kajol took to her Instagram handle and announced the second season of The Trial. The release date has not been announced
Kajol is all set to reprise her powerful role as Noyonika Sengupta in the much-awaited second season of The Trial, and fans are super excited. The official announcement was made recently, confirming that the courtroom drama will return for a second innings, with Kajol leading the charge once again.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Kajol shared a video in which she is seen announcing the second season of The Trial. The show also stars Jisshu Sengupta, Sonali Kulkarni, and Sheeba Chadha among others. One of the fans wrote, 'Wow what an amazing way of making the announcement…fingers crossed.' Another wrote, 'Bring it on queen."
Watch the video here:
The web series Trial is a legal drama adapted from the American series The Good Wife. Kajol plays Noyonika Sengupta, a housewife who returns to her law career after her husband is imprisoned due to corruption and a sex scandal. The US version of The Good Wife premiered in 2009 and ran for seven seasons. The drama focused on Alicia Florrick, a woman who must support her politician husband after he is implicated in a sexual misconduct scandal while resuming her legal practice. The makers haven't revealed the release date of Aamir Ali and Kajol starrer The Good Wife yet but dropped the first look last year.
Kajol had earlier told Variety, 'The complexities are what defines a character to me and the layers surrounding Noyonika are what spoke to me when this role first came over. Noyonika felt personal, I instantly felt protective about her and that reaffirmed my faith in choosing 'The Trial – Pyaar, Kanoon, Dhoka' on Disney+ Hotstar to be my first step into the long format. Suparn Varma has built a world where vulnerability of characters meet the cruel situations posed by life. The audience will feel for and feel one with Noyonika as she makes difficult choices, because I did."
Recently, Kajol left everyone shocked recently when she refused to talk in Hindi at an event in Mumbai. It all started when a paparazzo asked her to say something in Hindi since the Bollywood actress was addressing the media in Marathi. This seemingly left Kajol annoyed, who reacted angrily and said, 'Should I say it in Hindi now? Whoever wants to understand, will understand!"
In no time, the video went viral on social media with netizens expressing disappointment with Kajol's behaviour. Several users condemned the actress' comment and asked her to stop working in the Hindi film industry. 'If she feels uncomfortable and ashamed to speak in the Hindi language, then she should stop working in Bollywood Hindi Movies. She should drop her double standards," one of the users wrote. 'Why is she working in Hindi films? She should work in Marathi films only, if they don't respect and hate Hindi, why do and translate ur movie in Hindi," added another.

Indian Man Explains Why He Loves Living In Canada: ‘Sab Rules Follow Karte Hai Yaha'

Last Updated: An Indian content creator living in the North American country shared the number of things he loves about Canada and why he doesn't wish to return anytime soon. An Indian man living in Canada shared a viral post, explaining why he cherishes his life in the North American country and doesn't want to return to India. Sahil Narang, a content creator, posted a video highlighting the benefits of living in Canada with a Hindi voice-over. Narang spoke about the number of facilities offered to the residents by the Canadian government, including minimum wage and job security. 'These are the main reasons I absolutely love living in Canada and why I'm still not ready to leave this country," said Narang as he introduced himself in the video captioned 'Why I love living in this Country". 'Hi, my name is Sahil, and I have been living in Canada for more than three years. In Canada, every province has its minimum wage. No matter what job you do, you are guaranteed to earn at least that amount. And trust me, if you're talented and have solid experience in a good field, you can end up earning a great deal here." The content creator also made it a point to share how even the privileged lot of Canadian society follows the rules and regulations put in place by the authorities. 'Here, everyone follows the rules, regardless of whether you're rich or poor. The best part is that there is no enforcement to make people follow them; they choose to follow the rules on their own," Narang said. Further on life in Canada, the content creator spoke about the beauty of the country and how the festivities organised by the government give residents plenty to look forward to regularly. 'Canada is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. The government does a lot for its residents, organising so many festivals that they truly make you feel at home," he said. 'Every day, every week, every month, there is always something happening, whether it is snowing heavily, scorching hot, or anything in between. This country never stops. If you're doing well and earning well, you will experience the best days of your life here." What the Internet Said About Indian's Love Affair With Canada The clip shared over Instagram garnered the attention of users from India, who promptly commented beneath it. While some expressed their envy of the man, others were not so amused at the idea of him choosing another country above India and its cultural heritage. 'Job dilwado phir jara mujhe bhi (please get me a job there as well)," wrote one user. Another commented: 'At least something positive on my feed for Canada. Nice." A nationalist said, 'Bhai apne India ko explore karo (brother, please explore India), Indian culture is the best."
