Truth about Emma Raducanu boyfriend now emerges as new man turns up after Alcaraz hotel visit
The tennis star's love life has been in the spotlight at Wimbledon
Raducanu was seen watching Alcaraz in action at Queen's last month
All eyes will be on Emma Raducanu at Wimbledon on Friday as she takes on top seed Aryna Sabalenka in the third round of the women's singles at SW19.
The 22-year-old has impressed in the opening two rounds of this year's tournament, easing past Welsh teenager Mimi Xu with a 6-3, 6-3 victory in her first match before beating Marketa Vondrousova by the same scoreline in round two. However, the biggest challenge of her campaign so far awaits on Centre Court on Friday afternoon, with Sabalenka currently the top-ranked women's player in the world.

With the home crowd behind her, however, Raducanu will be hoping to cause an upset as she looks to let her tennis do the talking, having never really lived up to the 2021 US Open triumph that catapulted her to fame as a teenager.

Going into this year's Wimbledon, however, much of the conversation around Raducanu revolved around her life away from the court, particularly her personal relationships.
While there's lots of rumours, there is no confirmation Raducanu is currently in a relationship.
Emma Raducanu and Carlos Alcaraz rumour
The British star has seen herself romantically linked to a host of different men both within and outside of tennis, with rumours swirling ahead of the tournament of a potential relationship between her and reigning Wimbledon men's singles champion Carlos Alcaraz.
Article continues below
Suggestions that the pair were more than just friends first emerged last summer, but gathered pace last month when it was announced that they would partner each other in the mixed doubles competition at the US Open later this year.
Raducanu was also seen cheering on Alcaraz as he won the men's singles event at Queen's, while reports emerged that the Spanish star had visited her at her hotel during the tournament.
But while tongues were wagging, the British ace soon shut down the speculation at a Wimbledon press conference, telling reporters: "We're just good friends".

Emma Raducanu and Jack Draper rumour
Despite Raducanu's insistence, rumours linking her to Alcaraz have persisted with Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios stirring the pot by claiming that she is in a 'love triangle' with the Spaniard and fellow British player Jack Draper, who she has also been linked with having known him since childhood.
"I don't know, I think it's a love triangle," he told talkSPORT. "They're [Alcaraz and Draper] fighting over Raducanu I think, I'm not sure."
However, the links between Raducanu, Alcaraz and Draper have since been superseded by rumours of a new man in the British women's No.1's life.

The new man in the crowd
Former tennis prodigy Benjamin Heynold was seen supporting Raducanu at Wimbledon earlier this week, sitting alongside her coach Nick Cavaday as she beat Vondrousova on Wednesday.
Now a 24-year-old student at the University of North Carolina, Heynold has known the British star since they were six, while they both represented Team GB together at junior level.
While not much else is known about Heynold, his long-standing friendship with Raducanu has led to speculation that their relationship may have evolved into something more serious, as he was also seen in her corner at Queen's last month, as well as other tournaments previously.

Emma Raducanu and Romeo Beckham rumour
It comes after Raducanu was also linked to David and Victoria Beckham's son Romeo after he watched her in action against Elise Mertens at Wimbledon last year.
The former Brentford footballer took to Instagram while at the match to post a picture of Raducanu playing, which he accompanied with two love heart emojis.
While the post again set tongues wagging, Raducanu played down suggestions of a romantic link after the match as she said: "I mean, I think he's, yeah, he's really cool.

"His dad is, you know, someone that I think every athlete looks up to, especially every British athlete, you know what he's kind of gone through with the media, with his career, with the pressure moments."
Emma Raducanu's split from billionaire's son
Speculation around Raducanu's personal life follows her split from Carlo Agostinelli, the son of billionaire Robert Agostinelli and a footballer previously on the books of Tottenham Hotspur, last year.
The couple reportedly first started dating in May 2023 and were seen on trips together, including one to Mexico as they attended Dior's 2024 Cruise show. They were also seen walking arm-in-arm and smiling together at Paris Fashion Week as their romance was confirmed.

However, they later split up, with Raducanu unfollowing Agostinelli on social media just weeks ahead of last year's Wimbledon.
Parents intervention
While her love life is a hot topic at present, the tennis ace has revealed that her parents imposed a 'boyfriend' ban on her when she was younger, in order to keep her focused on her training.
"My parents were very much against [boyfriends] as it interfered with training," she told The Times. "When I was younger I wasn't even allowed to hang out with my girl friends.

"A lot of the time I was very resentful [of the ban]. But it made me very confident and comfortable in my own company, which is also a big strength."

