Disneyland is offering more detail about MrBeast's viral date after YouTube's most popular creator said he paid $500,000 to have the entire theme park to himself.
"Disney won't just hand over their keys to anyone, but for this once-in-a-lifetime date, we were given the entire park for one night," MrBeast, the social media persona of Jimmy Donaldson, says in the video with more than 66 million views.
For the video, Donaldson took this fiancée Thea Booysen on six dates ranging from $1 to $500,000, concluding with what he described as a private evening at Disneyland.
MrBeast's trip was held after hours, park says
MrBeast and his team visited Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California "a couple of weeks ago" for an after-hours experience at the park, a Disney spokesperson told USA TODAY on June 11.
While MrBeast and his crew didn't have to face any lines or crowds, the park didn't change their normal operating hours to accommodate the influencer, either.
Variations of this experience are available to all customers, including Disney After Hours, in which customers can purchase tickets for three extended hours after the park's traditional closing time. The park also offers Disney's Fair Tale Weddings & Honeymoons, which allows couples and their family to rent various venues, including The Sleeping Beauty Castle Forecourt and Small World Mall.
One upcoming after-hours event is Disneyland's "Pride Nite" celebration from June 16-18. You may not get the park to yourself, but the park says guests can expect shorter wait times and special entertainment experiences.
MrBeast's team did not immediately respond for comment when contacted by USA TODAY on June 11.

Can you actually rent out all of Disneyland?
Disney did not specify if it is possible for customers to rent out the entire theme park. However, several Disney-centric blogs like Magic Guides say fans shouldn't get their hopes up about getting the park to themselves for a day.
"Closing down the resort for a day would be a public relations nightmare and would severely disrupt how guests could plan and book their trips," Magic Guides' author Joshua Powell wrote.
One celebrity actually did rent out the park
MrBeast isn't the first and likely won't be the last celebrity to make a solo appearance at Disneyland.
On Feb. 27, 1992, actress Elizabeth Taylor rented out all of Disneyland to celebrate her 60th birthday. The entire park shut down for the birthday bash, which required extra security. Hundreds of celebrities attended the party, a possible marketing win for Disney.

Is Prince Harry's Latest Gesture the Ultimate Princess Diana Tribute?

Is Prince Harry's Latest Gesture the Ultimate Princess Diana Tribute? originally appeared on Parade. Prince Harry recreated an iconic moment from his childhood with his mom, Princess Diana, during a recent trip to Disneyland with his wife Meghan Markle, and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. A video posted to Markle's Instagram page showed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as they enjoyed all the rides and attractions with their children. The couple reportedly spent two days vacationing at the park. However, some eagle-eyed fans couldn't help but compare the videos and clips to a moment in time when the late Diana took Harry and his brother, Prince William, to another Disney park. In August 1993, Princess Diana vacationed with her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. The trip happened shortly after Diana's separation from Prince Charles. The family enjoyed the log flume ride and other park favorites. Photos captured the princess and her sons as they rode the attraction, which splashes guests into a pool of water. It is unclear whether or not this was the first time the ex-royal family member had ridden the log flume since going on it with his late mother. Per PEOPLE Magazine, in 1993, Diana and her sons were allowed to have their moment on the water ride alone, as it was closed off to other parkgoers. It is unclear if Harry was given the same high-profile treatment during a visit with his family. Other pictures from Meghan's Instagram featured a Little Mermaid-themed cake for her daughter, the family having fun on numerous rides, and the couple going on Space Mountain, among other Disney activities. The Duchess of Sussex wrote, "Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy!" She utilized Peggy Lee's 'It's a Good Day' as a background song choice. Bryce Dallas Howard never tried alcohol. Here's how she played drunk in 'Deep Cover'

