‘Ranveer Singh's Exit Did Not Hurt Us': YRF Casting Director Shanoo Sharma
Ranveer Singh left the YRF Talent Management firm in 2022 and joined the Collective Artists Network.
Ranveer Singh, who burst onto the scene with his 2010 debut Band Baaja Baaraat opposite Anushka Sharma, was one of casting director Shanoo Sharma 's most remarkable discoveries for Yash Raj Films. However, after over a decade of collaboration, the actor eventually parted ways with the production house. In a recent interview, Shanoo addressed whether Ranveer's exit impacted YRF's management or strained his relationship with the studio.
Shanoo Sharma, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, said that Ranveer Singh's decision to leave did not impact the management much. She said, 'It didn't hurt that he left. He's going ahead with his life. I wish him all the best. There's a reason why he must be going; there's a reason why the production house is okay with him going."

Shanoo Sharma further added that things work and fade away, and that is the cycle of the business they are in. She clarified that there is no bitterness between the production house and Ranveer Singh. 'He's my best friend as well, so there's nothing difficult on that front," Shanoo added. Ranveer Singh left YRF's Talent management firm in 2022 and joined Collective Artists Network, which also manages Deepika Padukone's account.

On the work front, Ranveer Singh appeared in several YRF films, including Band Baaja Baaraat, Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl, Befikre, and Jayeshbhai Jordar. He most recently appeared in the Rohit Shetty-directed film Singham Again, where he had an extended cameo.
Ranveer Singh's next film is Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar. The spy action thriller is scheduled to enter theatres on December 5, 2025. Apart from Ranveer, the film's other main cast members include Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal. Sara Arjun will be seen as the film's leading lady. Even though plot details are unknown at this time, it is expected that Ranveer Singh would portray an undercover spy in the film. According to reports, the film will highlight the bravery of India's special agents in Pakistan. Meanwhile, Ranveer is also working on Farhan Akhtar's Don 3.

Further, when we spoke to him about facing something close to trolling for his role in the Aamir Khan starrer, he revealed an incident when an assistant director told a filmmaker that Vipin Sharma is very arrogant without even meeting him. When Vipin confronted the AD, he revealed that he has that image because of his role in Taare Zameen Par. Vipin Sharma had the wish to play a female character, and Monkey Man helped him fulfill that wish. When asked how this one was special to him, Sharma revealed, 'Monkey Man definitely was the first one that made my dream come true — to make me wear a saree and see how graceful it is. Trust me, it is the most graceful attire in the entire world." 'I have realized that dressing up as a girl has brought something, something deep inside me has shifted; it just allowed me to see a different part of me," he added, and continued that while getting ready for his character in this one he had a major realization and stated, 'When I first saw myself in a saree, I realized that I actually look like my mom, and I had never realized that before. I always thought that I looked like my father, but it was the first time I realized I looked like my mom." Dhadak 2 starred Triptii Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi as the main leads, and when we questioned him about the two young talents, he shared, 'They are beautiful people. They both are very nice, and I don't know what happened to me—I was telling Triptii that I was getting a rage of emotions watching her on screen." Dhadak 2 follows a law student who falls in love with a classmate, only to face abuse from her family due to caste inequalities. It has been praised for its sensitive portrayal of casteism. Produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, Zee Studios, and Cloud 9 Pictures, Dhadak 2 was initially slated for release in November last year but faced multiple delays, reportedly due to issues with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Sikkim CMs mother to be special guest at Amma Samman Divas function on Sunday
Gangtok, Aug 9 (PTI) Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang's mother will be the special guest at the 'Amma Samman Divas' function here on Sunday, officials said. The event will honour mothers across the state. 'Sikkim CM's mother Dhan Maya Tamang will grace the function to be held at Rangpo ground tomorrow," women, child, senior citizen and divyangjan welfare department officials said on Saturday. The event will also mark the distribution of financial assistance of Rs 20,000 each to 32,000 beneficiaries under the Sikkim Aama Shashaktikaran Yojana (SASY). In addition to the financial aid, the event will also recognise hard work and dedication of the state's anganwadi workers, officials said, adding the top five anganwadi workers from each district will be felicitated for their outstanding service to the community.
