'Kung Fury 2' Sizzle Reel Of Arnold Schwarzenegger & Michael Fassbender Killing Nazis Leaked
A visually intense, bat-shit crazy, high-octane 10-minute sizzle reel for 'Kung Fury 2' has been leaked, revealing Arnold Schwarzenegger as a gun-toting President, and Michael Fassbender as a mullet-sporting police officer in the vein of Martin Riggs from the Lethal Weapon series.
Originally a 2015 crowd-funded 30-minute short-film by Swedish filmmaker David Sandberg, who also starred as Kung Fury, a supernaturally-imbued martial arts-kicking police officer, the 31-minute was a throwback to the 80s action films and arcade video games, with over-the-top action and green screen special effects.
Hailed by audiences who embraced the visual gags, intentionally old-fashioned visual effects, bad acting and nonsensical plot, the online short has since garnered over 40 million views and plans were made to create a full-length movie sequel. Production started in 2018 and while it was completed in 2024, release of the film, starring Schwarzenegger, Fassbender, and David Hasselhoff did not proceed due to legal issues with the film's financiers.
Over the weekend, the 10-minute reel, which reveals the new characters for the sequel, and much of the film's narrative was leaked online and while it has been taken down, copies started popping up everywhere.
The film's director and lead actor, David Sandberg, has told Variety that the sizzle reel contains spoilers for the film, unfinished visual effects and was never intended for public consumption. Footage shows the return of Adolf Hitler (Jorma Taccone) aka Kung Führer, an army of sci-fi rejects as new characters, a plot twist, and the return of Hasselhoff as Hoff 9000, a member of Fury's team who transforms into a car ala K.I.T.T from TV's Knight Rider that saw Hasselhoff as the lead.
'I hope at least people can see the passion that we poured into the movie, the world deserves to see it as it was meant to be seen. This movie has been held hostage for the past 5 years but I promise to keep fighting for it and make sure this film gets the chance it truly deserves.'

CD Projekt's 'Cyberpunk 2' Sequel Enters Pre-Production, Won't Be Out Until 2030
CD Projekt has announced that its follow-up to 2020's Cyberpunk 2077 , simply known as Cyberpunk 2 , has entered the pre-production phase of development. The studio made the announcement as part of its latest financial announcement, which also highlighted the latest sales milestone for the original game's expansion, Phantom Liberty , which has sold 10 million copies to date. 'Given these developments, it fills me with even greater satisfaction to announce another important stage in our work on the next big game in this franchise,' said chief financial officer Piotr Nielubowicz, 'Several weeks ago, Cyberpunk 2 — previously referred to as Project Orion — wrapped up its conceptual phase and entered pre-production. Congratulations to the entire team!' While this reveal might be exciting, fans are in for a long wait, as the game is still far from being released. When responding to a question suggesting that the sequel will follow the original's development timelines, thus placing its release date somewhere between late 2030 and early 2031, Nowakowski did not disagree. 'I can reiterate in a way what I said in one of the previous calls, which was basically that our journey from pre-production to final release takes four to five years on average,' he explained. 'Having said that, keep in mind that each project is unique, and there are many variables that influence the final outcome. Warhammer Skulls Showcase Unveils Retro FPS Sequel 'Boltgun 2' And Free Typing Game Spin-Off
It's time to grab your chainswords and purge the heretics, as the Warhammer Skulls showcase last week has revealed a host of Warhammer 40K video games in store, including boomer-shooter sequel Boltgun 2 , tactical RPG Dark Heresy , a few classic game remasters and a free Boltgun typing spin-off. Kicking things off, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 , the sequel to developer Auroch Digital's 2023 retro FPS shooter, is heading to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC sometime in 2026, bringing more old-school shooting action in a single-player campaign that picks off right after the events of the original, promising new locations, weapons and enemies like Bloodletters and Juggernauts. News of a sequel might be enough to excite fans, but Auroch Digital has gone one step further with the release of a typing game spin-off, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun – Words of Vengeance , a free-to-play 'first-person typing game' where instead of pointing and shooting, players need to type out words on the screen to defeat foes, with a range of randomised words and phrases from Warhammer 40K lore. Best of all, the game is available to download right now on Steam. The Boltgun series wasn't the only Warhammer 40K franchise spotlighted at the showcase, as developer Owlcat, known for its Pathfinder series and Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader , also announced its upcoming tactical RPG Warhammer 40000: Dark Heresy , a narrative-driven turn-based adventure set to feature 'intricate investigations' and 'choices that carry grave consequences'. Finally, Relic's 2011 third-person shooter Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine is also getting an enhanced Master Crafted Edition by developer SneakyBox. This updated version will feature '4K resolution, modernised controls, an interface overhaul, improved character models and remastered audio', and will land on the Xbox Series X|S, PC and Game Pass on 10 June 2025.
