Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Disneyland family photo sparks wild conspiracy theories: Royal fans claim children were added with AI and a mystery 'disembodied' hand is holding up Lilibet
Rabid conspiracy theorists are now targeting Lilibet and Archie after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shared a family picture of them together at Disneyland.
Over the weekend the Duchess of Sussex, 43, uploaded a new Instagram post that included special moments from their visit to the theme park.
The Sussexes' children had their faces covered with heart emojis by their privacy-conscious parents.
But a family photo has been pored over by conspiracy theorists who have made ridiculous and bizarre claims including that the children are not there at all and were added with AI.
Some have marked up the images with their perceived inaccuracies. Several have claimed Lilibet is levitating and have claimed there is a disembodied hand' holding her up.
One bonkers idea is that they never went to Disneyland at all - and it was faked - because no one else at the park spotted them and shared their own pictures over the two days they were there.
Other wild conspiracies claim that a nanny was edited out of the image or that it was taken in winter because Archie is wearing several layers of clothing and his younger sister looks smaller than in recent pictures shared by her mother on social media recently including on Mother's Day.
One image being shared online even claimed to show the two children with their faces unobscured by emojis, which appears to have been faked.
It came a week after Meghan shared a video of her twerking with Harry before she gave birth to Lili, which trolls then claimed proved their baseless claim that she was never pregnant and wore a moonbump.
Meghan and Harry's kids also had fun on some rides at the amusement park such as Dumbo the Flying Elephant and the Cars ride
Markle shared a video montage on Friday from the two-day Disneyland vacation as she, Harry, Archie, seven, and Lili, four, had a blast on numerous rides and indulged in yummy treats.
There has been a great deal of focus on the family photo taken of Lilibet, who was at Disneyland with her parents and older brother to mark her fourth birthday.
But it has been seized upon by internet loons who have claimed, without any credible evidence, that the photos were faked.
Some have used this mystery limb to make the bonkers claim that there is a nanny holding the princess - but has subsequently been photoshopped out before it was published.
There has been a focus on the planks around Lilibet's feet, where one gap seems to be missing.
'I'm guessing the nanny was standing with Lily in the original, where the floorboard is wiped out', one keyboard warrior said.
Another wrote: 'Maybe the fact they are all dressed to a different season!? Was Summer hot for Lili to be on a Summer dress but cold enough for Archie to be wearing long a long sleeve-shirt and pants? Which is it?'
Several others claimed it was 'odd' that she was barefoot when the rest of the family are wearing shoes.
One said: 'Why is Lili barefoot, in a nightgown with unbrushed hair at Disneyland?'
But one critic of the conspiracy theorists said: 'Anyone with young children knows they are forever taking their shoes off'.
According to body language expert Judi James, the couple were keen to show a 'sense of unity' in their roles as parents, while 'signalling affection' by placing their hands on Archie and Lili's backs in the family photo.
However, she added that the constant presence of the camera almost appeared like the 'third person' in their marriage as it followed their 'every move'.
Speaking to MailOnline about the log flume ride photo, Judi reflected: 'The fact it follows from back view suggests a deliberate plan for this view of themselves as a couple and as doting playful parents to be presented to the public.
'Their body language looks synchronised here suggesting this PR aspect is a mutual objective.
'But there are also moments where Harry and Meghan become children themselves, appearing on one ride screaming, mouth open in excitement.
'These views and glimpses seem to align in intention with the twerking videos as a Harry and Meghan re-brand, trying to show them as a more "normal" couple and fun-based family behind the "celebrity" and "regal" facades.'
One snippet showed both Lilibet and their son Archie, six, having the chance to meet Disney princess Elsa from Frozen.
Meghan held her children's hands as they slowly walked over to take pictures with the character in a sweet moment.
Here, Judi said that Meghan 'sweetly adopts a personal status-lowering technique' as she introduced her to Elsa.
She added: 'She drops her head as though in the presence of a real princess to, again, help magnify the magic of the experience.'
Meanwhile Meghan's husband Prince Harry appeared 'like an excited child himself', crouching in several of the images with his hand on one of his children's backs.
In the caption, Meghan penned to her 3.6 million followers: 'Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy!' with Peggy Lee's It's A Good Day playing in the background.
Meghan and Harry's kids also had fun on some rides at the amusement park such as Dumbo the Flying Elephant and the Cars ride.
The couple - who tied the knot in 2018 - were spotted having a blast of their own as they sat at the front while on Space Mountain together.
One short reel included in the post was taken as the family-of-four excitedly explored Disneyland and also visited the Star Wars troopers.
Harry flashed a cheerful smile as he turned towards the camera while sitting next to Lillibet on another ride.
At one point, Markle and her family were also seen sporting matching Mickey and Minnie Mouse hats on top of their heads.
They later built up an appetite and one picture was taken to show a pile of corndogs and pickles on a table.
Lillibet also received a Little Mermaid-themed cake that was covered in hues of blue sugary frosting while 'Happy Birthday Lili' was written in pink icing.