Marcus Rashford reaches out to Barcelona after transfer collapse & exit request

Manchester United want to sell Marcus Rashford during the summer transfer window and the chances of him getting his dream move to Barcelona have increased thanks to Nico Williams Marcus Rashford has made contact with Barcelona, after their £58million deal to sign Nico Williams collapsed in spectacular fashion. Williams, 22, was in talks to join Barca but their well-documented financial issues meant that they were unable to guarantee the Spanish winger that they could register him with La Liga. After weeks of fraught negotiations, Williams decided to instead sign a new 10-YEAR contract with Athletic Bilbao. That's left Barcelona looking for alternatives to strengthen their attacking department. ‌ Liverpool star Luis Diaz is their first-choice target, although the Reds are reluctant to sell the Colombian forward. Bayern Munich recently made an approach for Diaz, 28, which was firmly rebuffed by Liverpool who insist he's going nowhere. ‌ As such there is a gap to be filled at Barca, who have reportedly identified Rashford as their Plan B - with Rashford dreaming of joining the La Liga giants. He wants to test himself in another country rather than staying in the Premier League and Barca are his No.1 choice. However, with United demanding a fee of £40m, any deal with Barca for Rashford would likely be a loan - unless they can negotiate a drop in United's price tag. Rashford has told the Spanish champions that he'd be willing to take a pay cut on his £325,000-a-week salary. His brother and agent, Dwaine Maynard, was spotted meeting Barcelona sporting director Deco in May. United say that Rashford has informed the club that he wants to explore a move away, as have Red Devils team-mates Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia. Matheus Cunha has also taken Rashford's No.10 shirt. Last month, the 27-year-old revealed that he wants to play alongside Barca wonderkid Lamine Yamal in a thinly-veiled come-get-me plea. "Yeah, sure. Everybody in the world wants to play with the best," Rashford told Spanish YouTube channel XBuyer. "So hopefully, we'll see." Now the chances of him getting his dream move to Catalunya have increased. Athletic announced that Williams had signed a mammoth contract extension until 2035 on Friday morning. ‌ "When it comes to making decisions, for me, the most important thing is to listen to your heart. I am where I want to be, with my people, this is my home," the Spain international commented. ‌ Bayern were also interested in signing Williams, whose release clause has reportedly risen to around £87m. "The step forward Nico Williams has taken with this renewal fills the entire Athletic Club family with pride and paints a picture of a future as ambitious as it is exciting," the club added. "This latest display of loyalty marks a milestone in the history of the club and confirms a path of trust in the sporting project. He will continue to wear the number 10 inherited from Iker Muniain, with the Champions League as his new stage. His step forward in the face of dizzying offers is a resounding success for Athletic Club." Serve, set, match! Speedy Shelton reaches third round in one minute

LONDON, July 4 (Reuters) - Talk about a man in a hurry -- 10th seed Ben Shelton required just one minute to finish off his interrupted match against Australian Rinky Hijikata and reach the Wimbledon third round on Friday as he completed a 6-2 7-5 6-4 victory The American was left seething the previous evening when the contest on Court Two was suspended by umpire Nacho Forcadell because of fading light with Shelton serving for the match. That did not sit well with the 22-year-old who earned the sympathy of the crowd who chanted "one more game". After a night to sleep on it, Shelton made no mistake when play resumed, serving three aces, two clocked at 140mph, and an unreturned second serve to take his place in the last 32. The official reason for the previous night's stoppage was that automated Hawk-Eye line calling, which has replaced line judges this year for the first time, was unable to operate in low light conditions. "The umpire said it was like a five-minute warning until the Hawk-Eye was going down. That was, like, including the changeover, so there wouldn't be enough time to complete the game," Shelton told reporters after his win. "I was telling him, I only need 60 seconds. That's kind of what my goal was when I went out there today." Shelton's biggest gripe was that the match should actually have been curtailed earlier on Thursday as the court was becoming slippery, rather than at 5-4. "To stop when you're serving for the match, isn't ideal," he told reporters. "I thought we could have stopped earlier. My opponent was complaining since the end of the second set. "It seemed like there were better times if they knew they were going to stop it, to stop it before it got to that point." Shelton said he had walked back on court prepared to play another two hours if necessary. Thankfully for him, he was required to strike the ball only five times. "I'm just happy with the way I handled it coming out today and taking care of my business. I don't think that physically there's any big deal for me playing one game," he said. "But it's never ideal mentally having to wake up another day and be on and know that it's a match day. Obviously I went out there prepared to play two and a half sets. "You can't just go out there be like, 'Yeah, I'm going to hold (serve)'. What happens if you don't?" The big-serving Shelton has enjoyed a consistent run in the Grand Slams, now having reached at least the third round in his last eight appearances, including a semi-final run in Australia at the beginning of the year, his second major semi. Shelton will play lucky loser Marton Fucsovics in the next round after the Hungarian also completed a resumed match against French veteran Gael Monfils. Victory in that would see the American match his best result at Wimbledon, having reached the last 16 this time last year.

