Rythu Bharosa disbursement touches ₹8,284.66 crore; 67 Lakh farmers benefit from financial assistance scheme
The financial assistance scheme, which spans across all 33 districts, covered 138.08 lakh acres so far, with timely installments released based on landholding size, ensuring equitable distribution and support to small, marginal, and medium farmers.
The disbursement started on June 16. On the first day, ₹23.49 crore was transferred to 41.25 lakh beneficiaries holding up to two acres. Money was deposited into the accounts of farmers with landholdings from three to nine acres, from June 17 to 21. On June 23, farmers owning up to 15 acres were covered with ₹5.14 crore disbursed to 81,571 beneficiaries.
The biggest farmers group in terms of land owning were in the up to five acre group, where over 62 lakh farmers benefitted. Farmers owning up to one acre were about 24.22 lakhs and they received ₹812.63 crores, according to officials in the Chief Minister's Office.
Nalgonda district leads with the highest disbursement where 5.13 lakh farmers were given ₹679.19 crores so far. Khammam, Nagarkurnool, Suryapet, and Sangareddy also featured among the top districts, each receiving over ₹350 crore in assistance. Even urban and smaller districts like Medchal-Malkajgiri and Warangal West saw inclusivity in disbursements.
Achampet constituency topped the list with ₹147.95 crore disbursed to 1.02 lakh pattadars. Asifabad, Makthal, Thungathurthy, and Zaheerabad constituencies followed closely, with each receiving over ₹100 crore. Rural constituencies overwhelmingly benefited with the targeted support.

Since then, the Japanese automaker has invested significantly in the region, creating jobs and boosting the local auto component ecosystem around Mehsana. The Suzuki Motor Gujarat plant is now among the largest automobile manufacturing facilities in the country, serving both domestic and export markets. Gujarat's strong port connectivity has positioned it as a strategic export hub, with automobile exports worth ₹3,459 crore in 2024 to markets such as South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Japan, the UAE and Chile. Overall, investments in Gujarat's automobile sector reached ₹29,700 crore in FY23, growing at a CAGR of 16.4 per cent over the past five years. The Mandal Becharaji Special Investment Region (SIR) has also become a key centre for auto manufacturing, drawing global players and allied industries. The state is set to highlight these achievements at the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conferences (VGRC), where it will showcase opportunities for global investors in the automotive and allied sectors.

Advanced Technology Centres Promise 100% Job Placement for Trained Youth: DC B.M.Santhosh
Gadwal: District Collector B.M. Santosh announced that every student completing training at the newly established Advanced Technology Centres (ATCs) will be assured of employment opportunities. Chairing a meeting at the Collectorate's video conference hall on Thursday, the Collector explained that the Telangana Government has transformed traditional ITIs into modern technology hubs by setting up ATCs, equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, world-class laboratories, and Industry 4.0-standard machinery. The district has a total of 172 seats this year, and officials have been directed to complete admissions within a week. Each mandal must ensure the enrolment of at least 15 students, he said. Panchayat Secretaries have been instructed to create awareness at the village level. The District Education Officer will compile and submit a list of 10th-grade pass-outs, while school dropouts from Intermediate and even ITI graduates are also encouraged to join the courses for enhanced job prospects. The Collector revealed that six specialised courses are currently available at ATCs, all promising secure employment for trainees. Hostel-based SC, ST, BC, and Minority students will also be provided with free mid-day meals. There is no admission fee, and applications can be submitted online via the Telangana ITI admissions portal by providing SSC/Transfer Certificate and Aadhaar details. Develop four natural depressions along Indira canal into reservoirs: CM
Jaipur: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma Wednesday directed that four natural depressions along the main canal of Indira Gandhi Nahar Project (IGNP) be developed into reservoirs without delay, with land acquisition for these sites to be expedited. "These depressions will become vital water storage points, enabling us to conserve rainwater and surplus canal water, reduce wastage, and ensure a steady supply for irrigation and drinking purposes in adjoining regions," Sharma said while chairing a review meeting of water resources department, IGNP, and command area development (CAD) department at the Chief Minister's Office. The IGNP, often described as the lifeline of Rajasthan's desert districts, faces growing demand for additional water to meet both irrigation and domestic needs. To address this, the state govt has proposed the reservoir plan, though the exact locations of the upcoming sites have not been disclosed. The chief minister also called for the promotion of sprinkler irrigation methods in lift canal projects to improve water efficiency and benefit more farmers. "Sprinkler irrigation is the way to ensure optimal utilisation of water in desert areas. This method saves water and prevents additional stress on the groundwater table," he noted. Reiterating that making Rajasthan self-reliant in the water sector was top priority, Sharma instructed officials to expedite all pending projects announced in state budgets for the past two years and ensure regular monitoring. The ambitious Ram Jalsetu Link Project was also discussed, with the chief minister directing that progress reports on all key projects be submitted to his office every 15 days. "Work must be visible on the ground. Unnecessary delays will not be tolerated, and negligent officials will face strict action," Sharma warned.
