THE CHIC LIST: Why I'll never stop tuning in to Carrie Bradshaw's wardrobe
The latest series of And Just Like That... is winning me over. Kristin Davis, who plays Charlotte, has had her much ridiculed facial fillers removed and the annoying characters, including Miranda's comedian partner Che, have thankfully departed.
You won't be surprised to hear I'm mostly tuning in to check out the wardrobe but I'm also lusting after Carrie's new brownstone address, which, with its high ceilings and old winding staircase, has similar design features to a Victorian London townhouse. Turning over a new leaf, this home marks a fresh beginning in Carrie's life. The $5 million address in real life is 3 Gramercy Park West and interiors lovers are treated to lots of scrumptious shots of wooden floors, decorative friezes and ornate plasterwork.
Wardrobe-wise, Carrie is as maximalist as ever and, alongside Charlotte and Miranda, the series continues to deliver viral fashion moments with gusto (see the enormous gingham hat sported by Carrie in episode one), while advancing the style evolution of our favourite trio. Miranda now favours quiet luxury (a Max Mara olive green jumpsuit and Loro Piana checked coat, for instance) and Charlotte is staying true to her Upper East Side preppy look in pussy-bow blouses, pencil skirts and florals.
Costume designers Molly Rogers and Danny Santiago continue to helm the show's closet, having worked alongside Patricia Field on Sex And The City. On approaching the styling for And Just Like That... Rogers said, 'The girls were so excited to be back, like we never left. It was the same atmosphere, the same energy. They loved to look through the racks and pull things out and we'd all look in the mirror with the same critical eye and say, 'That needs to be shorter,' or 'That's not flattering...' We did a vote. It was really collaborative and fun.'
The show is as inspiring as ever for fashion fans, with some wearable contemporary outfits that are still available to buy and some outlandish vintage pieces. Apparently, Rogers and Santiago found lots of the characters' preloved handbags on the Fashionphile website. A vintage Birkin speaks louder than words, darlings.

HOT TO TROT
Brooches are well and truly back and are a sleek way to elevate a blazer. There are plenty to choose from on the high street but this equestrian-inspired one by Greek brand Ysso caught my eye.

SPOTTED
With its airy boho vibes, Californian brand Dôen is having a very good summer. Actress Camila Morrone (right) looked stunning stepping out for refreshments in its Simona dress. She paired it with a Coach bag and boots for some yeehaw energy. Taylor Swift also recently wore one of its dresses.
AND SO (NOT) TO BED
Channel the carefree style of Dôen with British nightwear brand If Only If. Its wafty nightwear is perfect for lazy summer days and is too pretty to save for bedtime.

Shane Gillis shocks ESPYs crowd with joke on Jeffrey Epstein and Donald Trump
Shane Gillis made a jab at Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein during his opening monologue at the 2025 ESPYs on Wednesday (16 July). The comedian kicked off his hosting duties at the sporting awards with a scathing reference to the Department of Justice 's recent statement that there was 'no evidence' of a Jeffrey Epstein client list. He told a joke about the White House 's newly announced UFC fights on its ground, before stating: 'There was supposed to be an Epstein joke here but it must have got deleted.' 'Must have probably deleted itself. Probably never existed actually. Let's move on as a country and ignore that,' he said, appearing to reference Attorney General Pam Bondi earlier this year saying that the file was 'on her desk'.

ESPN Deportes interpreter refuses to translate Shane Gillis's joke about Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson
Comedian Shane Gillis' monologue at the ESPY Awards has drawn both praise and criticism from Wednesday's audience, but the biggest response may have been a moment of stunned silence from ESPN Deportes' translator. As revealed by Jason Krump, a sportswriter and contributor to Washington State 's athletics website, the interpreter abruptly halted his translation of Gillis' joke about North Carolina football coach Bill Belichick and his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson. After joking about the $17 million fraud and gambling scheme that led to the arrest, conviction and imprisonment of Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani's interpreter, Gillis then turned his attention to the former New England Patriots head coach. 'A bookie is what Bill Belichick reads to his girlfriend before bedtime,' Gillis said, transitioning from a gambling bit. 'They read, 'Very horny caterpillar,' 'The Little Engine That Could But Needed A Pill First,' and of course, the classic, 'Good Night Boobs.' 'Also, I'm not trashing Bill Belichick,' he continued. 'He is 73 years old and dating a hot 24-year-old. People are criticizing him. 'What happened to this country? We used to be a great country. He won six Super Bowls. He's dating a hot 24-year-old. Maybe if you guys won six Super Bowls you wouldn't be sitting next to a fat ugly dog wife.' It was at this point that the ESPN Deportes' translator ceased with his interpretation, as heard in the clip shared by Krump. The audience at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles was nearly as quiet as the interpreter, prompting Gillis to pass the blame onto ESPN's parent company. 'They let me do it. This is Disney. They allowed that,' Gillis laughed. 'Yeah, we should've taken that out. I had doubts going into that. That didn't work all week.' Daily Mail has reached out to ESPN spokespeople for comment. Belichick's girlfriend also caught some shrapnel from 53-year-old rapper, Snoop Dogg. 'I've been a football fan for a long, long time,' the California man born Calvin Broadus Jr. told the ESPY audience. 'I remember back when the Cowboys were good. I remember back when the Chiefs were bad. And I remember, what was it, Bill Belichick's girlfriend wasn't even born yet.'
