Drummer and Music Talent Agency Owner Killed in San Diego Plane Crash
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the total number of fatalities is unknown at this point, but there were six people on board the private jet, the Associated Press reported. Sound Talent Group confirmed three employees died, including Shapiro, 42, but didn't share the other victims' names.

'We are devastated by the loss of our co-founder, colleagues and friends,' Shapiro's agency shared in a statement to Billboard. 'Our hearts go out to their families and to everyone impacted by today's tragedy. Thank you so much for respecting their privacy at this time.'
Following his time at the Agency Group and United Talent Agency, Shapiro went on to launch Sound Talent Group in 2018 with Tim Borror and Matt Andersen. His roster included Sum 41, Pierce the Veil, I Prevail and Set It Off. Outside of his career, which also included running the Velocity Records music label, Shapiro was an avid pilot with more than a decade of flying experience. He also owned Velocity Aviation.
Williams' family also told TMZ that the musician was among the victims. The Devil Wears Prada shared a tribute on the band's official Instagram account, writing, 'No words. We owe you everything. Love you forever,' along with a photo of the drummer, who reportedly played with the band from 2005 to 2016.
Just before 4 a.m., the plane crashed into the Murphy Canyon neighborhood, the largest neighborhood of Navy-owned housing in the country, during foggy weather, the AP reported. The crash set at least one home on fire and numerous vehicles parked on the street ignited, as well. Several people were also injured on the ground while trying to flee the crash scene, while others were treated for smoke inhalation, authorities said.
The FAA said the NTSB will lead the investigation into the crash.

'While many ovals exhibit the subtle 'bow-tie effect,' this piece appears to have exceptional light dispersion, minimizing it entirely.' How many estimated carats are there? Rodríguez's oval-cut diamond ring is approximately 37 carats in total, according to jewelry experts. The center oval stone weighs about 35 carats, Tobias Kormind, the managing director of 77 Diamonds in London, told People. He believes the center stone is flanked by oval stones on the sides, about one carat each, set in platinum. BelJafla also assessed the stunner to be about 37 carats total and estimated the center diamond to be "between 22 and 30 carats," he told Vogue Arabia. Let's get down to brass tacks. 'If the diamond is natural and of exceptional quality in the D-F color range with flawless or near-flawless clarity, its value could easily exceed around $2 million," Laura Taylor, engagement ring specialist at Lorel Diamonds, told People. Meanwhile, Kormind estimates that Rodríguez is carrying around a $5 million ring on her finger. 'Experts value the ring between U.S. $4 million and U.S. $5 million,' BelJafla told Vogue Arabia, 'given the size, flawless clarity, and D color of the stones. … A ring like this is quite rare if it's a natural diamond.' The King of the Atlantis nearly lost his life in the water. Jason Momoa appeared on the 'Smartless' podcast Monday and recounted the time he almost drowned off the coast of Maui 18 years ago. 'I was doing this paddle, we went in at Jaws,' the 'Aquaman' star, 46, said, referring to the island's biggest surf break. 'We paddled like 13 miles down the coast.
