OnePlus Pad 3 is set to be available in India soon. The company initially introduced the Pad 3 in June alongside its OnePlus 13s compact smartphone, but did not provide details about its availability in the Indian market at that time. Now, OnePlus has confirmed the tablet will be available for purchase in India starting next month, though the official pricing will be announced later. The OnePlus Pad 3 is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which is currently the fastest mobile processor offered by Qualcomm. This chipset supports smooth performance for everyday use, gaming, and other demanding tasks. The tablet offers two memory and storage options: 12GB of RAM with 256GB storage, and a higher-end model featuring 16GB of RAM with 512GB of storage. The device houses a 12,140mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The OnePlus Pad 3 features a 13.2-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 3.4K (2400 x 3392 pixels) and an adaptive refresh rate up to 144Hz. The display has a 7:5 aspect ratio, which OnePlus says improves the experience for reading and web browsing by providing a more square-like screen shape. The display can reach a peak brightness of up to 600 nits, claims the company. Furthermore, the device runs on OxygenOS 15, based on Android 15. The system also includes AI-powered tools such as AI Writer, AI Summarise, Gemini, and Circle to Search, aimed at enhancing productivity. For multitasking, the tablet supports Open Canvas, which offers drag-and-drop capabilities and split-screen suggestions to facilitate easy switching between apps like maps, chat, and browsers. The OnePlus Pad 3 will be available in two colour options: Storm Blue and Frosted Silver. While the Indian pricing remains undisclosed, the tablet is priced at around $699 (approximately Rs. 60,000) in the US and 529 euros (roughly Rs. 60,000) in the U.K.

OnePlus has announced that its latest Android tablet, the OnePlus Pad 3, will go on sale in India this September. While the company has not yet disclosed the exact sale date, it promised to share pricing and availability details in the coming weeks. In terms of design, the Pad 3 departs from the circular rear camera module seen on its predecessor and opts instead for a vertical pill-shaped camera island. It packs a thickness of just 5.97mm and weighs in at 675 grams. The tablet is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, the same chip used in the OnePlus 13 (Review) and OnePlus 13s (Review), and is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5T RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Running on OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15, the OnePlus Pad 3 is promised three years of OS updates and six years of security patches. Similar to last year's OnePlus Pad 2, the Pad 3 will also come with all the suite of multi-tasking features including open-canvas, multi-device connect and more. For cameras, the Pad 3 comes with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front-facing shooter for video calls and occasional selfies. The OnePlus 13 and 13R models launched earlier this year come with the alert slider, which means the brand has overhauled the system to support the new AI feature for users. The Plus Mind AI feature has been demoed working on the OnePlus 13s with the Plus Key but the company promised the tool will be rolling out to other OnePlus 13 models, and this week it has been made official. OnePlus 13 and 13R users will get a new update over the next few weeks that adds the new AI feature. The Plus Mind feature effectively lets you capture images, notes and posts from social media and save them in a folder on the app. You get an AI summary around an image or any notes that you take. When you long-press the Plus Key on the OnePlus 13s model, it can record the information you want to be saved. And if you own the OnePlus 13 or 13R model, the system will be slightly different. Other brands have offered similar features in recent months. Nothing has the Essential Space that works through the Essential key button that sits below the power key on the Nothing Phone 3a and Phone 3 models. Vivo is going big on cameras, too, to no one's surprise given that it's an X-series phone.
