MCU Star Asked For Name To Be Removed From 'Thunderbolts' Credits
The Marvel Cinematic Universe delivered a well-received hit with Thunderbolts , an unexpected result given the uncertainty surrounding the title. And, while the movie is enjoying a successful response from viewers, not everyone wanted to be credited. In fact, one MCU star asked for their name to be removed from the credits featured in Thunderbolts .
The film features a number of major stars, most of whom appeared in previous MCU projects, including Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, Lewis Pullman, Geraldine Viswanathan, Chris Bauer, Wendell Pierce, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. As such, it's a film known for its cast, and one would assume everyone would want to be credited alongside these stars.
As shared with Interview magazine, however, the actor explained why they asked to have their credits removed. This was revealed when they sat down to speak with cast member David Harbour who previously starred in the previous MCU project Black Widow .
The cast member that spoke with Harbour, Scarlett Johansson, shared the following response when Harbour asked if she saw the film, noting that she's 'all over this movie' and responded with the following when she said she hadn't:
'OK. You are an executive producer on it. Congratulations.'
Johansson added that she 'asked to have my credit removed,' specifically because of her lack of creative input, noting that 'I wasn't involved.' It's certainly a surprising response from the Black Widow star, especially knowing that she's played her character in numerous MCU projects going back to some of the earliest films in the franchise.
Nevertheless, Thunderbolts does make another nice send-off for the character, even if she wasn't creatively involved or mentioned in the credits. Whether or not she'll receive other chances to work on the MCU remains to be seen, though it's unlikely that she'll reprise her role as Black Widow, which she insists in the interview has been completed.
Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates on the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we have them. Now that Thunderbolts has hit theaters, fans can enjoy the release of The Fantastic Four: First Steps in theaters on July 25, 2025.

Princess Diana's 'Caring Dress' sold for $520K, her Lady Dior handbag for $325K. See what else people bought from the late royal's largest wardrobe auction.
Hopeful bidders and fans of Princess Diana were given the opportunity of a lifetime on Thursday morning: To own garments worn and beloved by the late royal herself. The auction, 'Princess Diana's Style & A Royal Collection,' took place in Beverly Hills, Calif., on June 26, and featured more than 200 items that showcased the princess's 'enduring influence as a fashion icon and humanitarian,' Julien's Auctions, the famed auctioneer company, said. Those who attended the live auction at the Verandah Ballroom in the Peninsula Beverly Hills were able to place first bids on items from the rare collection, though bidding online and over the phone with an auction house representative was also available. A portion of the proceeds from the auction will benefit the British charity Muscular Dystrophy UK, according to the auction house. Among Diana's auctioned items is her Belville Sassoon 'Caring Dress,' which sold for $520,000, her Lady Dior lambskin handbag, which sold for $325,000 and her beloved British Lung Foundation sweatshirt, which sold for $221,000. 'This collection is not only the most comprehensive offering of her wardrobe ever presented, but also a tribute to her elegance, grace, glamour, and enduring spirit. Each item is a window into a moment in history,' Martin Nolan, Julien's co-founder and executive director, said in a statement ahead of the auction. Here's a look at some of Diana's most coveted wardrobe staples, along with how much they were auctioned for. Scottish milliner John Boyd designed this custom hat, made of silk, ostrich feather plumes, feather stems and straw, for Diana's 1981 honeymoon send-off outfit. The headpiece, which she wore again in 1983, was dyed light pink to match her Belville Sassoon skirt suit. Diana wore this limited-edition ostrich feather fan to the Fanmakers' Banquet at Mason House in 1985. Inscribed on the three-plume fan's sterling silver handle is the Prince of Wales crest. Diana was famously photographed wearing this magenta nylon suit while skiing in Malbun, Liechtenstein, in 1985; Klosters, Switzerland, in 1986; and Lech, Austria, in 1992. The suit, with its dropped shoulders and funnel neckline, also features brass tone buttons and adjustable D-ring belts. Diana wore this coordinating yellow floral set to the Royal Ascot in 1987. Designed by Bruce Oldfield, the colorful coordinates feature a short-sleeve silk top with ruched sleeves