Noel Edmonds will launch a TV comeback later this month - with a little help from his old pal Mr Blobby.
ITV are screening Noel Edmond's Kiwi Adventure in the next few weeks. It will see Noel, 76, back on primetime TV. The series shows how after appearing on British TV for over 50 years Noel Edmonds left the country in 2018 and travelled 11,500 miles to build a brand-new life in New Zealand with his wife Liz.
The series will show him trying to build New Zealand's first energy garden and a fledgling business. Two years ago, they bought land around Ngatimoti, a small rural town and built a hospitality business in the heart of the community, including a vineyard, coffee cart, general store and restaurant & pub, which is about to reopen to the public for its second full season.
On a trailer released today, Noel says: "New Zealand is a great place to come to it's not the easiest place to set up a business. We're haemorrhaging money at the moment, what Liz and I wish to achieve is community."
Mr Blobby then appears on screen and he adds with a laugh: "You travel halfway round the world and he turns up!"
He also shows his pub is called 'The Bugger Inn' and features a Crinkley Bottom mug from his days hosting Noel's House Party on BBC.
In March, rumours of the show leaked out and it draw comparisons with Jeremy Clarkson show Clarkson's Farm, which airs on Prime Video. But Clarkson's Farm is now making money and it remains to be seen if Noel can ensure his business makes a profit as he has to cope with unseasonal bad weather and "feelings of being an outsider".
In 2018, Noel went on I'm A Celebrity and picked up a reported £600,000 fee and a feeling he could be one of the leaders of the camp for the rest of the series.
But in one of the biggest shocks in reality TV history Noel Edmonds was the first contestant to leave the show that year. Rather than try to make more TV he then headed to New Zealand soon after to begin a new life.
Noel started his broadcasting career hosting Top of the Pops in the early 70s and later went on to present nineties hit Noel's House Party with beloved Mr Blobby and Deal Or No Deal.

Clarkson's Farm is back – with the finale of season four out on Prime Video today – but not everyone is happy about it. It's not the anti-farming brigade I'm talking about – or even the specific anti-Clarkson brigade, who've disliked him since his Top Gear days. No, it's the people within the rural and farming communities that I'm talking about. When the programme launched, it was heralded by many as something of a miracle for British agriculture. Clarkson's programme showed the people at home all the ups and downs of farming life in its brutal reality: the sheaves of inane paperwork; the incentives to actually not farm at all; the masochism of the British weather and the brutal acceptance that with life, comes death. As farmers always say, 'where there's livestock, there's deadstock', and Clarkson's Farm didn't shy away from showing viewers this truth. It might not all be entirely genuine, but it was far closer to the truth of life in the countryside than the likes of your average Countryfile episode. In fact, author and sheep farmer James Rebanks went so far as to say that Jeremy Clarkson had done more for farmers in one TV series than Countryfile managed in 30 years.

EastEnders star Patsy Palmer stunned her British Soap Awards co-stars with her very crude speech while on stage as host Jane McDonald was left open mouthed Patsy Palmer had her soap colleagues' jaws on the floor with her crude speech on stage at the British Soap Awards. The EastEnders star picked up the Best Comedy Performance for her role as loudmouth Bianca Butcher. She made an epic comeback to the BBC soap in February as part of the 40th anniversary celebrations. However, Patsy's speech took an unexpected turn when she headed up on stage to collect her award. The glitzy do, which took place over the weekend but aired on TV last night, was hosted by Jane McDonald. She was so stunned by Patsy that she turned to face the camera with an open mouth. The TV favourite kicked off her cheeky speech: "Knock knock. Listen I haven't prepared a speech because I thought Jack [P. Shepherd] was going to win." She continued: "To be able to be funny and all of what we've seen tonight, is nothing short of a miracle really. I want to thank Shona McGarty for leaving, because if she hadn't have left, I wouldn't have come back." Patsy's speech soon took a turn as she admitted: "I wasn't expecting that and I'm so glad I did because I stayed for the 40th and that was really where we celebrated the woman's vagina. The actress then declared: "I think vagina's have always been funny." She was met with both shock and laughter from the audience as she also burst out laughing. However, Michelle Collins, who plays Cindy Beale, looked mortified while Ian Beale actor Adam Woodyatt appeared gobsmacked at Patsy's remark. The reference was, of course, to Sonia Fowler giving birth during the live 40th anniversary episode. Carrying on her speech, Patsy said: "All jokes aside, coming back to EastEnders after quite some time has been the most amazing experience for me. "I'm beyond grateful, I'm not going to cry because it's a comedy award, but you have no idea what a gift it has been for me to come back." When she left the stage, a baffled host Jane said: "I don't know quite what to say. How many times can you say vagina in one speech." Viewers also joked about the reason the award ceremony is not broadcast live as one said: "I mean perhaps they are given how many times Patsy Palmer said the word vagina in her acceptance speech!' Another added: 'I cannot wait to see what parts of Patsy Palmer's vagina tangent makes the tv broadcast.' Someone else commented: 'Happy Patsy Palmer Vagina Speech Day to all who celebrate.' It wasn't the first time Patsy left viewers stunned with her speeches, as some Celebrity Big Brother viewers felt awkward during her exit chat. She didn't seem impressed when quizzed on her clash with Mickey Rourke in the house before he was booted out for his shocking behaviour. Host Will said: "There were a few tricky moments that you had to deal with in there, people complaining about broccoli - that was one, but you seemed to move past that?" Patsy shook her head as she refused to say anything. Will asked: "You don't want to talk about the broccoli?" While Patsy remained silent, AJ added: "Did it upset you that Mickey complained to your face about the food?" She still didn't seem impressed as she responded: "Not really that...," before the hosts agreed to move on from Mickey chat. Hitting back at viewers, Patsy wrote on social media: "There's nothing awkward about silence. It says it all!"

Anthony said: "I've been watching Clarkson's Farm and I can't believe he's going to be my neighbour now, it's just crazy. "At 25 I hadn't even considered owning so much as a garden shed yet, but now my first property is a £5 million house - it's so surreal." The jackpot winner, who lives in Cambridgeshire, bought his ticket for just £25. And, he only started entering the Omaze draws last month. Anthony has been working as a deckhand on yachts for the past year. He added: "I was backpacking in Spain when Omaze got in touch to tell me I'd won something. "I didn't have any credit on my phone, so I didn't see any of the missed calls or emails at first, but when I eventually topped up and saw all the messages, I started to think I might have won something pretty decent. "When Omaze actually called me to say I'd won the £5 million house in the Cotswolds, I was stunned. "This is my first time in the Cotswolds and I can see what all the fuss is about, it's beautiful around here," said Anthony. "The house is stunning, the walk-in fridge is bigger than my current kitchen… and that's just the fridge. "Everything has been done so nicely, I love it. I'm looking forward to diving into the pool and hosting all my friends and family in such an amazing house. "I've been working as a deckhand on yachts for the past year, so I'm more used to sleeping below deck in cramped bunk beds than places like this-I can stand up straight in this place for a start. "We'll be having a huge family Christmas here. There are around twenty of us and I'm normally the one who ends up sleeping on the floor, but now I'm guaranteed a bed as I'll be hosting everyone else for change. "I don't know what I'll do yet, I've got a lot to think about, but this win has changed my life forever-my future is sorted now, whatever I decide to do, it's an incredible feeling."
