Apart from Rana Daggubati, Baahubali featured an ensemble cast including Prabhas, Sathyaraj, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan and Nassar.
Baahubali, the SS Rajamouli directorial, is undoubtedly among one of the greatest films ever made in the history of the Indian film industry. Recently, it marked a significant milestone as it completed its 10th year. It successfully blended mythological storytelling with high-quality visual effects and action sequences, captivating audiences both in India and internationally.
Now, as the film gears up for its re-release, scheduled in October 2025, actor Rana Daggubati, who played the negative role of Bhallaldeva, responded to a question about what if Kattappa didn't kill Baahubali? And his answer is exactly what we all expected.
Taking to X, Rana responded to the question from Baahubali's official account and replied, 'I would have killed him instead."
I would have killed him instead
Apart from Rana, the film featured an ensemble cast including Prabhas, Sathyaraj, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan and Nassar.
The film is set to re-release on the big screens on October 31. But there's a catch. It will be arriving as a single part comprising scenes of both Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.
The single-part re-release has been titled Baahubali: The Epic. According to some rumours, the film will have a duration of 3 hours and 50 minutes, but speculation suggests it could be longer.
Baahubali follows the epic story of Amarendra Baahubali, a brave and compassionate prince of the fictional kingdom of Mahishmati, and his son Mahendra Baahubali, as they fight against injustice and tyranny to reclaim their rightful place on the throne. The narrative spans generations, exploring themes of loyalty, betrayal and the clash between good and evil within a kingdom built on power and intrigue.
Recently, the team of Baahubali, including director SS Rajamouli, actors Prabhas and Rana Daggubati, along with Sathyaraj and other core team members reunited in Hyderabad to celebrate the film's 10th anniversary. Music composer MM Keeravani, who recently lost his father, was also seen joining the emotional get-together.
Baahubali: The Conclusion, released in 2017, went on to become one of the most successful Indian films of all time. Coming back to Rana Daggubati, he was recently seen in the web series Rana Naidu Season 2, which premiered on the OTT giant Netflix.

‘Superman' box office collections day 7: James Gunn's film sees modest hold; Rs 35.62 cr nett in week 1

(Picture Courtesy: Facebook) The iconic cape continues to soar as 'Superman' (3D) wraps up its first week at the Indian box office with a total collection of Rs 35.62 crore (nett). According to the Sacnilk website, despite a steep Monday drop, the film recovered slightly midweek and held steady on Thursday, bringing in Rs 2 crore on day 7 across all languages. The film stars David Corenswet in his debut as the Man of Steel and has been dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu alongside the English release. While the initial weekend saw great enthusiasm, especially in metros, occupancy rates have since evened out. Weekend momentum vs weekday realities After an impressive opening at Rs 7.25 crore on Friday, 'Superman' (3D) surged on Saturday with Rs 9.5 crore and held strong Sunday at Rs 9.25 crore. However, Monday brought a dramatic fall—just Rs 2.6 crore—showing the typical weekday slowdown. Encouragingly, Tuesday brought a mild bounce back with Rs 3 crore, but Wednesday and Thursday hovered around the Rs 2 crore mark each. Occupancy patterns reflect mixed buzz On Day 7, the film had a 9.99% occupancy in English (3D) screens. It had the highest traction during night shows (13.13%). Mumbai, NCR, and Hyderabad led in turnout, with overall citywise occupancy staying close to or just below 10%. Superman The Immigrant? James Gunn's Bold Take On Hero's Identity Sets Fans Off In A Fiery Debate Tamil-dubbed shows saw a surprising 13.53% occupancy overall, especially strong during afternoon and night slots, signaling a growing Southern fanbase for DC titles. Hindi versions, however, struggled, posting single-digit occupancy in both 2D and 3D formats. Flying forward: Week 2 holds the key As the film steps into its second weekend, 'Superman' (3D) faces competition from regional releases and action-packed Indian films. An excerot from ETimes review for the film read, "Superman is entertaining, enjoyable, even epic but never intense. James Gunn's non-origin story soars high visually but stays limited emotionally. The director's unyielding need to go traditional comes at a cost. It is still a tremendous cinematic experience that deserves to be watched in IMAX. " With Rs 35.62 crore collected so far, its fate now hinges on holding power beyond the core fanbase. Whether Kal-El's new chapter becomes a long-lasting hit will be determined in the days to come.

Malaika Arora Stuns In A Bold Black-And-White Bralette On Her Italian Vacay With Son

Last Updated: Malaika Arora stuns in Tuscany with sexy outfits, vineyard strolls and bonding time with son Arhaan. If you needed a reminder to book that Italian escape, Malaika Arora just dropped one and it's hot. The diva is currently soaking up the sun and slow life in Tuscany, and her latest Instagram dump is all about easy glam, scenic vineyards, and heartfelt bonding with son Arhaan Khan. In the pictures, Malaika oozes effortless sexiness in a monochrome strapless bralette and cap, her sun-kissed skin glowing against the backdrop of Tuscany's rolling hills. The look is bold, summery, and exactly the kind of energy you want to carry into your next holiday. Another picture shows her posing with Arhaan as the golden hour bathes them in warmth — she looks like a goddess in a ruched ivory bodycon dress with a delicate rosette detail, while Arhaan keeps it cool in a brown suede jacket. A third photo is pure Tuscan indulgence — a tray of tomato-loaded focaccia held up to the camera, perfectly crispy and rustic, just like the vibe of this mother-son vacation. She captioned the carousel, 'Leafy roads, vineyard stops, clean air, quality time with my son and zero complaints. Tuscany, you win.🍇🍃" View this post on Instagram A post shared by Malaika Arora (@malaikaaroraofficial) It's a slice of life that's romantic, wholesome and aspirational all at once. Malaika, known for turning heads wherever she goes, proves yet again that sexy doesn't always mean high heels and red carpets — sometimes, it's about linen outfits, sun-drenched adventures, and meaningful moments. Interestingly, just a few weeks ago on June 26, Malaika made headlines for wishing ex-boyfriend Arjun Kapoor a happy birthday. She posted a sweet, candid boomerang of him on her Instagram Stories, captioned simply: 'Happy Birthday." In the video, Arjun wore a relaxed white shirt and black pants, smiling easily for the camera. The two dated for nearly six years before parting ways in 2023. Arjun had confirmed the breakup during promotions for Singham Again, telling fans, 'Nahi nahi abhi single hun, relax karo," when asked about Malaika. Despite the split, Malaika seems to be thriving — living, loving, and serving up glam goals with zero regrets. Tuscany might've won, but we're pretty sure Malaika's winning too.
