The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has welcomed the ongoing Qatari and Egyptian efforts to reach an agreement ending the Zionist enemy's war on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
In a press statement on Sunday evening, the movement affirmed its readiness to immediately engage in indirect negotiations to resolve disputed points, ensuring relief for Palestinians, an end to the humanitarian catastrophe, and ultimately a permanent ceasefire and full withdrawal of enemy forces.
Earlier on Sunday, Egypt and Qatar announced the continuation of their intensive efforts to bridge gaps and overcome sticking points in negotiations for a Gaza ceasefire agreement.

The radio reported that an Israeli military convoy "fell into an ambush with explosive devices, and immediately began an operation to rescue the convoy from the site. Fighter jets and drones of the Israeli Air Force launched intensive raids on the area to secure the rescue operation and evacuate the wounded.
