Baseball fans were less than impressed with Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper's rendition of 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame' at Sunday's fixture between the Chicago Cubs and the St. Louis Cardinals.
The podcaster, 30, was invited to perform the baseball classic during the seventh-inning stretch at Chicago's Wrigley Field.
In clips of the moment shared on X, Cooper appeared on the jumbotron where she began with her famous line, 'Alright, Daddy Gang,' to get the crowd excited.
She was initially met with loud cheers as the stadium sang along with her during the intro of the song. However, the support quickly descended into loud boos.
Despite the crowd's unhappy response, Cooper maintained her composure and made it through the entire song laughing and smiling.

Her performance luckily didn't sour Cubs fans' celebrations that night as the team went on to defeat the Cardinals 11-0.
Footage of her performance has been shared widely on X, with one commenter noting: 'You know it's bad when you get booed during the stretch. Most get booed for a bad rendition of the National Anthem, but this is pathetic.'
'That was brutal,' a second wrote.
Another, however, applauded her for doing it 'A cappella and without Auto-Tune.' 'I'll only say that she's a brave woman,' they added. 'The only question is whether she was drunk...'
Cooper had originally been in the Windy City to celebrate the Fourth of July weekend with fans at an exclusive one-night party sponsored by her electrolyte drink Unwell Hydration and White Claw.
She shared pictures from the evening on Instagram, alongside the caption: 'Unwell in Chicago.'
Cooper rose to fame with her podcast Call Her Daddy, which she launched in 2018 with her then-friend and co-host Sofia Franklyn. The episodes became known for featuring candid conversations about sex, relationships, and personal experiences.
The audio series has since evolved into a mammoth success for Cooper, who last August inked a multiyear deal with SiriusXM reportedly worth up to $125 million.
Last month, Cooper released her two-part documentary, Call Her Alex, on Hulu. In the docuseries, she accused her former Boston University soccer coach of sexual harassment.
Her alma mater responded to her allegations in a statement, saying: 'Boston University has a zero-tolerance policy for sexual harassment. We have a robust system of resources, support and staff dedicated to student wellbeing and a thorough reporting process through our Equal Opportunity Office.
'We encourage members of our community to report any concerns, and we remain committed to fostering a safe and secure campus environment for all.'

Lesnar is not a defendant in the lawsuit, despite being named on multiple occasions in a court filing, and has not commented on the incident publicly since being named in it back in February. The Daily Mail has requested comment from WWE on Lesnar's status with the company in regards to his return amid the McMahon lawsuit without an immediate response. His return has split opinions of fans, but Heyman, speaking to Ariel Helwani, told disgruntled fans they should get over their issues pretty fans quickly - because he isn't going anywhere. He is here, he is going to be here. And you ain't going to be able to cancel him and I am happy to have him back because the audience is happy to have him back. He added: 'Everything in life is met by criticism, I don't pay attention to that,' and, when asked if the criticism was fair, he said: 'No. I don't pay attention to it.' Former WWE employee Janel Grant amended the complaint in her ongoing lawsuit in February against McMahon, who she accuses of sex trafficking her. The amended complaint includes new disturbing allegations against McMahon and other members of the wrestling company, naming Lesnar as the wrestler he had allegedly enticed into staying under contract by using her as a 'sexual pawn.' In 2021, McMahon was embroiled in continued discussions with Lesnar over a return to WWE when he offered her to the wrestler and told her to create personalized sexual content for a WWE superstar, the complaint alleges. According to the suit, McMahon shared explicit photos with Lesnar and told Grant: 'He likes what he sees'. Then, allegedly after Lesnar agreed his new WWE contract, McMahon is said to have sent Grant a message in August 2021, telling her 'that part of the deal was f***ing U.' The complaint had previously detailed the allegations but had not named Lesnar, instead citing an anonymous fighter. The Wall Street Journal had previously identified the wrestler in question as Lesnar. Heyman, who has worked alongside Lesnar for much of the duo's career in the company, which has spanned a number of decades, added: 'He's here, that's the reality of the fact. If you were in MetLife Stadium on Sunday, you would understand that return meant a lot to that audience. 'That audience was shocked to see Brock Lesnar come out and to see him F5 John Cena. Nobody left MetLife stadium saying, "Oh God they brought back Brock Lesnar". People were just going nuts. 'That's our paying audience, they are happy to see him. I'm happy to be part of a team that presents him. Everyone has criticism in life, there are people that criticise, Jesus, Moses, Mohammed, God or Gods. Groundbreaking eight-time Grammy award-winning musician Eddie Palmieri dies aged 88 after ‘extended illness'
GRAMMY Award winner Eddie Palmieri has died at the age of 88. The rumba and jazz musician died at his home in New Jersey on Wednesday. 2 He died following an 'extended illness,' his daughter, Gabriela, told The New York Times. Music legend Palmieri, coined as the "Madman of Salsa," was the first Latino artist to win a Grammy Award. During his illustrious career, he picked up another seven Grammy Awards. Palmieri was a highly-revered pianist and first learned to play the instrument when he was a child. But, he was fascinated by the drums and decided to play the timbales in his uncle's orchestra. He then changed course and returned to playing the piano. Palmieri played alongside stars such as Johnny Segul and Tito Rodriguez before he launched La Perfecta, his own band, in 1961. He won his first Grammy Award in 1975 for his album The Sun of Latin Music. His success continued into the 1980s, scooping another two Grammy Awards. .

