Fatal crash closes part of Highway 14 in Owatonna
One person died in a crash with a semi truck in southern Minnesota Monday morning, authorities said. The semi collided with another vehicle at highways 14 and 218 near Owatonna around 4:25 a.m., according to the Minnesota State Patrol. The semi driver was uninjured and the other driver was killed. As of 6:16 a.m., Highway 14 eastbound was closed while crews cleared the crash. The Minnesota Department of Transportation said it would be closed until about 10:30 a.m. The state patrol is investigating the crash.

2 teens killed, 1 injured in crash in McHenry, Illinois
Two teenagers are dead and another person is seriously injured after a crash in McHenry, Illinois. Police said an Audi was driving south on Richmond Road when it collided with a black Nissan at the intersection of Richmond and McCullom Lake roads around 12:30 a.m. The cars also hit an unoccupied and parked Toyota Echo in the 1800 Block of Richmond Road. The 18-year-old man driving the Audi was taken to Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital with serious injuries. The two occupants in the Nissan, a 19-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy, were both pronounced dead at the scene by the McHenry County Coroner's Office. Route 31 is closed between Blake Boulevard and First Avenue. Kris Habermehl recommends commuters use Riverside Drive. McHenry police are investigating the cause of the crash.

A14 CLOSED in both directions after two-lorry crash
The A14 is closed in both directions after a lorry carrying petrol was involved in a crash. Emergency services were called to the westbound carriageway near Stowmarket at about 7.55am on Monday. A spokesman for Suffolk police said the westbound carriageway has been closed at Claydon, while eastbound the A14 is closed at Tot Hill. The fire service and paramedics have also been called, but the extent of any injuries is not yet clear. According to the AA Traffic Map, there are severe delays in the area.
