Katie Price reveals she has egg and sperm donors lined up for sixth child

Daily Record13-05-2025

Katie Price revealed she has the eggs donors after her 'turbulent IVF' journey with former partner Carl Woods back in 2023, but was unsuccessful.
Katie Price has eggs from several donors who look like her and an American sperm donor so that she can have a sixth child that looks like her before she hits 50. The former glamour model and reality TV star, 46, has revealed she has the egg donors after her 'turbulent IVF' journey with former partner Carl Woods back in 2023.
Their treatment was documented in the controversial show Katie Price: Making Babies earlier this year.

The mother of five says she her eggs 'are too old' but she has everything she needs in place to welcome a baby and she wants one that looks like her.

Speaking to Paul C Brunson on his We Need To Talk Podcast, she revealed she acquired donor eggs last year – before meeting current boyfriend JJ Slater, 32. And she was happy to have a baby 'on my own'.
Opening up about her plans, she even hinted that the father of her baby might not even be the MAFS UK star's as she already has a sperm donor lined up, while she also remained vague as to whether the couple have considered having children together.
Detailing her IVF battle and plans for the future, Price said: 'I had IVF and it failed because basically my eggs are too old. I gave it a go even though the doctors said you've got a 1% chance of that working, but I just said I might be that 1%. I'm doing it! I went through all of it and it didn't work.
'So I have got donor eggs, I got them last year. You don't see the picture but they go on how I look, like the dark hair, the green eyes, Spanish... because I've got like Italian/Spanish in me.
'And then because I'm not afraid to have a baby on my own, before I met JJ I was quite happy. I found a sperm donor from America, from black origin.'

She went on to reveal that despite having a sperm donor lined up, if she 'met someone' who wanted a child, she'd be open to have one with them - but they'll 'never have the Pricey DNA".
Price said: 'Because I'm pre-menopause at the moment, I thought you can't have kids, but you can. I've been tested, I'm, all fine, I can still carry babies. So I have got the eggs there, I've got everything set up ready for when I want it.
'But then I think what if I met someone and then they want a baby. Obviously I'd have to say to them well obviously you can never have my eggs so you'll never have the Pricey DNA. You'll have the donor DNA, you can't have the Pricey, only five kids have got the Pricey one - there's no more! Although I can carry it, but it'll be their sperm.

'But I'm not in no rush. This is the thing, I'm in no rush to do any of this, I'm in no rush to get married.
'To be honest, do I want to get married again?… It'll be nice to get all married but is it important to me? No.'
Price is already mother to five children with previous partners.

She is mum to Harvey, 22, with ex Dwight Yorke, Junior, 19, and Princess 17, with ex-husband Peter Andre, and Jett, 11, and Bunny, 10, with ex-husband Kieran Hayler.
Writing in her new book This Is Me, Katie told how she has an American fertility clinic on speed dial and has already chosen the man whose sperm she will use.
In an extract seen by The Mirror, Katie wrote: 'I am going to have another baby. There is a clinic that currently has some donor eggs and sperm ready and is waiting for me to come in and have them implanted.

'I went through a list of suitable donors and I have chosen sperm from a man who is mixed race from America and although I potentially have one egg that would be viable, I have chosen to have a donor egg too.'
Price also told how she would like to one day become a paramedic or a life coach, but also harbours dreams of rebuilding her fallen empire.
She said: 'I've got my book, I've got my perfume coming out, swimwear, underwear, all that. 'Exactly what I used to do before, but this time I'm in control and it's mine. I've done a reset. I feel like I've started my career again.
'But I'm more powerful because I've got the knowledge now. It's on my terms, no one else's.'

