Simpson turned to her longtime pro and friend Rita Hazan, a celebrity hair colorist and salon owner, for the color switchup, which Hazan calls "more natural". comparing it to "a kid on the beach", reports 'People' magazine.
Describing the hair color itself as "
desert sunset blonde
", Hazan says it took "two hours" to complete.
"The must-have in my kit that I use on all my clients is Glaze's Supergloss. For Jessica, we used the shade Vanilla Lights - her perfect match to tone down brassiness in her highlights", she shared.
"It delivers a rich, shiny payoff, and a silky, polished finish that leaves hair looking refreshed and healthier after just one use".
According to Hazan, Simpson "loved" her new hair color. "She was so happy to get a new look and switch it up", the stylist says. "She always had a super buttery blonde - this time we wanted something new and youthful".
Hazan added that the updated hairdo is perfect for the "With You" singer, who is adjusting to her new normal following her split from Eric Johnson earlier this year.
"I think it's a fresh and young vibe, but with confidence and a slight attitude to represent her mood", Hazan said. "We have been in each other's lives for so many years that there's personal and professional trust".
"Usually I fly in from New York, and we have a hair party in her bathroom with a few of the same people every six weeks", she added. "First, we catch up on life for a quick second, and then continue to laugh and tell very personal stories about what we all got into for the month.

It's actually hysterical. I don't think there was one time I went there and didn't laugh hysterically".

She said, "For me, personally, style evolves as I do on a personal level, through each stage of my life. That's the inspiration for my music right now, 'Nashville Canyon' is an evolution of past, present, future, versatility, femininity, openness and confidence".

"Chris Martin, Dakota Johnson wanted to experience...": Sonali Bendre recalls her Babulnath Temple visit with Coldplay singer, Hollywood actress

New Delhi [India], June 7 (ANI): British band Coldplay's lead vocalist, Chris Martin, came to India earlier this year and surprised his desi fans not only with his soulful concerts but also with his spiritual side. Before his gigs at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on January 18 and 19, Chris, along with Hollywood actress Dakota Johnson, paid a sacred visit to the iconic Babulnath Temple. They were joined by Bollywood star Sonali Bendre and 'Swades' fame actress Gayatri Oberoi. Several images and videos went viral in which Chris, Dakota, Sonali and Gayatri were seen offering prayers. Dakota and Chris, who have now reportedly parted ways, embraced Indian culture with full devotion. Sonali and Gayatri also accompanied Dakota to the iconic Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai back in January. Dressed in traditional attire, the trio appeared to be in high spirits, engaging in a lively conversation as they made their way through the temple grounds. Recalling meeting Chris and Dakota, Sonali in an Interview with ANI, shared, ' She's (Dakota) such a lovely person. It was my yoga teacher who told me that, you know what, somebody is coming in and they want to be taken to a few temples. Will you do this? I'm like, okay, who is it? And that's how I get to know. So I think Chris and her (Dakota) wanted to have a temple experience. And I think that's an experience everybody should have at some point. It was lovely. With her (and Chris), the night before everybody got to know we had visited Babulnath Temple. And then the next day, we visited Siddhivinayak Temple.' Meanwhile, Chris and Dakota recently made headlines with their alleged break-up. A source informed US-based magazine PEOPLE about their split. 'It feels final this time,' one source said of the split. Reps for the stars did not respond to PEOPLE's requests for comment. In March 2024, an insider told PEOPLE that Johnson and Martin had actually been engaged for 'years' after first sparking engagement rumours in 2020, though they were 'in no rush to get married' at the time. When breakup rumors surfaced in August 2024, a rep for the actress shut down the reports and said the pair were 'happily together.' Around the same time, a source said, 'Sure, they've had issues and taken breaks in the past, but things are great now. They both love their careers. They are balancing things the best they can.' Prior to that, a source said in June 2024 that Johnson and Martin, who mostly kept their relationship private, had their 'ups and downs, but now they're definitely back on.' Chris and Dakota have not addressed their separation rumours yet. (ANI)

US Girl, 19, Dies After Trying Viral "Dusting" Challenge. All About This Deadly Social Media Trend

A 19-year-old girl in the US died on Sunday after taking part in a deadly social media trend called "dusting". According to The Independent, Renna O'Rourke from Arizona died after spending four days in the intensive care unit (ICU). Her parents said that she and her boyfriend ordered aerosol keyboard cleaner without their knowledge. After inhaling the keyboard cleaner, the teen went into cardiac arrest, spent a week unconscious in the ICU and then was declared brain dead. "She always said, 'I'm going to be famous, dad. Just you watch. I'm going to be famous,' and unfortunately, this is not under the most optimal of circumstances," the girls' father Aaron O'Rourke, said, per the outlet. "Dusting," also known as "chroming" or "huffing," is a viral trend that involves inhaling common household cleaners to get high for views online. The sensation reportedly causes brief euphoria but can cause instant, fatal damage, often due to heart failure, according to the Cleveland Clinic. According to a GoFundMe page, Renna was pronounced brain dead after purposely breathing in the cleaning spray. "There's no ID required. It's odourless. It's everything kids look for. They can afford it, they can get it, and it doesn't show in mom and dad's drug test," Renna's mother, Dana O'Rourke, said, per People. "She never regained consciousness," her mother added. Renna's parents described their late daughter as "vivacious and caring and loyal." Her father said that the 19-year-old loved to sing and lit up every room with her smile and laughter. Now, the O'Rourke family is working to honour Renna by spreading the word about the dangers of huffing for teens and parents. "Dig deep. Search their rooms. Don't trust - and that sounds horrible, but it could save their life," the mother said. They also started a GoFundMe page to cover the extensive medical bills, burial costs and therapy costs. Renna's father also plans to use the proceeds to spread awareness about the dangers of Huffing/Dusting, the practice of inhaling keyboard cleaner or similar. Notably, this trend has been around for years. In March 2024, an 11-year-old boy from the U.K. died after copying videos he had seen on social media of people sniffing or inhaling toxic substances. Figures cited by CNN also show an increase in the number of teens taking part in this deadly trend. From 2015 to 2022, the number of 12- to 17-year-old American adolescents using inhalants declined from 684,000 in 2015 to 554,000 in 2022, according to the US Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
