WWE Evolution 2025 (July 13, 2025) Results: Tiffany Stratton scores big win over Trish Stratus to retain her Women's title
WWE Evolution 2025 played host to one of the biggest generational clash between two top
WWE
superstars. Tiffany Stratton got the opportunity to defend her WWE Women's Championship against her mentor and one of the greatest women to step in the ring, Trish Stratus in a huge showdown.
Following a highly spectacular bout, it was The Center of the Universe who had her hand held in victory and score, perhaps, the biggest win of her career so far.
Tiffany Stratton & Trish Stratus stole the show at WWE Evolution 2025
Trish Stratus walked into the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, wearing a white and gold gear that paid homage to the WWE Women's title of her era. Tiffany Stratton came in red gear to prove her supremacy over the WWE Hall of Famer. The duo locked up and delivered back-and-forth moves against each other.
The WWE Hall of Famer delivered some impressive chops against Tiffy Time with the crowd chanting, 'You still got it.' It was indeed true as Trish did not hold back from executing power-packed, high-flying moves on Tiffany Stratton. However, the current WWE Women's Champion came back with equal fury and strength to combat the seven-time champion. Moreover, the fans erupted in huge 'This is Awesome' chants for the match.

As the match inched towards its final moments, Trish Stratus hit Tiffany Stratton with the Stratusfaction, but she still managed to kick out of the pinfall. In a turn of events, Stratton gained the upper hand when she stopped a moonsault attempt from Stratus. This led to Stratton planting her on the mat and followed it up with The Prettiest Moonsault Ever to pin her and score the big win.
This marked another big victory in the rising career of Tiffany Stratton this year, the last being against Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 41. However, for Trish Stratus, it was disappointing, which was evident from her expressions after the match. Yet, the fans loudly cheered for her, and she got on the top rope to pose for them to show her appreciation. With The Center of the Universe beating a legend like Stratus, it will be interesting to see what is next for her.

From Rocky III to Mr Nanny: Hulk Hogan's wild ride through pop culture
The great wrestler Hulk Hogan has passed away at 71 years; his reach was far beyond the ring. With his distinctive voice, signature moustache, and an eye-popping red-and-yellow outfit, he is a truly recognizable figure in the entertainment world. His on-screen characters contributed to some pop culture phenomenon called Hulkamania. Rocky III debut introduced Hulk Hogan to global audiences Hogan made his film debut in 'Rocky III' which was in 1982, playing flamboyant wrestler Thunderlips along with Sylvester Stallone. The role was brief but impactful. Stallone later revealed that Hogan's intensity during filming led to multiple stunt injuries. In 'No Holds Barred' of 1989, Hogan played Rip, a heroic wrestler battling the villainous Zeus. Though the film received poor reviews, it became a cult favourite and even influenced WWE storylines. Suburban Commando and Mr Nanny expanded Hogan's fan base Hogan transitioned to family-friendly comedies in the early '90s. In 'Suburban Commando,' he portrayed an alien warrior stranded in suburbia. In 'Mr Nanny,' he played a tough babysitter while dealing with rebellious children. These roles helped him connect with the younger audiences. Often labelled one of the worst holiday films ever made, 'Santa With Muscles' of the year 1996 featured Hogan as a millionaire who believes he is a Santa Claus. Its absurd premise eventually earned it cult status. Hogan starred in 'Thunder in Paradise' of the year 1994, a syndicated series about ex-Navy SEALs and a high-tech boat. The show blended tropical visuals with B-movie storytelling and was tailored to Hogan's persona. Cameos and voice roles cemented Hogan's pop culture appeal Hogan made self-aware appearances in 'Gremlins 2,' 'Spy Hard' and 'Muppets from Space.' He also voiced himself in animated shows like 'Robot Chicken' and 'American Dad!,' embracing his larger-than-life image. Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n' Wrestling and Hogan Knows Best expanded his reach In 1985, Hogan popularized the cartoon Hulk Hogan's 'Rock 'n' Wrestling,' introducing his character to the young viewers of the generation.
