Freddy Brazier makes rare appearance with dad Jeff and brother Bobby after feud

Metro6 days ago
Bobby and Freddy Brazier put on a united front to attend the gala night of 101 Dalmatians: The Musical for their dad Jeff's theatre debut.
The brothers, and sons of the late Jade Goody, were spotted walking to the Eventim Apollo together to see Jeff, 46, star as Cruella de Vil's henchman Casper, alongside Aston Merrygold as Jasper.
Freddy, 20, and Bobby, 22, appeared in high spirits arriving at the venue, with EastEnders star Bobby beaming for the cameras.
It comes amid reports of a family feud between Freddy and Jeff, which has descended into a legal battle.
Jeff has launched a lawsuit hoping to block his youngest son from seeing his maternal grandmother, Jackiey Budden.
After pictures allegedly surfaced of Freddy 'smoking a joint' with Jackiey, a source told The Sun: 'These pictures show exactly why Jeff is so worried about his son.
'Jackiey's influence over Freddy is harmful to his overall well-being. It's very sad that a grandmother would want to encourage her grandson to do something that could potentially be so damaging.'
Mail Online reported that Freddy has been living with Jackiey in her home in Bermondsley for a week amid legal proceedings.
It was also claimed that Freddy and Jeff are locked in a 'secret feud', with arguments between the pair causing Freddy to 'storm out' of their home to stay with Jackiey until it blows over.
In June, Freddy announced he would be entering a rehabilitation facility in a bid to have a 'healthy relationship' with his dad.
Taking to his Instagram Story with a lengthy message, he admitted to starting to smoke at the age of 12.
But in an interview with MailOnline days later, he declared he 'doesn't want to see' his dad, accusing him of being image-obsessed without consideration for 'his own sons'.
'It feels to me like he only cares about his own image. He doesn't think about anything that affects anyone else, not even his own sons,' he said.
He also said he was 'barely speaking' to his brother Bobby, but confirmed he was still in touch with Jackiey and that they have 'proper fun' while together.
Despite reports that he had 'turned his back on his dad', Bobby shut down rumours of a rift between him and Jeff earlier this year. More Trending
He also weighed in on the feud between Jeff and Freddy, saying his brother needs to 'grow up.'
'Freddy's very sensitive and wants to please. And when he grows up a little bit that will serve him well,' he told The Sun.
'There are things I don't like about him and there are things about me he doesn't like.
'Freddy will be OK, I don't know if he looks up to me, but I look up to him in many ways, but he's a good boy.'

