'I tried Molly-Mae's summer makeup routine - one product left me mind blown'
Refy makeup is renowned for it's creamy formulas, sunkissed blushes and levelled-up brow products, and I knew if it was good enough for Molly-Mae, I just had to try it.
It's a brand that is constantly cropping up on my TikTok and Instagram with their glossy and sleek videos and with so many celebrities and influencers hailing the products, I knew it was time I tried it out.
However with a naturally oily complexion, I was worried how these cream-based products would last on my skin, especially in the warm weather as I usually have to layer on my setting powder throughout the day to help my makeup last without an oily outbreaks.
Molly Mae regularly shares her makeup tutorial videos, and fans have been left in a chokehold with her glowing summer skin and it's all thanks to REFY's new Summer Sculpt Collection. Her video was just a few minutes long, but she transformed into a bronzed and dewy beauty.
She captioned the post: "The same makeup look for 6 years. Did I achieve a more summery look? @REFY what magic are you putting into your glosses!?" She has previously been vocal about her love for the REFY Cream Bronzer and Cream Blush for years, which are included in the bundle from Jess Hunt's beauty label that is now on sale.
The Summer Sculpt Collection contains all of the products needed for your summer makeup bag and features nine pieces of skincare products to help prep the skin as well as makeup items for the finished look. It includes the dual end Duo Brush, Face Sculpt and Sculpt Primer and all items are full size with the option to select your own shades in the blusher, bronzer and lip gloss.
In her video, Molly can be seen applying the Face Sculpt moisturiser onto her skin, followed by the Glow and Sculpt Primer, which is fitted with a sculpting facial roller that is in essence a gua sha to help reduce any puffiness, and stimulate blood flow. So, I did the same - and I was very impressed with how glowy my skin instantly became.
The applicator of the moisturiser meant my skin had a mini massage as I applied it which was a nice sensation, however I did end up rubbing it in with my fingers in the end as I felt it hadn't properly covered my whole face. One thing I always worry about with a hydrating formula is whether or not it will sink into my skin, as I am oily sometimes it doesn't mix well with my makeup, but this wasn't the case with these two products.
Molly then applied her MAC foundation, so I applied my own foundation - I opt for NARS natural radiant longwear, and then copied Molly by then applying the cream bronzer. I used the Duo brush, which is a product the influencer said she "struggles to live without" and I can see why.
It seamlessly applied the Cream Bronzer in shade tan to my cheekbones, and I was a little worried at first it was a bit orange, but it blended out very well. There were no patches or clumps - something I tend to get with a powder contour or bronzer and it enhanced my cheekbones well.
I then applied REFY's Cream Blush in shade Malaya, which Molly called one of her "absolute favourites" and dabbed it onto the apples of my cheeks with the other end of the brush, as well as my nose to give a natural sun-kissed look. It's clear my skin was already glowing, and a far cry from the ultra-matte look I usually opt for, but I really liked it.
However it didn't stop there, as I then applied some Gloss Highlighter in the shade Topaz to the top of my cheekbones and nose, which ehanced the glow even more. I usually never go for a cream highlight, and I was absolutely stunned by how it changed my face. It gave me such a natural yet dewy finish and I feel like my makeup will never look the same now without it.
I always usually sway away from any type of product that is creamy and shimmery and I am definitely now converted to a huge fan - so thank you Molly Mae. I then moved onto my brows and used the Refy Brow Pencil in Dark - this isn't included in the Summer Sculpt, but if you are after a good brow pencil I would recommend.
I then finished and set my brows with the Refy Brow Sculpt which is like a gel to keep my unruly hairs in place and then picked up the Lash Sculpt lengthening mascara. This is another product Molly gushed about as she said: "It's such a good mascara it literally doesn't miss a single lash. I didn't put on much, but if I layered up they would have gone mental."
The unique shape of the wand means even the smaller corner lashes are coated evenly, however I felt as if I had to go over my lashes with another of my mascaras to give a fuller lash look. But for those who prefer a more natural looking eye this would be ideal. To finish off I lined my lips with the Lip Sculpt Liner in shade Fawn and a coating of the Lip Gloss in shade Topaz. I liked the shades of both of these, however the gloss is very sticky once applied.
It's safe to say I am truly obsessed with these products, and after being worried about my oily skin, it lasted all day and I didn't feel sticky or oily much to my surprise. I wore it for the whole day and only applied powder twice - which for me is a real result. I feel like I would struggle to wear this makeup with anything other than a foundation as the brozers are quite orange and would look too much without.
While it is quite pricey for the full kit, it really does contain everything you need for a perfect sun-kissed look. I am now a huge fan of REFY thanks to Molly Mae, and I feel like I too look like I've just stepped off the plane from Dubai thanks to the glowy products.
The Summer Sculpt Collection is worth £184, but retails for £140, which is a saving of £44 exclusively available from REFY.

