Horse racing tips: ‘Masses of untapped potential' – Templegate's NAP could be a star

TEMPLEGATE takes on Monday's horse racing confident of building the bank for York Ebor festival with his tips. Back a horse by clicking their odds below. JET PATROL (4.27 Stratford, nap) Is ready for take off now he's joined James Owen. The canny trainer has earned a well-deserved reputation for hugely improving newcomers to the yard and there's untapped potential in this June arrival from Sandy Thomson's yard. He's lightly raced for his age and went close a couple of times over hurdles for the Scottish handler. Owen looks to have found a good debut race and has booked champion jockey Sean Bowen which suggests it's all systems go. MOSSVALE DIVA (2.45 Catterick, nb) Has been knocking on the door and this looks an excellent winning chance. She has gone down by less than a length on her past two outings – both at Beverley – so should handle Catterick's ups and downs. UNDER THE TWILIGHT (7.00 Windsor, treble) Won well here two runs back before going down in a photo at Glorious Goodwood. She's up the weights but looks well up to the challenge. MY GENGHIS (Windsor 4.52, Lucky 15) He went close at Chepstow on his turf return latest and is best over this distance. Former X Factor stars tie knot in Scottish ceremony nine years after appearing on show

The couple, who first appeared on The X Factor in 2014, had an intimate wedding ceremony near Glasgow in a special nod to their Scots roots on the big day. Two former X Factor stars have tied the knot in a stunning Scottish celebration, as they said 'I do' at an intimate venue near Glasgow at the weekend. The pair were last seen on the ITV talent show after nearly a decade from being on our screens. ‌ Glasgow singer Emily Middlemas featured on X Factor back in 2014 but didn't progress to the live performances. She made a comeback two years on and not only reached the semi-final, but also shared the journey with her partner, Ryan Lawrie. ‌ The teen sweethearts had started their romance in 2015, and Emily was left devastated when Ryan, from Coatbridge, was left walking following a sing-off against controversial rapper Honey G. ‌ Thankfully, it was only tears of joy on Friday, August 15, as the pair exchanged vows in a ceremony close to Glasgow. Emily, 26, posted a collection of snaps from her special day on Instagram alongside the caption: "Mr & Mrs Lawrie." The singer, who performs under the stage name ili, appeared radiant in a graceful wedding dress featuring a sweetheart neckline. Ryan, who composes tracks for fellow artists and is known as KoolKid, of course sported a kilt in a nod to his roots. One image showed Ryan lifting his bride and dipping her back for a romantic kiss at the altar, whilst another showed the loved-up newlyweds giggling as they snuggled on the lawn in the bright sunshine. The duo were also photographed taking to the dance floor at their reception for their special first dance, surrounded by their loved ones who gathered around. Emily changed into a second outfit so she could truly let loose on the dance floor. She sported a short strapless white dress adorned with pearls, paired with a silver set of Crocs. ‌ Following their vows, Ryan shared the wedding photos and an image of their new 'Mr and Mrs' mugs on social media. He penned: "Thank you to everyone who attended our big day & for all your beautiful cards/gifts. It means the world to us. Lots of love." Their marriage follows Ryan's proposal at the Giza Pyramids in Egypt in June 2022, three years before. The couple announced the news on Instagram while on holiday at the Giza Pyramids in Egypt. ‌ Emily said in her post: "I SAID YES. Also, dying, the mascara runs." Ryan also shared the pictures on his profile at the time, titling it "SHE SAID YES". Glasgow-based singer Emily shot to fame when she finished in fourth place in the thirteenth series of The X Factor. Ryan is known for writing hits like Microcosmos, for one of the world's biggest bands BTS.