Emmerdale newcomer Joe Absolom reveals dark story for drug dealer villain

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) AFTER making a dramatic debut on Emmerdale last month, Joe Absolom's new drug dealing character, Ray, keeps mysteriously disappearing – only to return with more dodgy antics up his sleeve. And this week, he is back again only this time, he scuppers any plans of a romantic date between April Windsor and her homeless pal, Dylan Penders. Sign up for the Entertainment newsletter Sign up 3 Joe Absolom has teased darkness for his Emmerdale villain Ray Credit: Getty 3 Joe plays the villainous Ray in Emmerdale and there are dark things ahead Credit: ITV 3 The actor shot to fame as Matthew in EastEnders Credit: BBC The pair had arranged to finally go out together but after Ray returns to the village again, Dylan suddenly abandons the plans. It soon becomes apparent he's being paid by Ray to deliver his drugs to clients in return for huge wads of cash. Dylan has also been trying to hide a stab wound by thug Kyle. For former EastEnders and Doc Martin star, Joe, 46, the plotlines have proved a blast to film with the actor going as far today to reveal he has always rated the soap as being the 'friendliest' since shooting to fame 25 years ago in EastEnders. He even admits he used to think some Hollyoaks' stars came across more like 'footballers' than soap actors. Joe reveals: 'Everyone has been so welcoming since I joined and I am loving filming the scenes. 'What is funny is years ago when we went to the Soap Awards, we – the EastEnders mob - would all say at the end of it, 'Emmerdale are the nicest lot'. 'You'd speak to these guys and you'd see the Hollyoaks' guys flexing, they would always wear white dinner jackets - slightly like footballers. 'Coronation Street were all interesting people. Emmerdale were always the most genuine and lovely people, so when I saw Jeff (Hordley), we were laughing about how we'd met many years ago. 'The fact they have been really nice since I arrived has helped.' He teases the plot lines will get very dark in the coming weeks with some drugs even going astray. Horrifying moment Emmerdale's April comes face to face with man who committed disgusting act on her while homeless 'It's also set to cause more upset for fan favourite Marlon Dingle as his daughter April, played by Amelia Flanagan, looks set to get embroiled in the drug drama. 'Ray is such a fun character to play,' adds Joe. 'We've been filming in the park and my character sees the youngsters as easy manipulation. 'I can't say too much but Ray has been handing over wads of cash! I get to peel off fifty pounds notes!' Last month, Joe revealed how his 14-year-old son, Casper – Cass for short - in particular thinks it is pretty cool his dad is playing a drug gangster. Today he confides, Cass,14, has been inspired to follow in his footsteps one day. And Joe – also a proud dad to Lyla, 18, and Daisy, 12 - says he has seen his own life flash before him as he encourages Cass to pursue his dreams. But he smiles as he reveals his son definitely doesn't have any plans to land a role in a soap. Instead, he's hoping to one day star in a Netflix drama. 'Cass wants to be an actor, 'says Joe. 'He is desperate. He is like 'dad I want to be on Stranger Things!' This is the YouTube and Netflix generation; they want to be in Marvel films!' Joe goes on to admit, however, he initially tried to put his son off before seeing just how talented he is. 'I told him 'Don't do it, get a proper job'. It's a strange business to go into and there is rejection. 'I do feel it as a parent but he is really good. Genuinely so and I have now helped him get an agent. He has been in Bugsy and he's had some very good auditions and got very close.' Reflecting on how much his life has turned a full circle, Joe adds: 'What is weird is my dad used to be my chaperone and what's weird is there I was recently sitting in Manchester taking him to an audition! It feels like the circle of life is turning.' How will he feel if Cass does land his first major TV role? 'It's surreal,' replies Joe. 'I've explained the risks and I do worry about the cost on a young mind and rejection but he says he is up for it! Fingers crossed!' Whilst Cass dreams of being the next Stranger Things star, Joe says the role of British soaps still have a huge one to play. He praises soap bosses for ensuring they can now be streamed, like Netflix shows. Says Joe: 'The way people watch TV is changing but soaps are finding their way in that people will come back to the recurring storylines. Soap's most harrowing teen storylines We take a look at other harrowing teen soap storylines from soaps Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks. Belle Dingle's schizophrenia in Emmerdale - Belle's (Eden Taylor-Draper) traumatic journey in Emmerdale took a dark turn when, after accidentally killing her best friend Gemma at just 16, her mental health began to spiral. The storyline, which saw Belle struggling with her grief and guilt, showcased her battle with hearing Gemma's voice inside her head, leading to a dramatic decline in her well-being. Hannah Ashworth's anorexia in Hollyoaks - Viewers were horrified as they watched Hannah (Emma Rigby), a seemingly innocent teen, spiral into dangerous behavior, starving herself in an attempt to achieve what she thought was the ideal body. As Hannah's condition worsened, the storyline became more intense, culminating in her being hospitalised for two months as she fought for her life. Bethany Platt's grooming ordeal in Coronation Street - Vulnerable schoolgirl, played by Lucy Fallon, was at the centre of one of Corrie's darkest storylines to date when she fell under the spell of her older boyfriend and sexual predator. The controversial scenes saw Nathan groom and manipulate the 16-year-old before coercing her into sleeping with his friends, with one of them raping her. Whitney Dean's abuse from Tony in EastEnders - Since the age of 12, she had been in a twisted relationship with her stepmum Bianca's boyfriend, Tony King. The predator had groomed young Whit (Shona McGarty), making her believe she was in love and planning to run away with him. On her 16th birthday, the traumatised teen finally revealed the years of abuse to Bianca. Tony was swiftly sent to prison sentenced for 13 years. 'They have characters who they love and the fact soaps are still part of the schedules on every channel is a testament to the work they put into it and the quality.' As for what lies ahead for Ray and his drug dealing and Joe warns: 'Ray is determined to get what he wants, so that lends itself to many different scenarios. 'If people say: 'we don't want to grow (the drugs) anymore', it puts everyone in a difficult situation. 'Ray knows what they are growing is so good and it sells well. He is very manipulative!' Emmerdale runs every weekdays on ITV1 and STV1 at 7.30pm.

