The young Malaysians found the net through captain Iman Faris Faizo (3rd, 20th minutes), Safwan Salihe (24th, 50th, 60th), Saiful Syahy (25th), Izz Ilhan Azrul Ridzuan (27th), Hisyammudin Abdul Rani (44th), Aferullsyah Ahmad Azuan (47th) and Rafiq Raze (54th).
Midfielder Harieq Afi Rishaudin was rested after sustaining a head injury in Malaysia's 4-0 win over Kazakhstan on Thursday, which required four stitches.
Head coach Sufian Mohd was pleased with the dominant display but stressed the need to improve from set-pieces.
"My forwards played well against a defensive Indonesia. We scored six goals from penalty corners and four from open play," said Sufian.
Malaysia will next face Taiwan on Sunday.

Nickhileswar and three others vie for Asian Junior squash titles
KUALA LUMPUR: M. Nickhileswar and three other Malaysians will be bidding for glory in their respective categories at the Asian Junior Squash Championships in South Korea on Saturday. Top seed Nickhileswar marched into the boys' Under-17 final with a commanding 11-7, 11-5, 11-6 win over Japan's third seed Shu Takahashi at the Gimcheon Squash Centre on Friday. He will face India's Aryaveer Dewan in the title match. Aryaveer stunned Malaysia's second seed Aqil Mirza Naim Khairil Fariz 11-7, 11-3, 11-7 in the other semi-final. Nickhileswar's run is all the more impressive given he has been managing a right ankle injury throughout the tournament. "There was discomfort in the first two rounds, but I'm feeling much better now thanks to the physio," Nickhileswar told Timesport on Friday. "It'll be my first meeting against Aryaveer. I know people expect me to win, but I won't put pressure on myself. My goal is to retain my Under-17 crown after winning it in Islamabad last year." Nickhileswar also lifted the Under-15 title in Pattaya in 2022. Meanwhile, second seed Low Wa Sern produced a dominant display to beat Japan's Renshi Makino 11-2, 11-6, 11-3 in the boys' Under-19 semi-finals. He will face home favourite and top seed Na Jooyoung in the final. Photo: Bernama Over three decades after a defining moment in Malaysian sports history, the national men's badminton team's triumphant 1992 Thomas Cup victory is set to hit the silver screen. The film, titled Sentuhan Wira (Touch Of A Hero), was officially launched by producer Victory Pictures Sdn Bhd on July 3, in conjunction with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the relevant parties, witnessed by National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (Finas) Chairman, Datuk Gerald Hans Isaac. Under the MoU, two national badminton legends - Datuk Rashid Sidek and Datuk Cheah Soon Kit - who were key players in the squad at the time, were appointed as production advisers. They are also directly involved in the script development to ensure factual accuracy and to convey the true spirit of the team's journey to the audience. Rashid said the film is not just about badminton, but a cinematic piece that reflects struggle, belief and national pride as Malaysians. He also described the film's production as an important platform to share the experiences of former players with the younger generation, while highlighting the spirit of unity that existed within the national team at the time. "We want the current generation to feel what we experienced as players and to witness the unity and strong patriotic spirit among us. Even though we came from different races, we still succeeded together for one purpose,' he told reporters after the MoU signing. "Yes, it's been a long time - 33 years without winning the Thomas Cup. So, with the release of this film, we hope it can boost the spirit of our current players to become more motivated. "What's more important is the spirit of patriotism, not individual glory, but the collective drive to bring honour to the nation,' he said, adding that back then, they placed national pride above personal interests. Meanwhile, Sentuhan Wira director Lenny Ooi said he will present an action-directed style, with filming that emphasises realism in the training and match scenes. "The actors selected must also be able to play badminton; otherwise, their movements will look stiff,' he said.