The Instagram post also had a sweet family photo as they posed outside with a small river behind them.
Earlier this week on Wednesday, Markle jumped to her main Instagram page to share a rare photo of herself with daughter Lillibet to celebrate her birthday which took place on June 4.
In the black and white image, the actress could be seen holding her daughter as they enjoyed a boat ride on the water.
She also wrote, 'Happy birthday to our beautiful girl! Four years ago today she came into our lives - and each day is brighter and better because of it. Thanks to all of those sending love and celebrating her special day!'
In a separate post, Meghan uploaded a snap of her husband Harry gently holding Lillibet when she was a newborn.
Another picture was taken a couple years later as the pair ran along a dirt path at a scenic tropical location.
'The sweetest bond to watch unfold. Daddy's little girl and favorite adventurer. Happy birthday Lili!' Meghan typed out.
She also shared a throwback reel of herself twerking to help induce labor ahead of Lillibet's birth - and the clip went viral this week.
Meghan could be seen wearing a black dress as she showed off dance moves along with Prince Harry.
'Four years ago today, this also happened,' she began to explain in the caption.
'Both of our children were a week past their due dates… so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn't work - there was only one thing left to do!'
Meghan and Prince Harry reside in a Montecito home with Archie and Lillibet - and the Suits alum has previously opened up about their family life.
During an interview with People a few months earlier in March, Markle reflected on how they go about each day with 'normalcy.'
'Once you know us, I think you want us to have the same normalcy as parents and for our children as they do, despite however unique our situation is,' she explained to the outlet.
'We go to a lot of dinners, and not just in people's homes or private rooms; we just go into the restaurant. I really love that we can just have fun.'
She has been keeping busy and back in March, her Netflix series With Love, Meghan premiered and has also been renewed for a second season.
Later this month, Markle will also make an appearance at the Natural History Museums of Los Angeles County's Night of Wonder event on Saturday, June 14.
It is not known if Prince Harry will also attend with Meghan - but the ball will take place on the same day as Trooping the Colour in the U.K.

Distracted Yankees star makes throwing error mic'd up on ESPN after vowing to bring 'smoke' vs Red Sox
Jazz Chisholm Jr. was not focusing on just baseball while playing third base for the New York Yankees on Sunday night, as he made a critical throwing error during a mid-game interview. During one of ESPN's mic'd up segments during the third inning of a national broadcast against the rival Red Sox, the ball was hit to the 27-year-old. On what would have been a tough play even if Chisholm was not giving an interview answer, the speedy infielder had to deliver a spinning throwing across the diamond, which ended up way off line for an error. His horrible throw came after Chisholm promised to bring 'smoke' against Boson after Red Sox rookie pitcher Hunter Dobbins said he'd rather retire than suit up in pinstripes. 'I think there should be more trash talk in baseball!!! Anyone agrees!? Anyway free smoke at 7,' Chisholm posted to X hours before the error. Fans took the opportunity to dunk on Chisholm for a bit of karma, or think that ESPN should have been charged with the error, not the Yankees star. "DAMMIT" — Talkin' Yanks (@TalkinYanks) June 8, 2025 He made a throwing error during a mid-game interview on Sunday night during an interview 'Now i know why (Juan) soto didin't want to wear the mic during the subway series,' one MLB fan said on social media. 'Stop the interviews. It's so distracting and selfish by mlb and espn in my opinion,' a second person added. 'This franchise used to win championships,' a third continued. 'If you wanted attention you could just be good at baseball,' a fourth stated. A collection of social-media messages about Jazz Chisholm's throwing error on ESPN The throwing error did not lead to any scoring from the Red Sox, although Boston came on strong later in the game to win 11-7. Dobbins got the win, allowing only three runs in five innings of work, absorbing any excess smoke from the Bronx. Chisholm did not have a hit in three at bats, but did draw a walk and drive in a run. The teams meet again later this week, with plenty chances for smoke from Chisholm should he choose to dish it out.