Emily Ratajkowski shares her raciest photos yet as she STRIPS DOWN to string bikinis on summer vacation
left little to the imagination in a tiny bikini while enjoying a European summer getaway over the weekend. On Saturday, the model, 34, took to Instagram to share several photos and videos of herself frolicking around Italy in a barely-there bikini top and cheeky bottoms. She shared a sultry snapshot of her backside in an animal-print thong while standing on the edge of an infinity pool with the iconic view of the colorful houses in Positano in the background. On her Instagram Story, she also kept her 29 million followers tuned in as she documented herself partying on a yacht in skimpy swimsuits with her friends. She also included snapshots of herself partaking in wholesome activities, such as collecting colorful stones on the beach with her four-year-old son Sylvester Apollo Bear, whom she shares with her ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard. The Gone Girl actress — who flaunted her fit physique in a plunging, thong one-piece swimsuit during a boating excursion just one day earlier — showed off her adventures while taking care of her son as she wined and dined with close friends throughout the vibrant city. In one adorable snapshot in her photo album, her son was seen sleeping on a pile of towels. He appeared to be snoozing peacefully after presumably snorkeling with his mom as Ratajkowski can be seen sitting next to him and a pair of goggles placed on the table. The model also included a photo of Positano at night, lit up by lights, as well as a candid portrait of her friends and their kids. She posted photos of the extravagant seafood meals she enjoyed while on vacation. Ratajkowski also posted a clip of scantily-clad self in a bikini as she jumped off a boat and into the ocean, where her friend and her son were swimming. Her son Sly was also at her side while sunbathing at the beach, at one point, as seen in another photo of her son sitting in her lap as she laid on a chaise. She included a snapshot of her friend pouring a glass of white wine on a patio with a view as well as a picture of her backside while on another yachting excursion. She posted photos of her son's spaghetti alongside a plate of grilled fish and another short clip of her diving into the ocean in synchronization.

Celeb hairdresser issues stern sunburn warning over popular sunscreen hack
Tess Daly and Emily Blunt's stylist Phil Smith says the TikTok hack for spritzing your scalp with watered down SPF can only lead to disaster Another heatwave looms which means dips in the pool, frolicking in the sea and the sun's rays beating down on your hair. Meanwhile, people are jetting off to sunny resorts where they can top up their tan and cool off in either the hotel's swimming pools or in some crystal waters on a foreign beach. But while sun, sea and swimming pool s are the best bits of summer - they might be the worst for our hair. Celebrity hairdresser Phil Smith, who has looked after Tess Daly and Emily Blunt's hair, says he always sees a surge in clients arriving at his salon worrying about frizzing, colour fade and frazzled scalps at this time of year. However, there's no need to let your tresses go fully feral with his expert insights and surprising hacks. 'Maintaining effortless, healthy hair all summer can be a challenge - but with the right tips, tricks and products, you can protect your locks without compromising on style and quality,' he says. Don't fall for TikTok hair sunscreen hacks We've all experienced that sting in the shower after a day at the beach - the telltale sign of a sunburned scalp. But avoiding a pink parting isn't always as easy as it sounds. 'I've seen people on TikTok suggest mixing sunscreen with water in a spray bottle to mist over the scalp,' says Phil. 'Unfortunately, this just dilutes the SPF, making it far less protective. And it's a big no no if you have hair extensions too. 'If the sunscreen contains ingredients like avobenzone, it can leave rust-like stains on them,' he adds. Instead, a smarter approach is to choose a hairstyle that eliminates your parting altogether. 'Slicking your hair back into a ponytail is one option, but that can be a bit harsh and doesn't suit everyone. I recommend going for a topknot or a couple of soft buns instead. Just leave a few loose strands out for a softer, more effortless look - it's protective and super cute.' Use ketchup to boost blonde tones It's particularly tough being a blonde in summer, when colour can be left brassy and battered by pollution and UV exposure - or even go green after contact with chlorine. 'One hair hack I particularly love, because it shocks people that it works, is using tomato ketchup to reverse green tinges,' says Phil. 'Apply a tablespoon to lengths and wait up to 30 minutes before rinsing. The acid in the tomatoes and vinegar break down the copper build-up that causes the discolouration, restoring the blonde tones you love. If you prefer results in seconds rather than smelling like you belong in a burger for half an hour, when you get back from your sunshine break, he suggests grabbing a bottle of Phil Smith Professional Haircare Blonde Toning Shampoo (£14 each; ), which uses amino acid rich violet rice extract to have you back to your 'natural' colour in the time it takes to shampoo and rinse.' Shower before the pool to protect against chlorine There's nothing better than diving into a cool pool on a hot day, but chlorinated water can leave hair dry, brittle and weak. The good news? A little prep goes a long way. 'Our hair is porous, but it can only absorb so much water at once,' says Phil. 'If you want to limit how much chlorine your hair soaks up, wet your hair with fresh water before swimming. "Take a quick shower or, if you're at the beach, keep a refillable bottle of tap water handy so you can rinse before taking the plunge.' Phil also advises against swimming with your hair down. 'I always tell my clients to apply a leave-in conditioner and then tie hair up in a bun to shield it,' he says. Use the right towel on damp locks Wet hair is much weaker and more prone to breakage than dry strands, so how you care for it after a swim is just as crucial as before. 'Keep a soft microfibre towel like the Dock & Bay Hair Wrap (£15; in your beach bag so you aren't tempted to rough dry with an abrasive beach towel, which will damage the cuticle and leave you with a halo of frizz,' says Phil. If you want to comb out knots post-swim, he advises buying a wet brush. 'The MDLondon Vent Brush (£13; is perfect,' says Phil. 'Start detangling from the ends and work upwards to avoid breakage and minimise discomfort. Add a pump of Phil Smith Professional Haircare Miracle Primer (£14; at the same time, with hyaluronic acid to fight humidity-induced frizz and plant-based hemisqualane to smooth and detangle. Get your roots done once you've returned home Everyone wants their hair to look amazing in their holiday photos, but if your sunshine getaway happens to fall around the time you're due to see your colourist, it might be worth delaying that appointment. 'UV rays break down dye pigment molecules, so when you're on a sun-soaked holiday it's almost impossible to avoid fading and dullness - unless you spend the entire trip under a giant hat,' says Phil. 'While no one wants to skip a root touch-up to cover greys, if you can, I recommend stretching the time between appointments and scheduling your session for after you return home. Getting your hair professionally coloured is an investment - this way, your colour stays fresher for longer and you avoid paying for salon results that can't last.'
