The terrifying crash happened in a quiet German town when a Volvo SUV veered off the road, tore through two hedges and hit the child with full force.

The two-ton vehicle then went airborne and crashed into the roof and wall of a nearby barn — coming to rest three metres off the ground, embedded in the structure.
Cops in the Lower Saxony town of Bohmte said the seven-year-old suffered life-threatening injuries.
There were five people inside the car, including three children aged 11, 12, and 13, Bild reports.
A 43-year-old female passenger was seriously injured, while the others sustained minor injuries.
Emergency services swarmed the scene after Sunday's horror crash.
'We were alerted around 8pm to an accident with several people trapped,' a fire department spokesperson confirmed.

The family of a motorcyclist who died after a crash involving two cars have said he was a "devoted father" who had "cheeky charm and enthusiasm for life".Steven Morris, 38, was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the crash in Alfreton Road, Underwood, Nottinghamshire, on Sunday and died a short time later, despite the efforts of emergency Morris's family described him as "a family man" who "touched so many lives".Nottinghamshire Police said officers were called just before 20:00 BST and issued an appeal for anyone who saw any of the vehicles involved - a Harley Davidson motorcycle, a Volvo V90 and a Bentley Brooklands - before the crash. In a statement, Mr Morris's family said: "We are so desperately heartbroken and devastated at the loss of our beloved Steven, known to those closest as Mo, who has been taken much too soon at the tender age of 38."We were incredibly fortunate to have called him our Steven and he will be loved always."We would like to thank all the emergency services and members of public present at the scene who helped Steven, it means a lot to know you were there."Det Con Andrew Fawcett, of the force's serious collision investigation unit, confirmed Mr Morris's family were being supported by specially trained officers as an investigation into the crash continued."We know this has been a huge shock and very difficult time for Mr Morris's family as they try to come to terms with their loss," he added.

Family tribute to 28-year-old who died in north Dorset crash
The family of a man who died in a single-car crash in north Dorset have described him as "the most loving and kind-hearted man".The incident, involving a grey BMW, happened shortly before 09:30 BST on the A357 Cook's Lane, near Stalbridge, on driver, 28-year-old Edward Pass, known as Ed and from the local area, died at the Police has appealed for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch. Man arrested after two young men die in multi-car crash
A man has been arrested after a crash involving three cars killed two young men and left others injured. A black Audi and a grey VW Polo collided on Daws Hill Lane in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, at around 7.40pm on Thursday, Thames Valley Police (TVP) said. The Audi then continued along the road before colliding with a Honda Jazz on a roundabout a few moments later. Two men in the Audi died following the crash. Their next of kin have been informed, the force said. Two other men who were in the Audi were taken to hospital, with one remaining there with serious injuries. A 20-year-old man from High Wycombe was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving on Friday and is currently in police custody, TVP said. The occupants of the other two vehicles suffered minor injuries.
