Jason Kelce makes major change to his appearance ahead of Taylor Swift New Heights episode
Chiefs star Kelce and girlfriend Swift sent fans into meltdown after confirming that the popstar would be the special guest for the upcoming episode of 'New Heights'.
The social media accounts for the podcast shared a promo video from the episode and fans were quick to note a subtle difference in Jason's appearance.
After sharing screenshots of the older of the Kelce brothers, from the video, and claimed that he had dyed his beard.
One fan wrote: 'Biggest reveal of the Taylor swift album announcement was Jason Kelce's beautiful new beard paint job'.
Well, Jason didn't try and hide from the fact that he had done so and, in response, wrote on X: 'I promise the dye was for a good reason, don't hate me'.
The elder of the Kelce brothers did not deny the claims in a light-hearted post online
A side-by-side comparison evidently showed that Jason had ditched his 'salt and pepper' beard look for a jet-black style for the Swift episode.
Fans continued to debate the former Eagles star's new look on social media platform Threads. One wrote: 'I thought it looked a little less natural than normal'.
Another speculated: 'Maybe is filming something & had to dye it. He doesn't seem like the type to do it for vanity sake'.
While some fans decided to comment on Jason Kelce's beard, others were far too occupied with Taylor Swift 's new album reveal which occurred on the podcast.
She released the news at 12:12am ET on August 12 and at the same time a clip appeared on the social media pages of New Heights, the podcast co-hosted by the Kelce brothers.
'So I wanted to show you something,' Swift, who is sitting alongside her boyfriend, tells Jason in the clip.
'What do we got?' he asks, while Travis smirks, sticks out his tongue and grows increasingly giddy.
Eagled-eyed fans were quick to speculate as to why Kelce had dyed his beard
Swift then digs out a personalized briefcase and opens it up. 'What's in it?' the elder Kelce brother asks.
'This is my brand new album, "The Life of a Showgirl,"' Swift explains, pulling out the record. The album cover is blurred in the New Heights video.
'TS 12!' shouts Travis, who is now covered in glitter, while Jason screams: 'ARGH!!'
Shortly after midnight, the 20-second clip had amassed 38,000 retweets and 76,000 likes on X in just 20 minutes.

An absolute dream for Swifties all over the world - two hours of Taylor covering, in detail, many aspects and insights into her personal and professional life, alongside her 'human exclamation point' of a partner. Over her 20-year-career, the 35-year-old artist has been no stranger to interviews but a lengthy podcast appearance hadn't been on the cards until now. We got the massive news of the album reveal - The Life of a Showgirl will be released on October 3, 2025. The self-described numerology buff opted for this date - 10/3 - to link to her favourite number 13, while the 12 tracks mark the milestone of a twelfth album. Taylor also spoke about being able to buy her masters back, becoming emotional as she discussed the huge significance of a dream she's held since signing her first record deal as a teenager finally coming true. But it was her take on social media that really resonated with me. In a world dominated by a constant barrage of online content plagued by, sometimes, inescapable opinions, the iconic musician is relatively offline. And she offered a fresh and, in my opinion, life-changing perspective. She said: 'Think of your energy as if it's expensive.' As an anxious person who finds it all too easy to let negative comments run riot in my brain, this was an impressive and considered approach from arguably the most famous person in the world. Taylor was speaking about her friends and acquaintances who seem to respond similarly to me. She said: 'They'll see one comment they don't like and it'll ruin their day, it'll ruin their night and I just wanna say to them, you should think of your energy as if it's expensive, as if it's a luxury item. Sarah Jessica Parker admitted she was 'weepy' as she responded to online support from fans after her last performance as Carrie Bradshaw was called 'a waste.' Sex and the City reboot And Just Like That came to an end this week, with the actress concluding her journey as the iconic protagonist. But critics weren't impressed by how her story came to a close with critics roasting the episode and claiming it 'ruined' the show's legacy. As fans said 'farewell to our million dollar girl' on social media they showed their support and said no one could 'take away' what Carrie meant to them. Influencer Evan Ross Katz, wrote on Instagram: 'It was her. It was always her. And no TikTok repudiation or retroactive thinkpiece can take that away. Single and fabulous exclamation point. '"You're worth a million bucks, Bradshaw,' as Big once correctly noted. 'Carrie Bradshaw, you're a thing,' as Duncan proclaimed to her just a few episodes ago.' Evan continued: 'As we say farewell to our million dollar girl (perhaps for forever or maybe just for now), single at long last thank God. 'I'll quote her in saying that it's comforting to know that the ones you love are always in your heart. Take care of that heart, Carrie. (And maybe sell the townhouse.) Ta ta for now.' Sarah responded to the support and commented: 'Very weepy xxx.' The 'cringe' and 'underwhelming' twelfth episode — titled 'Party of One' — didn't fare well with critics, who called it 'blasé' and described Carrie's ending as a 'literal pile of crap.' In the episode, which runs for just over 32 minutes, Sarah's character comes to terms with the fact that she may end up being single for good, after years of romantic ups and downs, and following the death of her husband, Mr. Big (Chris Noth). Carrie says that her single status is not 'a tragedy' but simply 'a fact', and the episode ends with her changing the epilogue of the book she's been working on to read: 'The woman realized she was not alone - she was on her own.' It was not the glamorous ending many had envisioned for the beloved TV character's journey, which began with Sex and the City in 1998. A large portion of the episode is spent with Carrie at an awkward Thanksgiving dinner party, surrounded by a number of rude new characters. 'It's an episode that doesn't feel like a finale, much less a series finale,' Mae Abdulbaki from Screen Rant wrote of the finale. Critics and fans also took issue with a shockingly graphic toilet scene involving Victor Garber's character, art gallery specialist Mark Kasabian. The scene shows the toilet overflowing with waste, with Lauren Sarner from the New York Post calling it 'a little too on the nose.' 'For a show that began as a fun examination of female empowerment and friendship to end on such a depressing note feels like a slap in the face,' she wrote, adding that while the show started as a 'comedy' it 'ended as a tragedy.' Some also took issue with the fact that the finale doesn't have even one scene of Carrie together with both of her best friends, Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte York (Kristin Davis). 'For a show that's long insisted that all you really need are your best girlfriends, it's disappointing that Carrie spends practically the entire episode in the company of strangers,' Patrick Ryan of USA TODAY wrote. Robyn Bahr from The Hollywood Reporter said the season 'wasted potential and time' and saw Carrie 'go out with a whimper.' The episode was also dubbed 'a sad, heavy-handed and far too faecal farewell' by Hannah J. Davies from The Guardian. Many fans also expressed their displeasure with the last episode, which featured a number of bizarre scenes, including a farcical Thanksgiving with a lactose intolerant Zoomer named Epcot (Spike Einbinder) who clogs up Miranda's toilet. The divisive show sparked controversy with several plot points, including Miranda cheating on husband Steve with non-binary comic Che Diaz, and Carrie bizarrely claiming 'love of her life' Mr. Big was a 'mistake.' The previous episode dropped major clues about Carrie's ending, hinting that she might not get her happy ever after, following her split from on/off again boyfriend Aidan (John Corbett), and the end of her fling with neighbor Duncan (Jonathan Cake). In the final episode, Carrie realizes that she may end up being single for good.
