Denise Welch fans left baffled as she adopts bizarre new accent on US talk show

Loose Women star Denise Welch appeared on Watch What Happens Live! with Andy Cohen where she debuted a brand-new 'transatlantic accent'
Denise Welch has left fans baffled after she unveiled a brand-new accent while being interviewed on a US talkshow. The Loose Women panellist appeared on Watch What Happens Live! with Andy Cohen where she debuted her seemingly new accent.

The TV star, 67, has been accused of making her accent 'non-binary' and 'more posh' by fans on X who have commented on the now viral clip of Denise, 67, sharing her support for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after revealing what she really thinks of Taylor Swift.

In the clip, Denise was asked what the UK's general opinion is on Harry and Meghan as it stands today. In response, Denise insisted that she is the only panelist on Loose Women who supports and likes the former Royals - but it was were new dulcet tones that got viewers talking rather than her thoughts on the couple.

"Well, I have a very different view to a lot of people. On the show that I do at home, called Loose Women, I'm the only one who flies the Prince Harry and Meghan flag and I know them. I've met a few of the Royals over the years but I have never met them.
"I just think that the amount of bullying by the press, both British and American, that that woman gets.... Remember she was in those rooms as a young black American woman. She had a big voice in Unicef and in the United Nations and she was in a lot of those big rooms before Harry was.

"I just kind of try to fly the flag a bit. You've got to remember that this is a boy who was forced at 12-years-old to walk behind his mother's coffin. His dad had been unfaithful and he grew up in that world. I think for him to want to say his piece is something quite admirable."
After speaking with Andy Cohen, social media users pointed out Denise's sudden change in accent. Taking to X, one wrote: "So why has Denise completely changed her accent? She sounds so much more posh. Trying to impress I see." Another questioned: "What happened to her accent? WTF."

"I can't get over Denise's new non-binary accent. Her diversity. We've lost her to the states I fear," another joked. Someone else echoed: "She has a transatlantic accent." And another mocked: "I thought this was AI."
Elsewhere in the interview, the TV star didn't hold back as she shared her thoughts on her son Matty Healy's brief romance with Taylor Swift. Denise was asked about her famous son Matty who is the lead singer of The 1975.

Denise was immediately asked about his relationship with Taylor, and specifically, what she thought about the pop star's Tortured Poets Department album. Taylor, who is dating Travis Kelce, is known to write songs about her high-profile relationships and fans dissected the album to figure out which tracks were written about Matty.
Denise seemingly claimed Taylor's fans hit out at any person who dares to criticise the 35-year-old pop star. When Andy asked what she thought of the hit album, Denise said: "Obviously, on pain of death can I talk about that episode, but not being her mother-in-law is a role that I am glad that I lost."
The straightforward comment shocked everyone in the room, including Andy. She quickly tried to calm things down as she added: "Not that I have anything against her at all! It was just - it was tricky."
She then suggested it's difficult to comment on anything to do with Taylor, as her fans would negatively react to it. "She - listen, you're not allowed to say anything, and then she writes a whole album about it," Denise explained.
Denise said that Matty has taken the album's personal tracks 'all in completely good grace,' and added: "He's very happy with his amazing fiancée Gabriella," referring to singer Gabbriette. "So we've moved on," the ITV presenter said.

