Suicide Squad star Jared Leto's rep breaks silence on sexual misconduct allegations involving underage accusers

Academy Award-winning actor Jared Leto has been accused by at least nine women of sexually inappropriate behaviour as of June 7. The claims were first reported by Air Mail, which noted that some of the alleged victims were underage at the time of their interactions with the actor-musician. Leto's representatives have since issued a statement, flat-out denying the accusations on all counts. However, an anonymous woman told the outlet, 'It's been an open secret for a long time.' Here's a breakdown of the serious claims against the Suicide Squad star. Los Angeles-based DJ Allie Teilz, one of the very first accusers, reposted her decade-old Facebook post where she claimed Leto tried to force himself on her backstage. She also called the Dallas Buyers Club star 'Hollywood's most persistent predator in a kilt.' In another post, she said she was underage when the incident happened and claimed he knew it but didn't care. 'I was assaulted and traumatised by this creep when I was 17,' she wrote, adding, 'What he did was predatory, terrifying, and unacceptable.' In response to the accusations, Leto's rep said, 'Ms. Teilz's allegations are demonstrably false.' 'I remember him teasing me the whole time I was there,' Laura told Air Mail. 'He was flirting with me. He'd lean in close, then pull away, like it was a game.' The outlet reported that Leto walked out of his room without any clothes on in front of her. Leto's representative claimed that their communication was not inappropriate and that La Rue had even applied to work for them. But La Rue denied ever applying. An anonymous woman who spoke to the outlet claimed she started texting Leto when she was underage. She alleged their encounters turned sexual when she was 18 and that one experience left her feeling uncomfortable. A fourth person claimed she met the actor at a café when she was 16, and said their conversations later made her uneasy. 'He'd ask things like, 'Have you ever had a boyfriend? Have you ever…' she said. 'He changed his voice, the way he talked. It scared me. That was the first time I thought, 'Oh my God, that's not just in movies.'' Another accuser said Leto called her late at night and made remarks that crossed the line. She speculated he might have been on drugs or something, to which Leto's team responded, saying he 'has not had a drink or used drugs in over 35 years.' In 2018, actor Dylan Sprouse tweeted about Leto's habit of messaging young models: 'Yo @JaredLeto now that you've slid into the DMs of every female model aged 18–25, what would you say your success rate is?' Director James Gunn even replied, 'He starts at 18 on the internet?' Leto, known for his intense method acting, once claimed to have sent bizarre gifts to cast members on the Suicide Squad set, but later walked it back, saying those stories were blown out of proportion.

Illegal arms smuggling racket busted in Punjab

The recovered weapons include two Glock 19X pistols, two .30 bore pistols, one .30 bore Star Mark Pistol and one Beretta .30 bore Pistol. Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav said those arrested have been identified as Rajan, Paramjit Singh and Dinesh Kumar, all residents of Amritsar. Chandigarh, Jun 7 (PTI) Punjab Police on Saturday said it has busted an illegal arms smuggling racket with the arrest of three people and recovery of six sophisticated foreign-made weapons, smuggled from across the border. Preliminary investigations revealed that the accused were working under the directions of Jugraj Singh, who is currently lodged in Central Jail at Sri Goindwal Sahib, and actively running the smuggling racket through his advocate's munshi identified as Rajan. The kingpin Jugraj Singh, who has been facing several criminal and drug-related cases, is reportedly in contact with Pakistani drug traffickers from within the jail, he said. The DGP said these weapons were smuggled from across the border and were likely meant to be supplied to criminal elements in Punjab. Further investigations are on to establish forward and backward linkages in this case, he added. Sharing operation details, Additional Director General of Police of the anti-narcotics task force Nilabh Kishore said that they had received credible inputs about the trio's involvement in retrieving weapons on the directions of their jailed handler Jugraj Singh. Acting swiftly on the inputs, police teams launched an intelligence-led operation and apprehended accused persons from opposite Khalsa College in Amritsar and recovered weapon consignments from their possession, he said. Police will bring Jugraj Singh from jail on a production warrant to carry out further investigation in this case and identify more persons involved in this smuggling racket, he said. Has Khaby Lame been deported? ICE issues statement on Las Vegas arrest

Social media influencer Khabane 'Khaby' Lame was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Nevada on Friday over alleged immigration violations. ICE confirmed the incident in a statement to Men's Journal, noting that Lame was later granted 'voluntary departure' and has since left the country. Political activist Bo Loudon was the first to share the news publicly, claiming in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that Lame had been arrested in Las Vegas and was being held at the Henderson Detention Center. 'President Trump's ICE just officially arrested far-left TikToker, Khaby Lame, whom I reported as an illegal alien. According to the official DHS website, he's currently being held at the Henderson Detention Center and is in ICE CUSTODY,' Loudon wrote on X on Friday. In a follow-up post, Loudon wrote, 'Meet far-left TikTok star 'Khaby Lame.' He's an ILLEGAL ALIEN! I've been working with the patriots at President Trump's DHS to make this happen. He was just ARRESTED in Vegas and is in ICE CUSTODY! To verify, go to ICE's Locator, type the A-number, and Senegal as country." Loudon also shared what he claimed was a screenshot from ICE's online detainee locator tool, listing Lame as in custody. However, confusion spread online after Lame appeared active on social media. He posted multiple times on both his Instagram Story and TikTok page following the reports, leading fans to question the authenticity of the claims. Despite this, ICE confirmed the detention in a formal statement to Men's Journal. Following ICE's confirmation, Loudon posted again: "President Trump's ICE just announced the largest TikTok user, ILLEGAL ALIEN Khaby Lame, has "departed" the U.S. after being taken into custody. No one works faster than President Trump's administration." Loudon also shared a screenshot of an email allegedly from an ICE spokesperson. The mail stated: "U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained Seringe Khabane Lame, 25, a citizen of Italy, June 6, at the Harry Reid International Airport, Las Vegas, Nevada for immigration violations. Lame entered the United States April 30 and overstayed the terms of his visa. Lame was granted voluntary departure June 6 and has since departed the U.S.' Also Read: Paramount ICE raids: What is happening near Home Depot and why are people getting arrested?