MAFS' Adrienne Naylor breaks silence on cracking America on TV show The Challenge after painful injury

MAFS star Adrienne Naylor has broken her silence on taking part on The Challenge US after she sustained an injury early on but bravely carried on. The reality star made history as the first MAFS contestant to appear on an American TV show. 6 6 6 Adrienne, who starred on the E4 dating show in 2023, was treated by paramedics in the back of an ambulance in a preview clip on last night's episode. Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Adrienne said: "That was one thing I didn't anticipate was being injured and going into an ambulance, there's a preview of it in the first episode. "And you'll get to see what fully happens and what comes out, and then what it also leads to as well. So there's a lot to it. "In a foreign country going into an ambulance, not knowing where your fate then lies for the rest of the show, because, you know, I did not pack four suitcases, travel 24 hours to be sent home." The show sees competitors face grueling physical and mental challenges to win $500,000 in prize money in MTV's longest-running series. Adrienne, who regularly shows off gym videos following her fitness journey, said she nearly had to quit the process even before it had started, but was determined more than ever to not pull out. She said: "To be honest, I was so close at one point to saying that I couldn't go on the show because I wasn't prepared enough in my eyes. "I am very critical of myself. I've been on a huge weight loss journey, and the gym's always been there. "But towards the back end of last year I found myself a little bit lost, and I didn't know what direction I was going in, and I just launched a business. So I was trying to manage that. "Then I also had some really bad complications with contraception with the coil. Married At First Sight star Adrienne shows off her 'real body' in tiny bikini on holiday in Antigua "So I was on antibiotics for like two weeks before actually going, and I was like, I don't know if I can actually go. "I couldn't feel my legs. Yeah, it was really, really bad. "And I was like, I don't know if I can go. "But then I was like it's too much of a good experience, no matter how far I get to give this up. "And so I was like, I'm just going to go, even though I'm not as prepared as I was." BEATING MY FEARS The reality favourite admitted she overcame her biggest fears during the show - including being able to deal with the unexpected. "Every time we walked onto set we never, ever knew what it was going to be ever," Adrienne shared. "Many times in the Challenge House, where I think you have your doubts as to why you're there, and what's my purpose. Why am I here? Is this really worth it? "Because it is honestly one of the most demanding and hardest things, the stress on your body that it has." And just when you thought that process was hard enough, Adrienne teased that the series is packed full of drama, tears, rows and secrecy. "I'm not a crier, really but my god, I probably shed enough tears to fill a dam, and it was intense. It's a real emotion," she said. "There's a lot of arguments. There's a lot of big personalities all under one roof, and it can be challenging." But the stunning star from Cumbria admitted that she's a "social butterfly" and used that to her advantage when making alliances. She continued: "It did become stressful because sometimes the UK and America have a different sense of humor, especially with me, I've got such a Northern accent that sometimes they couldn't understand what I was saying. "But overall, for me I can adapt to a lot of situations, and I can adapt to people. "But there probably are a few people in there that I probably don't really care if I ever hear your voice again. "But then there's also a lot of love. There's a lot of people that I've made friends with from the show." NO MEAN FEAT Adrienne opened up about the physical and mental toll the gruelling yet rewarding show took on her. The fitness enthusiast said she prepared for the show with boxing training and building mental resilience after MAFS, following cruel trolling online. She said: "Even though I wasn't where I wanted to be physically, I felt like I still deserved to be there. "I'm so proud of myself for what I did accomplish on the show, and I think I've made a really good impact, and I would love to be reinvited back, and this time to be fitter and stronger. "Since I've been home I've literally been working my bum off in the gym. I've been running. I've been back boxing and just preparing myself when that call comes around because we're manifesting it." She also teased that some contestants will put their foot in it, while she had her own clever game plan when it came to the competition. "I wanted to kind of sit back, see how everything unraveled and play my cards from there, and I didn't want to overspill, " Adrienne said. "There's a lot of people that put their foot in things from having too much alcohol on the plate, and I was not going to be one of them. "There's so much going on you can never really be bored, because it's kind of like bam, bam, bam, bam, like every single episode, it's jam packed full of action, drama, tears, laughter, romance... there's lots of romance... every single thing is covered in one episode." ADRIENNE'S RETURN? Despite the gruelling process, Adrienne said she is gearing up to return to the show and will be in the best shape of her life when she does. She added: "I think if I get the phone call to go back, I'll be answering it in two seconds and say, 'when's my flight?' "And I've been back on my fitness journey properly, being really locked in. I've been running more, I've lived the experience, and I know what I need to do to make myself that bit better. "I feel very lucky and very grateful that things are finally aligned to how I want them to be. I think that I would be going in there as a fresh Adrienne. "Life's a bit more settled now, I will be able to fully focus and fully lock in and now that I've played it already and now I know how to play the game. And I would have a different mentality going in." 6 6 6

