Ross McLaren, 22, originally wanted to be a professional Fortnite player and spent hours at home practising.
Ross has muscular dystrophy - a disease which causes muscles in the body to weaken over time - but he thinks that was an 'advantage' in his career.
He said: 'Having muscular dystrophy was somewhat of an advantage for me as it meant I spent a lot more time on a computer when I was younger, as I couldn't go out and play sports like other kids.'
His dreams of becoming a 'pro Fortnite player' were dashed when he realised he 'wasn't good enough' to match up to some of the best players in the world.
However, Ross knew that he could put his talents to good use.
At the age of 17, while still living with his parents Lesley and Craig, he decided to manage other players.
His career quickly took off and he began to make an eye-watering sum of money.
Ross said: 'By summer 2021, I was making £10,000 per month, and I told my parents I didn't want to sit my Advanced Highers.'
His parents encouraged him to go back to school, but Ross quit after just one day.
Ross said that he got his big break when he worked with Bugha, a streamer who only had 20,000 followers at the time.
Gamer granny 'hooked' on Fortnite at 76 - and says it was 'love at first sight' after amassing 20k followers on Twitch
When Bugha won the Fortnite World Cup in 2018 and won $3 million, his subscriber count rocketed to one million.
Soon, Ross became inundated with business opportunities with players begging him to edit videos of them playing the game.
After leaving George Heriot's School, the tech expert started running KSI's gaming channel; - which has over 22 million subscribers.
As his star continues to rise, Ross is eyeing a move to Dallas, Texas, where many of the biggest Fortnite streamers are based.
The news comes after the makers of an online game with 40 million players will be removed from two consoles.
Black Desert Online has long been one of the most popular games in the industry, but will soon no longer be available on PS4 and XBox One.
Players will have to buy a Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 to play the game from June 26.
The game's developers, Pearl Abyss, said: "We understand that this news may be disappointing for our longtime Adventurers on these platforms.
"Please know that this decision was made after careful consideration, with the goal of ensuring the future growth and evolution of Black Desert Console.
"We remain fully committed to delivering you the best possible adventures in Black Desert."

Vid shows Disneyland Paris ‘wedding rehearsal' ahead of ‘marriage' of ‘confused' girl, 9, to Brit man before his arrest

Around 100 children aged five to 15, along with their families, were reportedly recruited as 'guests' DISNEY CREEP Vid shows Disneyland Paris 'wedding rehearsal' ahead of 'marriage' of 'confused' girl, 9, to Brit man before his arrest CREEPY footage has emerged of an alleged mock "wedding" between a British man and a nine-year-old girl at Disneyland Paris. A video released by French network BFM TV shows around 100 guests seated during the £111,000 ceremony in front of the iconic Sleeping Beauty castle. In the video filmed on Saturday at dawn, a flower-covered stage, lavish décor, a grand cake and musicians can be seen. But what they witnessed next would leave them horrified - appearing on stage as the 'bride' was a nine-year-old girl. The child, reportedly of Ukrainian nationality, was carried out as she could not walk in the extravagant bridal dress. Advertisement Disney staff immediately called police upon spotting a "scared and confused" child in a big dress with four-inch heels taped to her feet, reports French newspaper Le Parisien. Disneyland Paris was reportedly deceived about the nature of the event, as reported by The Sun earlier today. The park said it had rented out the grounds of the Sleeping Beauty Castle under the impression that a genuine wedding rehearsal would take place - not an event involving a minor. The event cost the organisers $130,000 (£111,000), BFM reported. Advertisement The organiser is said to have assumed the "identity of a Latvian national", using "false documents to secure the conclusion of the contract for privatising the park", BFM TV reports. According to Le Parisien, the man, 22, had presented himself "as a future Irish groom living in Germany". French cops confirm husband killed wife then took own life in horror murder-suicide at holiday home Cops are said to have immediately arrested the "groom", who later insisted that the purpose of the ceremony was to create a video for social media. But Disney staff said recording is strictly forbidden, adding that "the man may have devised this subterfuge to obtain images of the park". Advertisement The girl's 41-year-old mother, reportedly Ukrainian, was also arrested. She said she wanted her daughter to feel like a Disney "princess" for the day, according to DW News. 200 adult guests and 100 children aged five to 15 were said to have been recruited online through ads describing a "chic and elegant" "rehearsal" wedding, Le Parisien reported. They were allegedly paid €200 each and told to "enter the room, sit down, stand up, applaud and participate naturally and elegantly in this event filmed in a festive and classy atmosphere". Advertisement A statement issued by the prosecutor's office in the local town of Meaux read: "Four people were arrested and questioned: the groom, who was believed to be the organiser of the event and is presumed to be British and aged 22; the mother of the child, a 41-year-old Ukrainian woman; and two Latvian nationals aged 55 and 24." A 55-year-old man claimed he was hired to play the role of the "bride's" dad for 12,000 euros (£10,266) - and only discovered her age at the event, local news reports. The prosecutor's statement added that "police custody of the British suspect and a Latvian national was also extended on charges of fraud and money laundering". A criminal investigation has been opened, according to the prosecutor's office. Advertisement It added that a medical examination confirmed the child had not suffered any violence. 7 The man posing as the 'groom' claimed he was the director of a production company and they were shooting a video Credit: Instagram 7 A guest said they were left utterly 'stunned' when they realised the bride was a child Credit: Officials say they are still trying to understand the nature of the event. Advertisement The man posing as the "groom" claimed that he was the director of a production company and that they were shooting a video, a police source told Le Parisien. A witness, who said they had been a guest at the event, told the newspaper: "We all thought we were going to attend a wedding... "Everyone was stunned, no one expected it. Disneyland did things very well. "They cancelled everything as soon as they realized the bride was a child. We were shocked to see that." Advertisement Witness Yeleen, who attended the ceremony as a guest with her daughter, said: "I saw a little girl dressed in white. "I saw her hair prepared with curls and a lady picking her up in her arms. "At that moment, I was shocked. I realised when I saw the child. It was atrocious." The prosecutor's office said: "So it wasn't a wedding, but a staged wedding filmed with around a hundred extras. Advertisement "They privatised Disneyland Paris, pretending it was a real wedding." They are set to appear before a judge at Meaux judicial court on Monday as part of a formal judicial investigation. 7 The iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle Credit: AFP 7 Around 12 million tourists are said to visit Disneyland Paris each year Credit: Alamy