Pamela Anderson says she was 'nervous' to meet Liam Neeson amid romance rumours

Pamela Anderson has admitted to being 'nervous' to meet Liam Neeson on the set of The Naked Gun but he has revealed how the unique way she created 'chemistry' between them Pamela Anderson has admitted that she was 'very nervous' to meet Liam Neeson on set of The Naked Gun. ‌ The Baywatch legend, 58, has had a major career revival in recent years and recently enjoyed a star turn in The Last Showgirl but now she is back on-screen alongside fellow A-lister Liam in the upcoming action comedy, admitted amid romance rumours that she had assumed he was 'very scary' before they actually worked together. ‌ During an appearance on Monday's Loose Women in a pre-recorded segment with panelist GK Barry, she explained: "Your nerves are always going before you meet an entire crew and everybody all at once but especially meeting Liam. It was really scary, because he's so scary. He's had an amazing career and I feel like I'm just starting so I felt a little insecure. But then the butterflies went away and there you are." ‌ But in the end, Pamela and Liam were able to bond simply by spending 'so much time' together during production, and insisted that there was a "a kind of natural chemistry that happened, I don't know if it always happens but we were lucky". Liam revealed that his co-star would often bake for him, as he explained during the joint interview: "Pamela is a fantastic cook, she's a baker, and she, very sweetly, numerous times made me some sourdough bread." However, GK stopped the interview momentarily to note her surprise at the model's self-conscious nature as she reminded her: "You are Pamela Anderson...". But the actress was quick to note that she isn't fond of hearing her full moniker, as she claimed: "I don't like that name. Every time I hear that name I sometimes, it just sounds funny." ‌ Pamela, who was famously married to Motley Crue rocker Tommy Lee in the 1990s and has sons Brandon 29, and Dylan, 27, with him also admitted that it was just 'nice to play a role in a film' as opposed to her 'a role in personal life' but insisted that amid this period of her career, she is doing things on her terms. She said: "I'm just doing it my own way. I'm not listening to too much of the advice of others because I don't know what my next incarnation will be or what I want to be but I just feel more comfortable this way right now. But it could change tomorrow, we could change our mind!" Liam recently joked that filming the 'sex scenes' with Pamela was his favourite part of filming the latest instalment. He also commented on having an intimacy coordinator on set. "I'd never had one before. But she was in the background. There was no kind of, 'OK! Excuse me!'," he said. Pamela, who plays a nightclub singer who goes to Police Squad for help after her brother is murdered, said the intimacy coordinator knew when to walk away. She joked that the staff member stormed off as Liam claimed she was exasperated and said: "I can't take this! This is too hot for me. I'm going for coffee." Liam and Pamela had nothing but compliments for each other, with Liam previously telling People that he was "madly in love" with the former Playboy cover star." She's just terrific to work with," he said. "I can't compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with. She's going to be terrific in the film." And last month, Pamela said: "Our chemistry was clear from the start. We have the utmost respect for one another. I invited him and his assistant over for romantic dinners with me and my assistant so our relationship stayed 'professionally romantic' during filming."

Prince Harry will 'never be forgiven' by two major royals despite reconciliation hope

As rumours of peace talks between Harry and King Charles continue to swirl, a royal expert has claimed that there are two senior royals who will find it difficult to forgive Prince Harry's disloyalty A royal author has claimed that two senior royals will find it difficult to forgive Prince Harry as rumours of peace talks between the Sussex camp and the royal family continue to swirl. Speculation of a royal reconciliation between Prince Harry and King Charles first emerged when senior aides for both parties were spotted having a meeting in London. ‌ While it is not known who initiated the talks, many believe the Duke of Sussex has reached out to his father to mend their rift ahead of Prince Harry's trip to the UK in September. Many royal commentators are hoping that the relationship between the father and son can be patched up, however, others are not convinced that the royal family at large will be so quick to forgive. ‌ ‌ An one has claimed that two senior royals will 'never forgive' Prince Harry after his years of damning exposés against the Firm, including his tell-all interview with Oprah alongside Meghan Markle, and his explosive autobiography Spare. Royal author Robert Jobson believes that both Prince William and Queen Camilla will have a hard time letting go of the accusations made against them in Harry's 2023 memoir. Jobson told The Sun: "He's asking for forgiveness. Well, you know, I think that his father probably will in the long term. I think he probably will. I just don't see William and Camilla doing it." Jobson added that while Harry's mother, the late Princess Diana, also authorised a tell-all autobiography about her time in the royal family, she did not make any profit from the memoir. He said: "She didn't monetise it for herself. He made a fortune out of it." ‌ In Spare, Harry mentioned Queen Camilla on more than 60 occasions, often branding her as "the Other Woman". He also accused the Queen of being "dangerous" and leaking negative stories to the press, allegedly "sacrificing him on her personal PR altar". He also pondered whether she would become his and William's "wicked stepmother" before her marriage to Charles, as they continued to grieve the loss of their mother. ‌ Prince Harry also referenced his brother Prince William on several occasions, detailing instances throughout their childhood and their ongoing rift. He even made claims that the brothers had a physical altercation. In his bombshell interview with the BBC back in May, Harry said that "some members of my family will never forgive me" for writing his memoir. But he added: "It would be nice to have that reconciliation part now. If they don't want that, that's entirely up to them." Royal expert Jennie Bond also believes that it will be difficult for Princess Anne to forgive Prince Harry if the peace talks come to fruition, given his 'extreme disloyalty' to the Firm since he quit royal life and relocated to California. Bond told the Mirror: 'To Anne, loyalty is paramount, and I suspect she feels that Harry has been extremely disloyal to his father, his brother and the monarchy. She might well find that hard to forgive.'
