Ahmed Hatem & Director Abdul Rahman Abu Ghazaleh Reunite for New TV Series
Egyptian actor Ahmed Hatem and "
Omar Affendi
" director Abdul Rahman Abu Ghazaleh are set to reteam for a new TV series.
Abu Ghazaleh directs the untitled project from a script by Ahmed Wael and based on an idea by Peter Mimi, who also serves as a producer on the show.
Hatem was last seen making a cameo appearance in Nelly Karim's star-studded TV series '
Ekhwaty
'.
The series also stars Ruby, Kinda Alloush, Gihan El Shamashergy, Aly Kassem, Hatem Salah, and more.
It is scripted by Mohab Tarek, directed by Mohamed Shaker Khadir, and produced by Media Hub.
"Ekhwaty" consists of 15 episodes and was screened during the Ramadan 2025 drama marathon.
Hatem, born on December 25, 1987, made his acting debut in the 2006 film "Awqat Faragh".
Other notable film credits include "El Kenz" (2017), "El Haram El Rabea" (2016), "Qeset Hob" (2019), "El Ghassala" (2020), "Arousty" (2021), and "Qamar 14" (2022).

"Sefirin Kızı" Gets Arabic Adaptation with Carmen Bsaibes Attached to Star
Yara Sameh The 2019 Turkish series "Sefirin Kızı" ("Daughter of the Ambassador") is getting an Arabic version. The Arabic redo features Lebanese sweetheart Carmen Bsaibes and Mahmoud Nasr. Wissam Fares and Sabah Jazairi are also attached to star. Directed by Emre Kabakuşak and written by Ayşe Ferda Eryılmaz and Sedef Nehir Erdem, "Sefirin Kızı" aired from 2019 to 2021 and tells the story of a love affair between Nare, the ambassador's daughter, and Sancar, a poor worker's son. Their love story is complicated by their social differences and a tragic event that separates them. The series explores themes of love, betrayal, and family. Free Palestine: A red banner against El Al in Paris sparks widespread controversy
