
Motorcyclist seriously injured after being struck in Toronto's east end
A motorcyclist has been rushed to the hospital following a collision involving a Beck taxi in Toronto's east end.
The crash happened near Danforth and East Lynn avenues, just west of Woodbine Avenue.
Toronto police said they were called to that area just after 9:15 p.m. for reports of a motorcyclist that had been struck by a vehicle.

Paramedics said they transported an adult male to the hospital with serious, but not-life-threatening, injuries.
They added that they're assessing two more adult males on scene, however there is no word at this point on the extent of the injuries they may have sustained.
The driver, meanwhile, remained on scene.
Motorists should expect delays in that area, police said.

Toronto police said the suspect, identified as 26-year-old Sheshamraju Sarikonda, was arrested on Thursday. He is accused of sexually assaulting a passenger on a TTC bus on the evening of Aug. 3. Sarikonda has been charged with sexual assault and committing an indecent act in a public place. Police have released his image, as investigators believe there may be more victims. Suspect wanted in North York unprovoked assault arrested
Police say the man in the photo is wanted in connection with an assault investigation in North York. (Toronto Police Service) Toronto police say they have arrested the man wanted in an unprovoked assault in North York last week. The arrest came two days after police publicly released images of the suspect, who is accused of punching and kicking the victim near Yonge Street and Greenfield Avenue on the evening of Aug. 8. Police say the victim and suspect did not know each other. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries. In an update on Thursday, investigators identified the suspect as 44-year-old Aaron McGee. He has been charged with robbery, assault, aggravated assault and three counts of breach of probation.

Teen killed, three others hurt in jet ski crash on Lake St. Clair
Four people have been taken to hospital following a serious marine incident in Lakeshore. CTV Windsor's Travis Fortnum is on scene. A 17-year-old girl is dead and another teen is fighting for her life after a jet ski crash in Lakeshore. Essex County OPP say emergency crews were called to Lake St. Clair, near Couture Beach, around 2 p.m. Thursday for a collision involving a single personal watercraft. With help from nearby residents, first responders pulled four girls — aged 15 to 17 — from the water. Police say the 17-year-old victim was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead. A 16-year-old girl was transported to hospital and later airlifted to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries. Two more girls, ages 15 and 17, were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