and a pencil skirt in the same print. Diana was photographed wearing this wardrobe staple — a silk, floral-printed dress designed by Belville Sassoon — nine times between 1988 and 1992. The bright blue garment, with its puffed sleeves and inviting print, was dubbed the 'Caring Dress' because Diana often wore it during her visits with patients in hospitals. "It was colorful, approachable, likeable and huggable," Nolan told People. "When she would go to visit kids and people in the hospital, they gravitated toward the colors and felt they could hug her.' The winning bid belonged to Renae Plant, who runs a virtual Princess Diana museum. Immediately after learning she'd won the garment, Plant fell to the floor out of excitement. Another staple in Diana's closet was her three-piece Escada suit. The grey cashmere ensemble features a double-breasted blazer with bright blue pinstripes as well as a matching skirt and blue silk blouse. Diana was photographed wearing the ensemble on six separate occasions from 1988 to 1992. Diana stepped out in a pair of red-and-black leather heels designed by Rayne on Christmas Day at Sandringham in 1990. For the festive occasion, Diana paired the two-tone pumps with a black, white and red houndstooth skirt suit by Moschino Cheap and Chic, along with a Victor Edelstein blouse and Phillip Somersville brimmed hat. Diana was first photographed carrying the black Lady Dior handbag on her official visit to Argentina in 1995, and then later that same year during a visit to the Foundation for Conductive Education in Birmingham, England. Because of Diana's love of the silhouette, the box-shaped tote was later named Lady Dior in 1996, in her honor. The sleeveless black cocktail dress, with its delicate black beading on the bodice and subtly ruched skirt, was worn by Diana on a few occasions. The late princess wore the Catherine Walker garment at London Fashion Week in 1994 and again during her official visit to Hong Kong in 1995. Diana was photographed in a navy wool Catherine Walker coatdress while leaving the Carlyle Hotel in New York in 1995. The double-breasted garment features a black velvet collar and cuffs, and is adorned with gold anchor buttons. Featuring a long gold link handle and embossed Prada logo, the champagne-hued leather tote was worn by Diana on three separate occasions, in Moscow in 1995, and Pakistan and Chicago in 1996. No one did a slouchy sweatshirt like Princess Diana. The beloved royal had a knack for blending glamour and athleisure when it came to curating her everyday style. Included in her collection of sweatshirts was this British Lung Foundation crewneck, which she wore on several occasions. Here she's photographed wearing the sweater — with a blazer, light denim jeans, brown riding boots and a navy cap — at Guards Polo Club in 1988.

I Cracked the Taylor Swift Workout Routine—Here's the Lazy-Girl Version
Taylor Swift's laid relatively low since December 2024, when her record-smashing world tour came to a close after nearly two years. I saw the tour on its final U.S. leg in Los Angeles, and was floored by the show's propulsive energy as well as Swift's incredibly stamina and bodycon costume looks. I was exhausted after three-plus hours of screaming and dancing along with a stadium full of fans—so how in the world did the singer-songwriter manage to not only full-bore perform for that long, but then do it again for 149 shows in 21 countries? I looked to the Taylor Swift workout routine for worked out six days a week, for up to 2 hours a day, in preparation for her latest tour. Of course we're not just talking lifting a couple free weights and running a slow mile on the treadmill—no, the arguably biggest star in the world has guidance—a Los Angeles and New York-based fitness guru named Kirk Myers. He's the proprietor of the Dogpound, a gym that offers personal training and classes. When I took a class from two of his trainers last year, I was left a shaking puddle—after what, from people viewing on the sidelines, looked like a simple circuit of floor exercises. However the coaching about careful body placement and the fast flow through the circuit reps—as well as the two shouty and upbeat Dogpound trainers—made the session fly by, and I didn't realize how much my muscles had been taxed and my metabolism boosted until the pounding music stopped and I tried to stand up unassisted. I offer this as an insight into what Kirk told Vogue is Taylor's 'incredibly work ethic,' one that has her exercising like a pro athlete, with differing degrees of training depending on whether she's 'off-season' (not on tour) or 'on season' (hoofing it while singing for 3-plus hours, multiple nights in a row). The workout focuses on strength, conditioning and core work, all of which help her sing, dance and radiate Taylor Swift Magic to hordes of fans. One of the things that sets Swift's regimen apart from other touring musicians is that even when she was on the road, she'd still train a couple times a week for maintenance, in order to keep up her mobility and stability. Her trainer even asked an L.A.