Andy Woodman confident Bromley can benefit from improved strength in depth

Goals from Michael Cheek in the first half and former Barnet striker Nicke Kabamba in added time at the end of the second sealed all three points after Bromley had launched their season with a goalless draw at Shrewsbury.
The Bees in contrast have had a frustrating start to life back in League Two, suffering a second successive 2-0 defeat after they went down to Fleetwood last weekend.
Woodman said: 'I made a few changes to the side from last week as I saw one or two things that I felt I needed to tweak and it paid off today.
'I thought we worked hard on and off the ball and made it difficult for Barnet to impose themselves on the game.
'I look at our bench this year compared to last season and we have real strength in depth now. I know I have another XI waiting in the wings who I can bring in at any time and they are really pushing the lads and chomping to start themselves.
'This has raised the standards all around the club and we are seeing this in the performances so far.'
Barnet manager Dean Brennan cut a disappointed figure at full-time.
But he refused to be too downbeat with such a long way to go in the season and is confident improvement will be around the corner once he gets his squad up to full strength.
He said: 'We have a few teething problems at the moment that we need to sort out. A few of the boys are missing, we still need to get some more minutes into some legs and it's up to me to sort it out.
'It's a long season and we still have 44 games to go. It was a tight game and we had some good chances, but the difference ultimately was Cheek and Kabamba, good players who we know about.
'We're frustrated as ultimately we lacked a bit of quality in both boxes, but we know we have the necessary quality when everyone is fit. It's a difficult moment right now, but we move on to the next game at Walsall looking to get it right.'