Georgia May Foote's husband speaks out on split as he works through 'time of destruction'

British soap star Georgia May Foote's husband, Kris Evans, has finally broken his silence amidst split rumours as he flees the UK and checks into a solo retreat Rumours about Coronation Street star Georgia May Foote's marriage have been swirling, and her musician husband has finally spoken out - with one mysterious message. Manchester musician and producer Kris Evans fled the country at the weekend, leaving his wife behind in their family home. His travels were taking him to Spain, where he checked himself into a retreat named La Sierra Casa Song Writing Camp in Alicante. It comes after reports earlier this month that the couple were "headed for divorce" and that the soap star was "looking to the future". Kris, 35, has since taken to social media to share an emotion-fuelled note that read, "In a time of destruction, write something." It appears it's not the first time the artist made a trip to the songwriting camp, as he posted about his time he spent there back in 2024. As part of their creative mission, the camp states: "Our camps are the number one stop for all things songwriting. Dive in headfirst; whether you're already established and looking for new inspiration/collaborations or you are new to the field and are looking for that boost of confidence to get you started, we have something for everyone." The camp has hosted a wide range of artists in the past, which they proudly state on their website. It reads: "We have already played host to many successful names such as Carl Barat of The Libertines, Callum Beattie, Blaine of The Mystery Jets, John McClure of Reverend & The Makers, Koolkid & Ili, Stuart Zender of Jamiroquai, Youth, and Ian Van Dahl. A real variety to cover all styles of music." Earlier this month rumours began to circulate that the successful pair were on the road to divorce, just two years after tying the knot, though no official statements have been made. Georgia has since removed her wedding ring, and any photos she shared online with her husband are nowhere to be found on her Instagram page—including the loved-up snaps from their wedding. The 34-year-old Corrie star said yes after Kris popped the question on New Year's Eve back in 2021, two years before their wedding. On the lead-up to the big day, Georgia shared her excitement online, writing: "I am about to marry my best friend. The person who makes me a better person. Here's to the last month of being a Foote." According to The Sun, a source confirmed that Georgia's marriage to Kris "seems to be over" and their relationship is "on the rocks." Although, despite signs of the split, the famous pair appear to be amicable and are thought to still be living together. A friend of the couple told The Sun: "Georgia has been through a lot recently, and it's not surprising that it has put strain on her marriage. She told friends that she wanted a fresh start after the terrible fire earlier this year, and she's just not sure where Kris fits into that. They are still on good enough terms to stay in their home together." Meanwhile, another source shared with The Sun that the couple's issues revolved around their financial situation. In 2015 Georgia's character was killed off from the cobbles in a car crash, and so she went on to star in a number of reality TV shows, including Strictly Come Dancing. She candidly told the Sausage on a Fork podcast this week that she has had a 'nightmare' when it comes to her career and booking acting jobs. Georgia shared: "I came back in the December of 2020, and I just realised, "Oh my God, there's no work." "Everything that got stopped filming in the UK then got put on a back burner, and then there was a backlog of what was about to start filming. Then everything behind that took four years to come out, and then we had the writers' strikes.' It's just been a nightmare. And that's why this has been the quietest I've ever been in my life. I think a lot of actors around the world will say the exact time." In what was already a stressful time with work, Georgia was faced with yet another challenge when her nail salon burnt down last month. The business was a part-time venture of hers that she struck up to earn some extra income during her lack of screen time. In the events of the fire, the actress created a crowdfunding page, raising money to get hers and other affected businesses back on track. She shared: "Within two hours the whole building was alight, and the whole thing burnt down. We weren't allowed back in there, and nothing has been salvaged. "Four years' worth of products and stock and everything. We can't get back to work without that stuff. It's thousands of pounds of stuff. You can't just go and buy it." The fundraiser went on to surpass the £12,000 mark, which the star was "really pleased with," as it will help the other women affected, who have lost their sole income. She added: "At the same time, I lost a lot of money in that fire. But people have lost entire homes worth of stuff that can't be replaced."