Bryce Dallas Howard never tried alcohol. Here's how she played drunk in 'Deep Cover' Show Caption Hide Caption 'Superman,' Mission: Impossible,' 'F1' and summer's must-see films USA TODAY film critic Brian Truitt releases his list of summer's must-see films. The highlights include "Superman" and "Mission: Impossible." NEW YORK − Bryce Dallas Howard never sipped alcohol in her life. But that didn't stop her from acting like an alcoholic who needs an intervention in her new crime comedy "Deep Cover" (streaming now on Amazon Prime Video). "I put ice cubes in my mouth because it kind of numbs your mouth," Howard, 44, reveals to USA TODAY of her trick to play drunk. "I also really enunciate a lot, so (the ice) helps to get the slurring going." Howard's other trick? She spins in circles to get dizzy. "That made me sick," Howard's co-star, Nick Mohammed, 44, interjects. "I'd rather get drunk." Join our Watch Party! Sign up to receive USA TODAY's movie and TV recommendations right in your inbox In "Deep Cover," Howard plays Kat, an improv-comedy teacher who is recruited along with two of her students (Mohammed and Orlando Bloom) to infiltrate a criminal gang in London. The actors note that there wasn't much improv in the movie, with the exception of the aforementioned intervention scene. After seeing her out on the town gallivanting with a few shady characters, Kat's friends intervene, unaware that the teacher is actually on a secret mission at the direction of law enforcement. There was one part of Howard's character that hit closer to home: teaching. The filmmaker holds a degree from New York University and taught classes there about the entertainment industry. Howard says she recently moved back to the New York area and is in talks with the university about returning to the classroom. "I could relate to the excitement around seeing other people (learn) and seeing people kind of come alive," Howard says. "But I also had even more empathy for my character because the thing that I teach in, I also do for my living. Whereas with Kat, she was teaching something that she wanted to be doing for her living, but she wasn't really getting a shot at it." Howard wasn't the only actor to partake in debauchery: Mohammed's character Hugh has to snort cocaine during the trio's initial meeting with the gangster Fly (Paddy Considine) to prove that the trio aren't posers. As for any real-life parallels, Mohammed says he has never taken drugs. Something bizarre but unrelated to the movie did happen to him four months ago, though: He almost lost a finger. The actor, best known as Nate Shelley from "Ted Lasso," says he sliced it while trying to remove an avocado pit. Fans of "Ted Lasso" may recall that in Season 3, Mohammed played violin during a scene. The actor learned the instrument when he was a child and performed in his college orchestra. He doesn't break out the violin for "Deep Cover" and says his injury has prevented him from playing. Mohammed explained to his mother, who was a doctor, that he doesn't really have any feeling in the finger. "My mom said, 'That might come back in a year,' " Mohammed recalls of the conversation. "I was like, 'And if it doesn't?' She's like, 'If it doesn't come back in a year, it's not coming back.'" At least in this situation, it doesn't seem as if ice is going to help.

Kate Beckinsale says 'Canary Black' producers made her perform 'dangerous' action stunts

Kate Beckinsale is suing the producers of her 2024 film "Canary Black," claiming she was exposed to "unsafe" working conditions and forced to perform stunts resulting in "debilitating" injuries. In a lawsuit first filed anonymously in December, amended May 21 and obtained by USA TODAY June 12, Beckinsale alleged that the "extremely challenging and physically demanding" action role, in which she plays a former CIA agent, caused "significant trauma to her left knee." Media site Puck was first to report the lawsuit. Beckinsale is suing producer John Zois, Anton Entertainment Media Services and Canary Black LTD for negligence, intentional infliction of emotional distress and battery. Beckinsale, 51, is requesting a jury trial, as well as economic, non-economic and punitive damages. USA TODAY has reached out to Beckinsale and Zois' reps for comment. Kate Beckinsale details assault on set at 18, more abuse after Blake Lively complaint Beckinsale, who filmed the movie from late 2022 to early 2023, said despite prior agreements and the actress and her team raising the alarm on what they call "unsafe" conditions – including 15-hour shooting days, surprise stunts and lack of adequate equipment and medical personnel on set – the production "recklessly and intentionally" forged ahead, according to the lawsuit. Before filming began in Croatia in September 2022, Beckinsale and the movie's producers had agreed to have physical health resources – including gym equipment, a physical trainer or a qualified massage therapist – but none were provided, the lawsuit stated. She was also contracted to be on set for no more than 12 hours, which filming routinely pushed past. She said the producers would often deviate from the filming schedule and inform her of stunts "spur of the moment," therefore "recklessly increasing the risk of injury." And she recalled being told on the same day that scenes previously set to be filmed via green screen were suddenly "practical." At one point, Beckinsale's stuntwoman broke an ankle after a "dangerous" scene. As a replacement, the producers provided an "unqualified" stunt performer who was "simply the girlfriend of the stunt coordinator." According to Beckinsale, Zois at another point told her "that the production company had failed" to do "any significant training period" for things like harness work. In November 2022, Beckinsale and her team brought concerns to Zois, per the filing, which he purportedly acknowledged. "I don't know what else to say other than you're right," he said, according to the suit. And "bottom line, we need to shorten these days…The days are too packed for the pace we are moving and it's CLEARLY not sustainable." However, conditions did not change, the lawsuit states. And in a December 2022 incident, Beckinsale was directed to perform a "dangerous" stunt with a male actor that involved throwing and slamming her into a wall, per the filing. The actor was fully padded, while Beckinsale only received mini pads, providing no protection. Despite her complaints, many takes were shot, resulting in her suffering a complex meniscus tear in her left knee, the suit said. The lawsuit stated that Beckinsale was immediately pressured to return to finish the film, with the actress asserting her return was contingent upon her doctor approving the shot list and the team sticking to strict physical limitations. Despite the medical orders, when the actress returned in February 2023, the film's producers failed to adhere to orders, continuing to inform her of unsafe action shots last minute, which caused further injury.
