Celebrities Who Called Out Jeff Bezos Lauren Sanchez's Wedding
Their wedding is one of the biggest we've seen from celebrities, and one of the most controversial. One of the biggest reasons for controversy is how extremely exorbitant it all is, especially during such a turbulent time for so many Americans. Sanchez's multiple dresses reportedly cost upward of a million dollars, with the hotels being around $900,000, and over a million dollars in catering. That's not including security, transportation, and entertainment.
Then, there's also the fact that they rented out so much of Venice, despite the persistent pushback and protests from locals.
While many A-listers did go to the wedding, just as many have been calling out the event, including A-listers like Charlize Theron and Olivia Munn; and it's got Hollywood talking.
Below, see which celebrities called out or took jabs at Bezos and Sanchez's wedding.

Mia Farrow
Mia Farrow decided to take a jab by uplifting Bezos' ex-wife Mackenzie Scott, posting to Instagram: 'How awesome is MacKenzie Scott! ( jeff Bezos first wife & mother of his 4 children) ). As of mid-December 2024, she had given a total of $19.3 billion to over 1600 charitable organizations.'
Charlize Theron
At the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project 2025 Block Party, Charlize Theron poked fun at Bezos and Sanchez saying to the attendees, 'I think we might be the only people who did not get an invite to the Bezos wedding. But that's OK because they suck and we're cool.'
Olivia Munn
On the day after Bezos and Sánchez tied the knot, Olivia Munn subtly threw shade at them by reacting to Mia Farrow's Instagram post praising the Amazon founder's ex-wife, Mackenzie Scott. 'How awesome is MacKenzie Scott! ( jeff Bezos first wife & mother of his 4 children),' her post said. 'As of mid-December 2024, she had given a total of $19.3 billion to over 1600 charitable organizations.'
Munn reacted by saying, 'Truly incredible,' and this comes after her explosive rant about the Blue Origin space trip, per CNN.
Katie Couric
Katie Couric commented on Sanchez's wedding dress, saying, via New York Post: 'Welcome to the eighties — when big hair and conspicuous consumption ruled. Apparently, tacky is back.'
Rosie O'Donnell
'The BEZOS wedding. It turned my stomach seeing all these billionaires gathering in the gross excess of it all, the show of it. Is Oprah friends with Jeff [Bezos]. Really – how is that possible,' Rosie O'Donnell wrote on Instagram. 'And his fake fem bot wife. Who looks like that? Why would he choose her? After the salt of the earth MacKenzie. Sold his soul is what it looks like from here. The devil is smiling at all his conquests.'
Jenna Bush Hager
Jenna Bush Hager called out the fact that there were literal protests about the wedding. 'Everybody's talking about it,' she said to co-host Maria Shriver via EOnline. 'It's very public. There's protests in Venice, which I personally would hate.'
Megyn Kelly
'I don't know what she's doing, because unlike him, she was more beautiful before. She was actually very pretty when she was just normal, and now she's my age, I don't know what she's done,' Megyn Kelly said via Meaww. 'I can't imagine living my life like that for the pleasure of somebody, and I guess the inherent deal is, you get all the money, and it's just worth it? No.'
She then called the wedding a 'real middle-finger-with-the-money-splayed-out, Marie Antoinette moment.'
Meghan McCain
Meghan McCain also took a jab, calling the wedding a 'waste of money' on her Citizen McCain podcast. She blasted the 'egregious … display of gratuitous wealth' event, adding there is 'a lot of anger about [billionaires] not paying their fair share of taxes [and] not giving back the way they should.'
She added, '[Bezos said], 'Screw it, Im gonna have the most ridiculous, gaudy, over-the-top, celebrity-filled wedding in a city that I have no relationship to … and we're gonna screw up this city for a period of time and then show the entire world how much money we have and how much money you don't,''

The LeapMove is a gamified camera designed to get kids off the couch
LeapFrog has announced a new electronic learning system that swaps controllers for a camera. In fact, the LeapMove looks like an oversized, kid-friendly webcam, but is designed to connect to TVs like a console and get kids off the couch using educational games that require full-body movements to play. It's reminiscent of the Xbox Kinect or the PlayStation 2's EyeToy, but simpler and much cheaper than competitors' products like the $249 Nex Playground. The LeapMove will be available through retailers including Target, Walmart, and Amazon for $69.99, and comes with 25 motion-based games designed for kids aged 4 to 7. It might be hard to pull the older end of that demographic away from games like Roblox, Among Us, and even Fortnite, but in addition to motion detection, the LeapMove uses its camera to make players appear as themselves or 'whimsical characters' in several games, which may appeal to younger kids. The games cover 'foundational school subjects' including math, reading, and spelling, and require players to do everything from dancing around to waving their arms and even attempting to catch on-screen objects. The LeapMove connects to a TV over HDMI, and instead of rechargeable batteries it needs access to a power outlet. It can be used either sitting beneath a TV or perched atop it like a webcam using a fold-out support. LeapFrog says additional games will be made available for the LeapMove at a later date, which can be loaded by connecting the device to a computer and using the company's LeapFrog Connect desktop app. They won't be free, but unlike the Nex Playground, the LeapMove doesn't come with any subscription fees. Parents concerned about privacy, particularly with devices that rely heavily on a camera, may appreciate that the LeapMove has no wireless connectivity. In 2018, VTech, LeapFrog's parent company, agreed to settle for a $650,000 fine after the FTC alleged it collected kids' personal information, including names, emails, and genders, through its KidiConnect mobile app. The LeapMove is completely standalone and keeps track of up to three players' progress locally. LeBron James posts image of himself with Clippers logo in background
All of a sudden, not as many people are talking about LeBron James possibly asking the Los Angeles Lakers to trade him. That talk has largely subsided as the realities of how difficult it would be to pull off a trade that would land him on an instant title contender have seemingly sunk in. But many feel James has been dropping passive-aggressive hints that he may want to move on. Earlier this offseason, he had a couple of social media posts of himself in his native Ohio, including one at the Cleveland Cavaliers' facility. The latest such post shows him working out in a room that has the Los Angeles Clippers' logo positioned behind him. The accompanying caption on that Instagram post read as follows: "Say whatever you want but you damn sure won't be able to say I didn't put in the WORK!! . We'll see what happens when I no longer exist. Man [expletive] this [expletive]." This could be a big nothing as far as which team James will play for in the coming months, and it's always possible he's simply looking to mess with people who love to speculate about him. Of course, since it is him, and since he is infamously passive-aggressive, people will wonder what this post is really all about.