Phil Mickelson shows who he really is with moment in car park at US Open

Phil Mickelson left Oakmont and the US Open without speaking to the media on Friday, as he faces up to the real possibility that it could have been his final appearance in the tournament Golf legend Phil Mickelson 's US Open career may have drawn to a close at Oakmont, with the 54 year old American missing the cut and departing without speaking to the media. With his 55th birthday looming on Monday, Mickelson's chances of securing a career Grand Slam are slipping away. Mickelson's tournament exit was sealed when he missed a crucial putt in the rain. But despite the disappointment, he showed a touch of class as he left the course. Departing the iconic venue, Mickelson was seen distributing gifts to security personnel. ‌ In a lighter moment, Mickelson chatted with fellow golfer Ben Griffin about sunglasses, discussing the Uswing Mojing model that he has favoured for several years. ‌ Griffin recalled: "He was wearing a different pair of sunglasses, but was getting ready to put on the same models that I wear, the Uswing Mojing sunglasses. "He started wearing them four or five years ago. I think his first week might have been when he won the PGA Championship. The sunglasses are designed for golf and he pointed them out and I was like: Yeah, where are yours at?' "He was getting ready to put his on. He was wearing some flashy Raybans or whatever to warm up in. But, yeah, Phil is a great guy, it was good to talk to him," reports the Mirror US. Griffin reflected on the possibility that this could be Mickelson's last shot at glory, saying: "Yeah, unfortunately my memories of him are not winning because I know he needs it for the Grand Slam. Growing up, I enjoyed watching him and Tiger [Woods] go head-to-head, along with other big names. "Phil is a guy that I definitely watched throughout my junior golf and throughout childhood and was a good guy to kind of follow and be inspired by. ‌ "I think Tiger kind of stole the show for most of my childhood, just the way he was so dominant and winning majors. It was pretty inspiring. "I think that's why the talent level is so good nowadays, especially with kids coming out because we're kind of the first generation of guys that grew up watching Tiger and he made golf really cool and there's why there's such a huge influx of new golfers and the talent pool is growing. "Whereas when Tiger first came on Tour, there was a lot of golfers still and a lot of high-quality golfers, but I think nowadays the pool of people that play competitive golf is just way higher. "Because of that, it's way more difficult, and you're not seeing too many dominant players, except for maybe Scottie Scheffler."

Popular Ted Lasso character admits they don't know if they'll be in new series

Ted Lasso was confirmed to be returning for a fourth season in March this year, but will Strictly Come Dancing star Ellie Taylor be reprising her role of Sassy alongside Jason Sudeikis? Actress and comedian Ellie Taylor has revealed whether or not she will be returning for the new series of Ted Lasso. The Strictly Come Dancing star appeared alongside Jason Sudeikis in all three seasons of the popular Apple TV series. Ted Lasso wrapped things up, seemingly for good, in May 2023, but it was announced in March that the Emmy award-winning series will be returning for a fourth series, with executive producer Jason set to reprise his titular role of the American AFC Richmond coach. ‌ Announcing the surprise series, Jason, 49, said: "As we all continue to live in a world where so many factors have conditioned us to 'look before we leap', in season four the folks at AFC Richmond learn to leap before they look, discovering that wherever they land, it's exactly where they're meant to be." ‌ Among the other stars of Ted Lasso are comedian Nick Mohammed, Juno Temple, Phil Dunster and Game Of Thrones star Hannah Waddingham. Ellie - who is working with Intrepid Travel to campaign for more female-fronted travel shows - played the supporting role of Flo 'Sassy' Collins, best friend of Hannah's character Rebecca Welton. Hannah has revealed she is reprising her role as the owner of AFC Richmond when the fourth series begins shooting in July, but will Sassy be by Rebecca's side once again? Ellie isn't sure. "Oh, I have no idea," Ellie admitted earlier this week when asked if she was returning to the hit Apple TV series. "I mean, I know as much as you do about Ted Lasso. I'm delighted that it's coming back and I'll be avidly watching for sure." "I can't imagine anyone who was involved with the original series would not want to go back," Ellie mused when quizzed on if she wants to play Sassy one more time. "It was a joy to be a part of. I feel really lucky to have been part of such a show that is so well regarded and mean so much to so many people." Ellie may not be filming (yet) but she's keeping busy with a mammoth task - trying to shake up the male, pale and stale world of travel TV. The comedian has teamed up with Intrepid Travel to back a campaign for more women fronting travel shows. ‌ According to Intrepid Travel, less than a quarter (23%) of travel programmes commissioned last year were hosted solely by female presenters, despite almost half of women wanting to have some representation on screen to highlight the unique issues female travellers can experience. "I've spent my career challenging outdated attitudes, and travel TV is long overdue for a shake-up. It's wild that last year in 2024 only 23% of travel shows were hosted by women, despite the fact that so many women are passionate about travel, exploration, and storytelling. Intrepid found 48% of people consider travel to be a male-dominated industry, but it shouldn't be!" Ellie said of her new gig. ‌ "I'm thrilled to be partnering with Intrepid Travel to shine a light on this issue – and to do it in a way that makes people laugh while still making a serious point. We're not just calling out the disparity, we're also starting a conversation about what needs to change, and hopefully, inspiring networks to rethink who they put in the spotlight." In a bid to inspire commissioners to cater to the real interests of audiences, Intrepid Travel has teamed up with TV producer Nicola Hebden (known for Travel Man and Jack Whitehall: Travels With My Father) to devise a proposal for an innovative new travel series - Travel Ann. The programme will follow Ellie as she encounters remarkable women across the globe who have committed their lives to effecting significant change in their local communities. These are women who are pushing boundaries and redefining leadership within the realms of travel and conservation. In one suggested episode, Ellie spends time with The Black Mambas – the world's first and only all-female, unarmed anti-poaching unit – who are safeguarding endangered wildlife and inspiring a new wave of female conservationists. Travel Ann is in the process of being pitched to major UK TV networks for a 6 episode run. Further information on the TV series can be found here.

