Barnsley beat Fleetwood on penalties to reach Carabao Cup second round
Former Tykes striker James Norwood then scored to take it to sudden death.
Reyes Cleary scored from 12 yards, before Cooper saved again from George Morrison as the League One side won 5-4 in the shoot-out.
The hosts opened the scoring on 15 minutes after Cleary's cross was headed home at the back post by midfielder Jon Russell.
Will Johnson had the ball in the back of the net for Fleetwood on 23 minutes but it was disallowed as he had scored directly from a throw-in.
Davis Keillor-Dunn almost doubled Barnsley's lead on 26 minutes but volleyed over from inside the area.
Liam Roberts equalised for Fleetwood on the stroke of half-time, scoring directly from a corner.
Barnsley took the lead in the 59th minute, as Toby Mullarkey turned a Cleary cross into his own net.
Substitute Owen Devonport levelled in the fourth minute of added time, firing past Cooper in front of the travelling fans to send the match to penalties.

The former Everton and Man City midfielder made just 76 appearances during his four years at the club. Continuing to earn big bucks, believed to be £70,000-a-week, in the Championship, Rodwell went almost a year without featuring before his deal was eventually terminated in June 2018. Oviedo moved back to his homeland to sign for Alajuelense a year ago though it remains to be seen whether the 35-year-old's contract will be extended. ADNAN JANUZAJ The ex-Manchester United wonderkid failed to shine during his loan spell at Sunderland and left Old Trafford permanently for Real Sociedad that summer after relegation. The Belgium attacker later moved to Sevilla in 2022 but has been sent out on loan to Istanbul Basaksehir and Las Palmas over the past two campaigns. FABIO BORINI The 34-year-old one cap Italy international, who previously underwhelmed at both Chelsea and Liverpool, was a firm favourite on Wearside. He departed after the drop and headed to AC Milan and has since played for Hellas Verona, Turkish club Karagumruk and spent the past two seasons with Sampdoria. Borini has recently been back in England after becoming a free agent and been training with other out of contract players in a PFA camp.

Danilo happy to step up for Rangers with key players absent
With Cyriel Dessers injured and Hamza Igamane returning from injury, the 26-year-old Brazilian striker, who signed from Feyenoord in 2023, is likely to start for Russell Martin's side against the League One outfit. Danilo took over from Dessers in the Champions League qualifier against Viktoria Plzen in the Czech Republic on Tuesday night when the Nigeria forward had to go off – the Gers lost 2-1 but went through to the play-off against Club Brugge 4-2 on aggregate – and wants to grasp the opportunity to make his mark. He said: 'Obviously, you work hard for any difficult moments that happen, like right now with Dessers and Hamza away. 'So, I am ready to step up and show my qualities. 'I think everybody saw how hard I work, and I also want to help the team. 'So, obviously I focus on me and this is a great opportunity for me to be ready and show my qualities.' Danilo insists he is in a more confident mood after getting a full pre-season under his belt. He said: 'Last season was a hard process for me and I had to build up confidence. 'Obviously, a new manager coming into the building, you want to show your qualities, your fitness levels. 'So, this was great for me to be ready for it. Also confidence-wise, it's been brilliant as well. 'That's what I told the last press conference, I said my head is in a great place. So, right now it's just about momentum and hopefully the goals come as well.'