Actor who played Superman joins ICE ‘to help save America'
Dean Cain, who starred as the Man of Steel in the ABC TV series Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (1993-97), has announced that he has joined ICE to support President Donald Trump 's illegal immigration crackdown. Cain, 59, took to social media on Tuesday to announce the news to his followers in a video post that played like a one-man recruitment drive. The actor opened by telling his followers: 'For those who don't know, I am a sworn law enforcement officer, as well as being a filmmaker, and I felt it was important to join with our first responders to help secure the safety of all Americans, not just talk about it. So I joined up.' He continued: 'Here's your opportunity to join ICE. You can earn lots of great benefits and pay. Since President Trump took office, ICE has arrested hundreds of thousands of criminals including terrorists, rapists, murderers, pedophiles, MS-13 gang members, drug traffickers, you name it – very dangerous people who are no longer on the streets.' Cain then reeled off a list of perks recruits could enjoy: 'You can defend your homeland and get great benefits like a $50,000 signing bonus, think about that, student loan repayment (legally), enhanced retirement benefits and special for those in field operations and law enforcement roles. 'You also don't need an undergraduate degree, you can get to work right away. So iIf you want to help save America, ICE is arresting the worst of the worst and removing them from America's streets. I like that. I voted for that. 'They need your help, we need your help, to protect our homeland for families. Join today if it's something that tickles your fancy because we can use you.' Cain's video comes a week after Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem issued a press release telling Americans: 'Your country is calling you to serve at ICE. Your country needs dedicated men and women of ICE to get the worst of the worst criminals out of our country. 'This is a defining moment in our nation's history. Your skills, your experience, and your courage have never been more essential. Together, we must defend the homeland.' The actor's enthusiastic endorsement of that message attracted some responses on X, including several pointing out that the maximum age for signing up is 37, more than two decades younger than Cain himself. However, that restriction appears to have since been lifted. One user told the actor, 'Superman himself would be disappointed in you, Dean.' Cain replied simply: 'Not a chance.' The actor remains closely associated with the iconic superhero and recently applauded the White House for putting out a meme of President Trump wearing the signature red cape and tights, a post that also attracted plenty of derision from responders, pointing out that Superman himself is an immigrant to Earth. A staunch MAGA conservative in other respects, Cain holds surprisingly progressive views regarding the man from Krypton, recently nominating Michael B Jordan to be the first Black incarnation of the character and praising James Gunn 's new blockbuster despite Fox News commentators slamming it as 'superwoke' for carrying pro-migrant themes. Cain is a regular guest on Fox and is so devoted to Trump's cause that, in 2019, he appeared opposite original Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Kristy Swanson in the spoof play FBI Lovebirds: Undercovers, offering dramatic readings of the infamous text messages exchanged between agents Peter Strozk and Lisa Page, which Politico described as ' Hamilton for the Make America Great Again crowd.'