Materialists review: This 'captivating' romantic drama explores love and money with 'piercing honesty'
Dakota Johnson, Chris Evans and Pedro Pascal make for a starry love triangle in this exquisite new film from director Celine Song, who previously made the Oscar-nominated Past Lives. If you've seen any of the trailers for Celine Song's Materialists, ignore them. In those previews and on paper, the film seems like a well-cast but stock romantic comedy, with Dakota Johnson as a professional matchmaker torn between a former love (Chris Evans) and a dazzling new possibility (Pedro Pascal). In fact, the film is hardly a romcom at all, but something far more original and captivating: a piercingly honest exploration of love and money and the inevitable connection between the two. (Just ask Jane Austen about the connection between a man with a fortune and the want of a wife.) Song doesn't reinvent the romcom here. She cleverly sidesteps it. Materialists is more akin to her first film, the nuanced Past Lives, than it might seem. As in Past Lives, with its delicate story of a woman whose childhood love from Korea re-enters her happily married New York life, Materialists is exquisitely made, character-driven and talky, with some glittering dialogue. It's the kind of idiosyncratic film a director sometimes gets to do after a great success – Past Lives earned Oscar nominations for Best Picture and Original Screenplay – and Song makes the most of it. Lucy's job as a matchmaker for high-end clients might seem like a strained device, but Song herself briefly had that job before she broke through as a playwright and film-maker. And Lucy is very good at her job, as we see when she cajoles a reluctant bride (Louisa Jacobson) on her wedding day to go through with the marriage. From there the plot follows a romcom trajectory, setting up a choice. At that wedding Lucy meets the groom's rich, handsome brother, Henry (Pascal), and is served a drink by John (Evans), the ex she broke up with after five years, who is still a struggling actor working the wedding as a waiter. A quick flashback shows that they broke up over money. Eating dinner from a food cart on their fifth anniversary was not what Lucy wanted. As always, Song creates great textured backdrops, with the breakup happening on a crowded New York street filled with traffic. In Lucy's new life, her non-negotiable demand is for a rich husband. "Marriage is a business deal and it always has been," she says. That might have come across as harsh and cynical, but Johnson's smooth performance makes Lucy seem refreshingly honest with herself about the life she wants, a reflection of the film's clear-eyed view of how money can make or break a long-term relationship. Pascal makes Henry utterly charming and suggests a layer of vulnerability beneath that charm. He has very little chemistry with Johnson, and whether that's intentional or not the film gets away with it because their characters' bond is based on a shared sense that money and lifestyle matter. "Once you've had your first $400 haircut you can't go back to Supercuts," Henry says, a line that suggests it's improbable Lucy can go back to John. But Song is too smart to make Lucy's decision easy or obvious. Henry doesn't simply check all the boxes for her. He actually listens to her, and they might genuinely fall in love. Maybe she can have love and money. Johnson does have chemistry with Evans, who makes it clear from John's first glance at Lucy that she is the woman he will never get over, whatever happens in the future. They have some lovely, tender moments together, which they realise they have to snap out of – or not. Why recycle a past that didn't work? Song gets comedy from Lucy's clients and their impossible checklist of demands for a mate, from men's height and amount of hair to women's age and fitness. Johnson is so convincing we almost believe Lucy when she tells them, "I promise, you will marry the love of your life." When she finally snaps in exasperation at one of them, she sarcastically says that of course she can deliver their perfect match "because I'm Dr Frankenstein". But there is also drama, when another of Lucy's clients has a date that turns violent. That's a twist you'd never see in a standard, breezy romcom, a sign of how much Song is determined to keep the film tethered to reality. Towards the end, Lucy dances at yet another wedding with one of her suitors to the old standard That's All, the least materialistic love song ever, with its lyric, "I can only give you love that lasts forever." It is the perfect song for a film that questions whether that kind of love can be real or if it's just a fantasy in today's material world. Moving on from its cynical beginning, Materialists takes the long way around to an ending that is decidedly hopeful. It offers an unblinkered, earned romanticism that suits this moment, and bolsters Song's reputation as one of our most astute observers of relationships. Materialists is released in US cinemas on 13 June and UK cinemas on 15 August. ★★★★★ -- If you liked this story sign up for The Essential List newsletter, a handpicked selection of features, videos and can't-miss news, delivered to your inbox twice a week. Diddy trial live: Hear chilling voice notes mogul sent 'victim' after she denied twisted 'freak off'
Sean ' Diddy ' Combs's trial for sex trafficking and racketeering is entering its fifth week on Monday in New York City after the court heard chilling voice notes from the rapper. The disgraced music mogul, 55, is facing life in prison if convicted of the claims that he used his fame and money to coerce women and employees into sexual and criminal activities for two decades. His ex-girlfriend, who is testifying under the pseudonym of Jane, will be back on the stand after telling the jury last week that she was forced to participate in frequent sexual performances with male sex workers to please Diddy. Jane's testimony, which is likely to continue deep into next week, is identical in many ways to the four-day testimony in the trial's first week by Cassie. Jane said she never wanted to have sex with other men but did it to please Diddy because she loved him. Diddy has pleaded not guilty. His lawyers concede he could be violent, but he denies using threats or his music industry clout to commit abuse. LISTEN: Diddy berates ex after she declines 'freak off,' tells her to 'get on her job' Prosecutors played an audio note from 2023 where Diddy tells Jane to 'get on her job' after she said she was not available for a freak off. 'I'm about to really disappear on you, you feel me?' the annoyed mogul said on the voice note, adding that Jane had a 'rude awakening' coming to her. 'You better get on your job, that's all it is,' he said. 'Because you got me on my job.' Jane said she understood her job to be keeping Diddy happy, which included having sex with male escorts as the mogul watched. Diddy's 'job,' meanwhile was providing financial support for Jane by providing her $10,000 a month.
