Tyler, The Creator Taps The Stunning Nia Long For ‘DARLING, I' Music Video
Source: Arturo Holmes / Getty Tyler, The Creator sent the internet into a tizzy on Aug. 19 after releasing the video for his 2024 single 'DARLING, I,' featuring Teezo Touchdown. The fun visual is loaded with a ton of star power, featuring cameos from singer Willow Smith, actresses Ayo Edibiri, Lauren London, and the breathtakingly beautiful Nia Long, who proves that Black certainly does not crack! The fun and colorful video follows Tyler as he gives his heart away to a few beautiful women. It kicks off with the Cali native riding around the city with Long, 54, as they get a little cozy in the back of a limo. At one point, the Hollywood veteran—who dons sleek straight hair, flawless skin, and fashionable glasses—pulls the rapper in close, seemingly about to plant a kiss on his cheek, but instead, sticks out her tongue and gives the 34-year-old hip-hop star a playful lick. The moment took social media users by surprise across YouTube and Instagram. 'Tyler flirting with Nia Long in the music video was not something I expected,' wrote one fan in the comments section of YouTube after the visual dropped Tuesday. We care about your data. See our privacy policy. 'Go head, Nia….oh man, you got all the eras of Black beautiful women in here, love it,' another penned. 'Nia long so fine,' a third added. The rapper continues to fall in and out of love with several of the previously mentioned stars. Among them are The Bear 's Edebiri, who receives flowers from Tyler, and Smith, who shares a playful photo booth moment with the 'See You Again' artist. Eventually, his affections shift to London. In a shocking twist, the rapper surprises the women with a gift, a live beating heart, still pumping blood outside the body, before finding his true forever partner at the end of the video. Notably, 'DARLING, I' is Tyler's infectious single off his 2024 album, Chromakopia , but he's moved on to new projects since. In July, the talented star dropped DON'T TAP THE GLASS , his ninth studio album. The project includes guest appearances from stars like Pharrell Williams and singers Madison McFerrin and Yebba. ‘Wednesday' Dethroned In Netflix's Top 10 List By A New Show
While this was inevitable, I will say I was a bit surprised to see it happen this quickly. It seemed like megahit Wednesday could have easily stayed on top of Netflix's Top 10 list for the gap between season 2 part 1 and season 2 part 2, but that is not the case. Not even two weeks after the show came out, it's been knocked down off #1. Technically, this is by two shows, but the first is WWE Monday Night RAW, which does big numbers every Monday. Netflix held it off the previous Monday, but now it's here at #1. However, Wednesday was also beaten out by Fit for TV: The Reality of The Biggest Loser, a new reality series focused on the infamous weight loss show. The documentary is a three-party offering that at 124 minutes, is essentially a two hour movie, which covers a number of contestants on the show, medical professionals commenting on the whole thing and the grand finale about the show shutting down, and how many people gained back all the weight once the rapid weight-loss series ended, despite so many apparent success stories. In an age when shows like 1000-Pound Sisters or My-800 Pound Life are routinely popular, I'm not all that surprised that this has done well so far. The question is whether or not Wednesday will be able to come back and unseat it. Wednesday will return on September 3 for Part 2 of Season 2, and the marketing machine has already been ramping up for that launch between new red (black) carpet events and trailers centered on the surprise reveal of the return of Gwendoline Christie's Principal Weems, which, I suppose, is no longer really a surprise at all. The idea is that she will return to be Wednesday's spirit guide in the latter half of the season. As ever, the idea of splitting these show releases in half remains tiresome. Either do a binge release or release them week-to-week like everybody else. These breaks are the worst of both worlds! Of note on the rest of the list, a number of former #1s are holding rock solid, all right in a row: The Hunting Wives, Sullivan's Crossing and Untamed at numbers four through six. Untamed has gotten a second season already, despite it being a miniseries, Sullivan's Crossing was already getting another season before it hit it big on Netflix and The Hunting Wives? It's only a matter of time given how it's performed. Follow me on Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram. Pick up my sci-fi novels the Herokiller series and The Earthborn Trilogy.

YouTube Unveils Broadcasters For Platform's First-Ever Live NFL Game
On Tuesday, YouTube announced the broadcast talent for its first-ever live NFL game. The Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs will meet at Corinthians Arena in São Paulo, Brazil on Sept. 5. Sports media veteran Rich Eisen, who is expected to once again appear on ESPN platforms following the company's recent acquisition of NFL Network, will serve as the play by play caller for the Week 1 matchup. It's the NFL's second consecutive year playing a regular season game in Brazil. Eisen will be joined by analyst and Super Bowl XXXIV champion Kurt Warner. Stacey Dales and YouTuber Donald De La Haye, who is also known as Deestroying, will both serve as sideline reporters for the free exclusive broadcast on the video platform, which has experienced a rise in recent years as a sports programming destination for media networks, leagues and teams. Deestroying, a former player at Central Florida, boasts more than 6.3 million subscribers on YouTube where he's documented his journey of trying to become an NFL kicker. He played for the UFL's San Antonio Brahmas over the last two seasons but was plagued by recurring injuries. Rules expert Terry McAulay will also join the YouTube broadcast. Meanwhile, sports media personality Kay Adams, who hosts the daily 'Up & Adams Show' on FanDuel TV, will host the on-site show in Brazil with Heisman Trophy winner and analyst Cam Newton, a three-time Pro Bowler and NFL Most Valuable Player in 2015. At the NFL Network's studios in Los Angeles, Brandon Marshall — a six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver across 13 seasons in the NFL — will moderate the conversation around the game in South America. He will be joined by analysts Derek Carr, who retired in May after an 11-year career mostly with the Las Vegas Raiders, and Tyrann Mathieu, a former standout defensive back at LSU and Super Bowl champion. Fantasy football analyst Peter Overzet will also provide commentary and analysis for the regular season game, which will feature Colombia singer Karol G as the halftime performer during the first-ever live NFL game on YouTube.
