Women's Rugby World Cup already exceeding expectations
More than 300,000 tickets had already been sold before the latest round of ticket sales began on Wednesday morning.
It means that the tournament has already sold more than double the total number of tickets bought for the previous edition in New Zealand three years ago.
'We are exceeding expectations across all of our objectives,' Massey said. 'So everything that we set out to do, the ambition that we had, we are exceeding that.
'With 100 days to go, there is still a lot of work to do. We are busy working with all our host locations, our stakeholders, with the RFU on our legacy programme, with UK Sport.
'There are a huge number of people involved in what we are trying to do and trying to achieve, but we are ahead of expectations and are really excited for what is going to happen in a few months.'
The tournament begins on 22 August with hosts England taking on the USA at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland, one of two non-rugby stadiums to be used across the 2025 edition.
The success of the tournament means that the opener is the only game remaining with tickets to watch England in the group stages of the tournament.
The final on 27 September has also sold out of its allocation, meaning there is a potential to sell out the venue for a women's match for the first time ever.
Massey added: 'Ticket sales have been amazing, the fact that we have sold this many tickets this far out from the event and have still got 100 days to go.
'Obviously, when we get to those knockout stages, we don't know which teams will be in those knockout stages, but when we do know where those teams fall, there will be lots more tickets being bought.
'We went on sale at 9am on Wednesday morning, and there were already thousands in the ticket queue before the platform opened.
'We know the momentum the ticket sales are gaining across our eight iconic host locations across the country, and those communities are getting involved and building excitement. It is going to be incredible.'
Massey was speaking as the new Women's Rugby World Cup trophy was revealed at Battersea Power Station.
The new and bigger trophy is another example of the greater investment and interest in women's rugby.
She said: 'This tournament will be era-defining in terms of the profile it gets on the BBC, it will be era-defining in terms of the standard we have been able to provide for those players and teams once they get here.
'We have been raising standards, making sure that we can provide the platform that they can thrive and perform at their best.
'We have got 16 teams who are all busy preparing and putting in so much work to be at their best when they are here.
'And it is going to be era-defining in terms of the number of people we have now engaged in women's rugby.
'Whether this is as an official, as a coach, as a player, or just want to engage as a fan and engage with so many of our powerful personalities that we have.'

'The season could be all right after all'
Newcastle's performance at Villa Park was a pleasant surprise. For the first half we kept Aston Villa to an xG of a delicious 0.0 and we looked sharp and disciplined. Not what I was expecting!Much noise has been made about the transfer window being a bust for us, but we have gained a little bit of momentum in the past couple of weeks and it now looks (striker 'on strike' aside) like a pretty decent is nice, and necessary, that we are bringing in players to augment the side but I'm going to talk up our first summer signing, Anthony Elanga, because I thought he was excellent this weekend and typifies what we are trying to very nearly went down in the annals of debut history with a shot within the first four minutes, bursting down the wing and beating Tyrone Mings and Ezri Konsa to show us just what he is going to offer this didn't matter that he didn't score (well it did, because we didn't win, but go with me here), it mattered that he looks fast and up for the challenge of proving himself at Newcastle additional context is, of course, that we were playing without an established striker.I'm not prepared to go into why. I'm sick of why. Why has dominated our summer. What I loved about Saturday's performance was not just Elanga's promising debut, but the fact the team seemed so together. The team wasn't going to let having no striker on the pitch and the commotion around that bleed into the start of the need one, make no mistake, but in the meantime we're going to work hard, stay fit and disciplined, and do what we can.I think the season could be all right, after more from Charlotte Robson at the True Faith: Newcastle United Podcast, external

'It doesn't get much better in terms of debuts'
BBC Radio 5 Live's Monday Night Club panel were all impressed by Tijjani Reijnders' "unbelievable" Premier League debut against Wolves in which he scored one and provided an the departure of Kevin de Bruyne this summer, there has been a lot of talk around how Pep Guardiola fills their 'Kev-shaped hole,' but any existing worries have probably now been put to bed because of Reijnders' potential."He's still got a long way to go before we put him in the same league as De Bruyne," said former top-flight striker Sutton. "They are not like-for-like players, but it is about making an impact and he certainly did that."The reverse pass for Erling Haaland, when he scored his second, was clever and a typical City move."All afternoon he was a threat. It doesn't get much better in terms of debuts so I think City fans have a lot to be excited about with him."Watch the full episode on BBC iPlayer and listen on BBC Sounds

'Looking at a very bright future' - fans' views on Forest' latest signing
We asked for your views on Nottingham Forest's recent additions to the squad, especially striker Arnaud Kalimuendo and the transfer window as a whole. Here are some of your comments:Dave: Brilliant signings which not only shows Forests ambition but underlines their intent to fill the squad with the best young talent This is a great signing to round off the past couple of days. Obviously, still have faith in Chris Wood, but this could be a great person to have alongside him. These last three signings feel very much like good investments for the future, which makes me happier than ever to call myself a Forest Good squad now. Awoniyi and Dennis to move on and will balance transfers in and out this summer. Trevor: If the last three signings slot well into the Forest team I watched yesterday, I think we are looking at a very bright A great talent and a massive coup for the club. The vision and passion being shown by the board just shows how important Forest will be in Europe and the Premier League - we are not a one-season wonder.
