A Wexford player in the seaside town of Courtown has won the top prize of €500,000 in last night's EuroMillions Plus draw.
The National Lottery revealed the winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on Thursday, August 7, from Gala Express in Courtown Harbour, Co Wexford.
While there was no winner of the EuroMillions jackpot worth over €197.5m, more than 68,000 players won prizes in the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws.
This includes the Wexford player who won the top prize worth €500,000 in the Plus draw after matching all five numbers.