Scottish mansion once home to Queen's exiled Governess now on the market for £1.5m

Marion 'Crawfie' Crawford was exiled from royal circles after revealing palace secrets in her memoir A grand Aberdeen mansion linked to one of the Royal Family's most controversial betrayals has hit the market for offers over £1.5 million. The nine-bedroom property on 60 Rubislaw Den South was once home to Marion 'Crawfie' Crawford, the former Governess to Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Margaret, who was famously exiled from royal circles after sharing details of palace life in a tell-all memoir. ‌ Crawfie and her husband, Major George Buthlay, purchased the mansion after being evicted from Nottingham Cottage, once their lifetime gift from the royals, following the publication of The Little Princesses. ‌ The lucrative memoir offered an insider's glimpse into royal childhood and netted her around $85,000 at the time, a figure worth millions today. Once beloved and trusted, Crawford played a crucial role in the young princesses' lives, becoming a confidante and constant companion during a period of upheaval that included the abdication crisis, the accession of their father King George VI, and the Second World War. During Luftwaffe bombings, she even took shelter with the girls in Windsor Castle's dungeons. The Queen reportedly ran to tell Crawford about her budding romance with Prince Philip. But everything changed when The Little Princesses, originally serialised in Ladies' Home Journal and Woman's Own, hit the shelves. Her accounts included charming but unauthorised anecdotes, such as tipping ink over her own head in frustration and the young princesses pinching their dog to make it bark down a transatlantic phone line. The backlash was swift and brutal. 'Doing a Crawfie' became royal shorthand for betrayal. The Queen Mother allegedly ordered that no one speak to her again and instructed that any letters from Crawford to the Palace be burned. ‌ Yet the story is more complicated than it seems. The series had reportedly been part of a Palace-approved plan to improve Anglo-American relations, brokered via the Foreign Office. American editor Beatrice Blackmar Gould had met with the Queen Mother and Princess Elizabeth to discuss a royal series, and it was later agreed a member of staff would be interviewed. ‌ The Queen Mother suggested court correspondent Dermot Morrah write the articles based on interviews with Crawford, assuring her participation was permitted, as long as her name was not used. But when Gould convinced Crawford to allow her by-line to be included, it all fell apart. 'It was clear she was asked by the Palace to write the articles. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! 'Crawfie was devastated and completely heartbroken by what they did to her.' Despite the storm around her, the public response to the memoir was positive. Palace insiders even welcomed magazine editors for tea, celebrating the favourable PR, while the woman at the centre of it all was shunned. Crawfie, originally from Dunfermline and trained at Edinburgh's Moray House, was handpicked at just 22 by the Duke and Duchess of York to educate their daughters. She postponed her own marriage by eight years to remain in royal service, finally retiring in 1949 when Princess Margaret graduated from the schoolroom at age 18.