Oasis fans travel from Australia for band's first gig in 16 years

Fans waiting to see Oasis perform their first live show in 16 years have said they have been 'waiting for this day' all their lives and 'wouldn't miss it for the world'. Oasis will kickstart their long-awaited worldwide reunion tour in Cardiff on Friday. Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher will perform together for the first time since their dramatic split in 2009, when they appear at the Welsh capital's Principality Stadium. Fans Lachlan Weekes and Jayden Helm, who spent more than a day travelling from Sydney, Australia, to attend the concert in the Welsh capital, were among fans gathering ahead of the gig. Mr Weekes said: 'We've been planning it forever. We always said that if they got back together, we'd be at that first show.' Mr Helm said: 'We've been lifelong fans – we're 22 and 21, so haven't really had a chance to see them before. 'We always said it was worth it to come, we wouldn't miss it for the world,' he added. 'To take time off work to come over here, it's more than worth it.' The pair also visited Manchester, where the band formed in 1991, stopping off at Heaton Park as part of their personal Oasis tour. Lawrence Evans, from just outside Swansea, said his 'life changed' when he started listening to the band as he then started to play music and write songs. He said: 'They were the band that made me realise how much guitar music meant to me. 'It's something that stays with you forever. If you get into this type of music, I think it's in your soul forever,' he added. His son Jimmy said of the concert: 'The fact that it's in Wales is really special for us. 'It's the first time I get to see Oasis, (my dad) he's lost count, he's seen them countless times. 'I've been waiting for this day all my life.' Alex Schuetz, an Oasis fan from Germany, said you could not travel far enough to see the band. 'The first time I saw them was in 1997,' he said. 'The last time was in Manchester 2009, just before they broke up. 'I even got a ticket for a small festival in Germany and on the ferry to that festival I heard they broke up. 'I was like, 'Oh my god' something was dying inside of me – it sounds a bit stupid, but it took me ages (to get over it).' He added: 'I've come from Germany. You cannot travel far enough, I've been a fan since 1995.' Glenn Moss, an Oasis fan from Essex who regularly gets mistaken for Liam Gallagher, said he started working as an impersonator ahead of the Britpop band's reunion, having previously been against the idea. He said: 'I get stopped all the time – as soon as I got here yesterday four people within five minutes stopped me asking if I was him or for a photo.' The brothers announced the Oasis Live '25 tour last August, starting with two dates in Cardiff on Friday and Saturday, before heading across the UK and Ireland. Doors are expected to open at 5pm, with Cast and the Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft in support. Former members of the group are expected to make a return, with Andy Bell on bass, and Gem Archer and Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs on guitars. Noel was spotted getting off the train in Cardiff on Tuesday, while a drone display spelling out the band's name could be seen over the stadium on Wednesday. Fans across the city have also heard what they believe to be rehearsals in the Principality throughout the week. The reunion announcement came 15 years after Noel quit the Britpop band, saying he 'simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer', following a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris. While fans have been pleading for the group to reunite since they disbanded, website issues and controversial dynamic pricing brought outrage, with many failing to secure a spot. After tickets for the UK and Ireland shows went on sale last year, some standard tickets appeared to have jumped from £148 to £355. The controversy prompted the Government and the UK's competition watchdog to pledge to look at the use of dynamic pricing. Following Cardiff, Oasis will visit Manchester's Heaton Park, London's Wembley Stadium, Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium and Dublin's Croke Park throughout July, August and September. The group will then head to Japan, South Korea, South America, Australia and North America. A movie, produced by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight, is being made in conjunction with the reunion tour. The rock band was led by lead guitarist Noel and his brother, lead vocalist Liam, during their 18 years together. Oasis signed to independent record label Creation Records in 1993, rising to fame with the release of their debut chart-topping album Definitely Maybe on August 29 1994. They had hits with songs including Don't Look Back in Anger, Champagne Supernova, Wonderwall and Live Forever. Dig Out Your Soul, the band's last studio album, was released in 2008, just months before the Paris row.
