TV couple Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty announce separation
They wed in September 2012 at a ceremony in Rome and have two children together.
They said in a joint statement to the PA news agency: 'We have taken the decision to end our marriage and are now separated. There is no other party involved.
'We will continue to be united as loving parents to our children and would therefore kindly ask for our family privacy to be respected.
'There will be no further comment.'
Deeley, 48, has hosted ITV's This Morning alongside Ben Shephard since early last year, and previously lived in Los Angeles for more than 10 years.
She hosted the US series So You Think You Can Dance, also appearing on SM:TV Live with TV duo Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly from 1998 to 2002.
She also previously co-hosted BBC singing contest Fame Academy, alongside Kielty, and took over ITV's Stars In Their Eyes from Matthew Kelly.
Northern Irish presenter Kielty, 54, is the host of RTE talk show The Late Late Show, having taken over from Ryan Tubridy in 2023.
He made his feature film debut the year prior when he starred as a budding comedian going through a marriage break-up in Ballywalter, a movie that takes its title from the Northern Irish town in County Down.
The comedian and presenter began his stand-up career as host of Northern Ireland's first comedy club, The Empire Laughs Back, in pre-ceasefire Belfast and graduated to presenting programmes such as Channel 4's Last Chance Lottery and BBC One chat show Patrick Kielty Almost Live.
He also presented the documentary My Dad, The Peace Deal And Me, about his father's death at the hands of paramilitary gunmen.
Kielty and Deeley's first child, a son called Milo, was born in 2016 and their second son, James, was born in 2018.

Destination X viewers have been left baffled at how long it took the contestants to guess the Sound of Music clues during the episode. Episode four of Rob Brydon's new BBC reality show, which has been tipped as Race Across the World meets The Traitors saw our group of geographical voyagers shepherded from Munich into Austria. The goal of the game is for the players to figure out where on earth they are by picking up on the clues dropped through various games, and the look of the area around them. Ultimately, the person to guess the furthest location from where they truly are by the end of the episode is booted out of the coach. As they drove through the beautiful landscapes, they stopped off at a castle where they listened to music from artists linked to the final destination, like Mozart, alongside other hints to guide them towards the right location. Eventually, they ended up in the famed hills used in The Sound of Music when Julie Andrews sings 'Do Re Mi' – one of the most memorable sequences in cinematic history. Here they had to complete a task where each group had to answer questions based on what they had seen so far, while two people are played the iconic (if not slightly distorted) song in headphones. One contestant, London cab driver Daren Parr took a while to come to the conclusion many viewers had already come to, at one pointing calling the noises 'nonsense'. And he wasn't the only one to take quite a while to put two and two together about the musical, which is filmed in Salzburg and the location. 'It's been on every Christmas since I was a child in the 90's! Surely they've seen the Sound of Music,' MishyMoo wrote on X. 'Wow have these people not seen the sound of music.. shocking,' olslola said. 'Are they deliberately being thick? It's quite blatantly The Sound of Music lyrics,' j11_lee added. 'Bad enough doesn't know what horseshoes are, or tally marks.. Unforgivable never seen Sound of Music…,' Emma Litson agreed. 'What?! Are you seriously telling me that none of these contestants have seen The Sound of Music which is on every Christmas! Julie Andrews would be horrified!' Matthew Chapman echoed. The clues haven't always been so straightforward, however. In one episode, they had giant red balls which were ultimately meant to represent cherries which one user Matthew Rimmer called 'Masked Singer-level obscure clue'. More Trending Dr Tim Galsworthy agreed to the general sentiment, adding: 'The clues in Destination X are ridiculous. They're either like 'here's a sign saying Munich' or 'here's a man in an orange top and orange was the third favourite colour in Bavaria in 1977'.' Nevertheless, the show seems to be growing on the general public but whether it stands the test of time remains to be seen. They gathered at the beach, where an assortment of jigsaw pieces and treasure chests awaited them. "Today's challenge is a jigsaw puzzle, which doesn't sound that difficult, except the pieces are floating out at sea," presenter Stephen revealed. The contestants were required to collaborate in completing the puzzle. Upon completion, the assembled jigsaw would unveil a clue to assist them in unlocking a chest. Destination X viewers left frustrated as contestants miss 'obvious' clue
Destination X viewers reacted to scenes on tonight's episode that saw some of the contestants struggling to decipher clues that referenced a well-known musical on the BBC show Some viewers shared their surprise during the latest episode of Destination X as two contestants struggled to decipher clues provided by host Rob Brydon. Fans reacted on social media to the scene that aired earlier this evening. The BBC show, which sees contestants tasked with guessing their location as they tour Europe, continued tonight with its fourth episode. The group had to figure out that they were now in Austria, with them given various clues throughout, which included several references to the Sound of Music. Lyrics from songs featured in the musical were given during a challenge on a hillside towards the end of the episode. It saw the eight contestants split into two teams, with Daren and Chloe-Anne designated as the team captains. The other three contestants in each team were faced with three questions as they worked their way up to their team captains, who were stood at the top of the hill. Each correct answer would provide the team captain with an audio clue, whilst wrong answers would lead to red herrings instead. Both teams answered the first question correctly, but Daren and Chloe-Anne, who were wearing headphones, were left confused by the clue provided. Destination X host Rob gave to them as the first clue: "To yieu and yieu and yieu". Neither of them realised that he was speaking a lyric from the song So Long, Farewell. Daren said: "I'm lost at what it means." Chloe-Anne said in her own confessional: "This is like nonsense. How am I gonna remember nonsense?" The second clue, given to both team captains after their teammates answered another question correctly, was instead a reference to the song Do-Re-Mi. Rob was heard saying through their headphones: "Mi fa so. La ti do." Chloe-Anne reacted to the audio: "I thought it sounded Italian." Whilst rival Daren was similarly confused over the clue, with him saying in his confessional afterwards: "Again, it's just all jumble-bumble. I don't know what it means." The third clue wasn't given to Chloe-Anne as her team incorrectly answered the last question. Daren however was played audio of Rob saying: "Doe add ear. Doe add ear." The contestant reacted: "Now it's all starting to clump together, isn't it?" He added: "It's obviously the Sound of Music, innit?" Once reunited with his teammates, Daren shared with them that he was certain the clues were referencing the Sound of Music. Chloe-Anne however didn't do the same whilst speaking to her teammates following the challenge. During the game, some viewers shared their surprise that the contestants had struggled to recognise the references. One person wrote on X: "IT'S NOT NONSENSE IT'S SOUND IF MUSIC LYRICS WHY DO THEY NOT KNOW THIS?" Beside a laughing emoji, someone replied: "I'M SHOUTING AT THE TV TOO." Another viewer said: "Are they deliberately being thick? It's quite blatantly The Sound of Music lyrics." Someone wrote at one point: "It's a song in The Sound of Music." One fan said: "Italian? Have they never seen The Sound of Music?" Sharing their thoughts, another viewer reacted to the scenes: "I'm so offended they haven't clocked the lyrics of Doe A Deer."