John Clark put world's best player in his pocket and Celtic hero would amaze me until the very end, writes Bill Leckie

THERE will never be another football man like John Clark. I don't write this as some romantic statement borne of sadness at his passing. Sign up for the Celtic newsletter Sign up 4 Lisbon Lion John Clark sadly passed away today at the age of 84 Credit: PA 4 After winning several trophies with Celtic, he became the club's kit man Credit: PA 4 Bill Leckie has been looking back at the Celtic hero's life Credit: John Kirkby - The Sun Glasgow Just as a simple fact that they don't make them like him any more. A boy who climbed out of the Lanarkshire mines to win a European Cup. A man whose work ethic kept him turning up to graft behind the scenes into his 70s. An inspiration not only as a player who wrung every last ounce out of his ability, but as a mentor to generations of hopefuls who came to him for guidance in the decades after he hung up the boots. A gentleman and a gentle man, devoted to his family and loyal to his friends. As decent and humble a human being as you could ever be fortunate enough to meet. And, up until very recently, someone most who knew him would have seen as pretty damn indestructible. He always cut that sort figure; ageless, tireless, able to cope with whatever life threw his way. Yet just as injury cut short his top-flight career with Celtic when he was at his trophy-winning peak, so illness has taken him three months after his 84th birthday. What a career it was, though. What a life. Both played out with joy, with pride - and, as was thrown into the sharpest of reliefs in his later years, with a total absence of ego. In the days when journalists still travelled with the team, it never ceased to amaze me that someone who'd won the European Cup was bustling around far-flung airports at all hours, humphing hampers when he could - maybe should - have been there as a VIP. But there he was, every day at training and on matchdays at home and abroad, doing his bit for the cause of the club he loved, long after most of his age were up for nothing more strenuous than a game of bowls. He'd been the defensive linchpin of Jock Stein's all-conquering cavaliers, he'd been assistant manager to his great friend Billy McNeill, now he was in charge of the kit. And whatever the role, John gave it every bit of himself, he never let his standards drop. What's holding up Nygren Plus Kuhn & Maeda price tags REVEALED Celtic transfer special This absence of do-you-know-who-I-am-ness, the fact that you could see him go about his business without having a clue that he'd once had the greatest player on earth on his pocket, was - for me at least - a huge part of what made him special. It was 59 years ago tomorrow when I saw Scotland play for the first time, a 1-1 draw with Brazil on the eve of the World Cup. I was too young to remember much about it, but dad always raved about how a guy called John Clark had marked Pele out of the game; not with studs and elbows the way defenders would in England a week or two later, but with his timing and positioning and innate understanding of the game. Newspaper reports would always refer to him striding out of crowded penalty boxes, barrel chest puffed, bringing calm to chaos. Right until the end, he still carried himself the same way, he was forever officer material. At the peak of his fitness - not of mention of Celtic's greatness - he was also reliable as a Swiss watch. Between the April of 1965 and September of 1967, Clark played 140 consecutive competitive games for Celtic on his way to winning six league titles, three Scottish Cups and five League Cups. Some would be dining out on a record like that for the rest of their puff. John Clark preferred quiet dinners at home, where no one pried about who he was and what he'd done. Who he was and what he did, though, will be remembered forever. He may not have been indestructible after all. But his immortality was assured a long time ago. 4 Clark during his heyday for Celtic Credit: PA Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page
