Moscow – SABA:
According to surveys conducted by Russia's International Tourism Development Center, 92% of foreign tourists who visited Russia last year expressed a desire to visit again, Novosti reported on Saturday.
The center's director, Yulia Maksutova, stated: 'Russia made significant efforts last year to attract foreign tourists, and these efforts have paid off. The number of people wanting to visit Russia repeatedly has increased. Surveys of tourists who visited Russia in 2024 showed that 96% were satisfied with their trip, and 92% expressed a desire to return.'
Maksutova noted that while these survey results are promising for Russia's tourism industry, some areas still need improvement. Specifically, 20% of foreign tourists reported communication difficulties due to language barriers, highlighting the need for Russian tour guides to enhance their foreign language skills.

Justice Ministry Condemns Yemenia's Decision Not to Accept Air Tickets Issued from Sana'a

Sana'a (Saba) – The Ministry of Justice and Human Rights condemned the decision of the Yemenia Airlines management in Aden not to accept air tickets issued from the capital, Sana'a. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Ministry explained that the arbitrary action taken by the so-called "Yemena Airlines Management in Aden" by not accepting air tickets issued from Sana'a or modifying their reservations constitutes a grave violation of the basic rights of Yemenis to movement and travel. The Ministry indicated that this decision deepens the suffering of thousands of citizens, especially patients who need to travel for treatment, those stranded abroad, and pilgrims affected by the suspension of flights at Sana'a Airport after it was targeted. Civil Aviation Authority condemns Yemen Airways' Aden Branch decision to reject tickets issued in Sana'a

Sana'a - SABA: The General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology has strongly condemned the recent directive issued by the Aden-based management of Yemen Airways, which prohibits accepting tickets issued in the capital, Sana'a, or making any changes or confirmations to such bookings. The directive also threatens legal accountability for any violations. In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the Authority declared the directive to be in clear violation of civil aviation laws and a blatant infringement on the rights of Yemeni citizens. The statement emphasized that those most affected by this decision are patients stranded abroad who are already facing dire economic and living conditions, making it difficult for them to purchase new tickets. It further asserted that internal administrative disputes within the airline should not be resolved at the expense of ordinary citizens, especially considering that Yemen Airways is the only national carrier and is collectively owned by the Yemeni people. The Authority called on the airline's management in Aden to uphold its national and legal responsibilities and not to become a tool for enacting retaliatory policies that harm the interests and dignity of Yemenis. The Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority urged the Aden branch of Yemen Airways to immediately rescind this directive unconditionally and to separate public service from internal conflicts. It also called for urgent measures to ensure the continuity of aviation services for all Yemenis without discrimination. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (Local)

In a statement to SABA, Yemenia Airways announced that it will operate two daily flights from Sana'a to Jeddah to facilitate the Hajj pilgrimage.
