OnePlus 13s to launch in India on June 5
OnePlus has announced that its upcoming compact flagship — the OnePlus 13s — will be launching in India on June 5 at 12:00 IST.
The phone is being launched in India in three colors, two of which we are familiar with from the OnePlus 13T. These include the Black Velvet and the Pink Satin. India, however, gets an additional exclusive color called Green Silk but does not get the gray color of the 13T. The green and pink model have a new soft touch finish that is dubbed Velvet Glass.
The OnePlus 13s is being touted as a compact flagship smartphone. It features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and to keep it cool the phone has a 4400mm² vapor chamber heatsink, and a unique cooling layer on the back to keep the surface temperatures low.
Having the same design as the 13T, the 13s is 8.5mm thick and weighs 185g with a 50:50 top to bottom weight distribution. The front and back glass have 2.5D curved edges to them. The phone also features the new Plus Key, à la the iPhone Action Button, which lets you access features such as notification settings, AI tools, and more.
We don't yet have all the specifications and pricing information, which should be available closer to or at launch.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge teardown video reveals all
Samsung's Galaxy S25 Edge came out last month after much anticipation, and today it's been torn down on video by Zack at JerryRigEverything. The phone is easily opened through the back after applying some heat to the adhesive and then using a suction cup. Inside there are a lot of screws as you may expect. The vibration motor is super thin, but interestingly the waterproofing membrane over the speaker is tilted at an angle because of the phone's thinness. Battery removal is very easy, perhaps the easiest system on the market, which debuted on the other S25 devices. Obviously, the battery is where a lot of the thickness was cut in order to achieve the phone's 5.8mm profile. The company also removed "slivers of frame" wherever it could, Zack says, with the SoC directly in contact with the vapor chamber in the S25 Edge vs. the S25 Ultra. The middle layer of the baseboard is much thinner on the Edge too. Finally, the titanium frame actually uses an aluminum inner frame. Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge

The Phone (3)'s launch feels like it is supposed to be a turning point for Nothing — a company that built its brand by offering thoughtfully designed phones at slightly lower prices. At $800, the Phone (3) must not only match but exceed expectations across performance, camera, battery life, and software polish. So far, we've been generally happy with what the company has to offer, but that was in the mid-range and budget segments.