-based chiropractic physician for help with recovery techniques. Using Swift's cardio, strength and core workout as inspiration, I drew on the work of PureWow's staff workout coach, executive managing editor Catrina Yohay, a former D1 athlete, certified nutrition coach and avid runner, to craft this workout. While Swift's two-hours-long workout may not be your idea of a manageable routine (it's certainly not mine), this 45-minute version will definitely keep you in shape. Time: 20 minutes Think: anything that elevates your heart rate Durng the portion of your workout devoted to cardio, you can get creative. Beyond just running outside or on a treadmill, 'if you prefer to walk, row, hike, bike, swim, golf, box, ski, dance, play tennis or partake in any other activity that elevates your heart rate and increases your oxygen consumption, commit to 20 minutes a day and get after it,' Yohay advises. Time: until muscles fatigue (around 12 minutes) Think: weight training, planks, push-ups, and lots of body weight ideas below For strength work, you want to work out with weights or using body weight isometrics (such as planks and pushups) until muscle fatigue. Yohay recommends a four-part arm workout for women developed with Andrea Rogers of Xtend Barre. I'll give you the Sparks Notes version of that workout below, but you can see the whole thing demonstrated here. Part 1: Standing Arms Series Digital Art by McKenzie Cordell Standing arm exercises, including waltzing arms, V press, arm circles, half arm circles and pinkie lifts warm up your arms for the workout to come. See all standing arms exercises demonstrated. 10 reps, 2 sets each: Waltzing arms V press Arm circle Half arm circles Pinkie lifts Part 2: Standing Push-up Series Digital Art by McKenzie Cordell Leaning face-forward toward a wall, this series is what Yohay calls 'the plank push-up's much less intimidating cousin.' Wide elbow push-ups, static push-up holds and wide elbow push up pulses make up this set. 10 reps, 2 sets: Wide elbow push-ups Wid elbow pulses Hold for ten seconds, repeat ten times static push-up hold Part 3: Floor Work Digital Art by McKenzie Cordell Move through these four moves on a yoga mat: Tricep dips, quadruped plank to down dog, quadruped plank hold with pulse and full plank with alternating shoulder taps. 10 reps, 2 sets: Tricep dips Quadruped plank hold with pulse Full plank with alternating shoulder taps Flow through one set of 10 slowly. Once complete, flow through one set of 10 at a faster pace: Quadruped plank to down dog Part 4: Dumb Bells Digital Art by McKenzie Cordell Yohay recommends you start easy: 'Use whatever weight dumbbells you're comfortable with, but if you're new to this exercise start with 2 to 5 pounds,' she says. 10 reps, 2 sets each: Dumbbell hammer curl + shoulder press combo Dumbbell chest press Bent-over rows Bent-over row + tricep kickback Stability ball preacher curls Stability ball chest press locomotive Stability ball ceated shoulder press Stability ball push up Digital Art by Sofia Kraushaar Time: until muscles fatigue (around 12 minutes) Think: weight training, planks, push-ups, and lots of body weight ideas below For the sort of 360-degree stability that Swift needs to put on an Eras Tour show, she needs a super strong core to not only support her lungs and diaphragm for singing, she's got to have that support to keep her body aligned so that she doesn't fall off those high-heeled thigh boots or multi-story stage risers. Yohay asked Danny Saltos, a NASM-certified personal trainer and health coach, for help in outlining the best core workouts everyone can do at home with no special equipment. Her list of best core workouts includes 15 classic moves which aren't hard to understand (for example planks, toe touches, heel taps) but are taxing to perform in multiples. Yohay recommends choosing five core exercises of one to two minutes each, then repeating the set once or twice. Her personal picks (demonstrated here) include: Hold/perform for 60 seconds, repeat circuit once: Plank Side plank with rotation Deadbug Bicycle crunch Leg lifts McKenzie Cordell Time: around 5 minutes Think: squats, lunges, active stretching That not enough for you? For variety, add in lower body exercises or try something new, like a fitness ai gym . Whatever you do, remember the key idea is consistency. Swift's dedication to her fitness regimen is one of the unique aspects of this woman's incredible star power—surely you can devote an hour a few times a week to keeping yourself healthy. The Best Workout for Your Personality Type (Because, Yes, Finding One That's Compatible Makes a Difference)
