TJ Palma's Ex Claims He Reached Out Right Before ‘Love Island: USA': ‘I'm Gonna Marry You'
With Love Island: USA season 7 airing for quite some time now, based on a bit of social media sleuthing, fans are starting finding out some disappointing (to say the least) things about the pasts of the islanders we have grown to know and love.
With a quick social media stalk revealing that Cierra Ortega has previously used a racial slur not once, but twice — much like Yulissa Escobar, who was swiftly removed from the show after three days — even fan favorite islanders have pasts that are rather questionable.
The next individual who had their dirty laundry aired out was TJ Palma, a 23-year-old entrepreneur from Pleasantville, New York.
For those who need a refresher, TJ entered the villa on day 14 as a bombshell alongside Andreina Santos. Despite instantly hitting it off with Iris Kendall, the Casa Amor twist began swiftly after his arrival, leaving TJ single for the first half of the experience, and coupled up with Vanna Einerson for the second half of the experience.
Although he seemingly had a spark with Vanna, TJ chose Iris at the recoupling ceremony on day 20 instead, and things have smooth sailing ever since.
Well, that is until a statement from his ex, Jessica Musraca, has caused fans of the Love Island franchise to question TJ's true intentions...
On a recent episode of Gossip With Grace: Unfiltered, hosted by pop culture expert Grace Parisi, Jessica sat down to talk about her former relationship with the fan favorite islander, admitting that they were in communication just hours before his arrival — yikes!
"He texted me the night before he left to go on Love Island," Jessica boldly claimed, prior to delving into the details of what this alleged message actually entailed.
"I won't read it word for word, but basically he sent me a song called like, 'You're The Love Of My Life,' and he was like, 'I'm gonna marry you and I love you.' That's what he said to me," she continued — how wild is that?
To follow this statement, Jessica confirmed that "it was definitely a drunk text" from the ex-college baseball player, as it took place "at 3:00 AM" and "he texted the next day like, 'I apologize for saying that.'"
Nevertheless, Jessica concluded the conversation, "Two days later, I find out he's like on Love Island," which naturally came as a shock.
Although TJ and Iris are as cute as can be, is he really there for the right reasons if he allegedly told another woman "I'm gonna marry you and I love you" just hours before his stint on the show? To see for yourself, tune into brand new episodes of Love Island: USA season 7 every day — except Wednesdays — via Peacock.
Needless to say, we are on the edge of our seats...

Revealing that he was just 13 years old when he saw Blunt perform live at the exact same stadium while opening for over twenty years ago, Sheeran recalled being instantly "obsessed" with Blunt's music. "My dad took me to Cambridge junction to see him months after, and he became my favourite singer songwriter," Sheeran wrote of Blunt. "His songs moulded me, his performing inspired me." Sheeran said he "wanted to be" just like Blunt so much that he even went on to sign with the same management and record label as Blunt, and the pair have now been friends for "well over a decade." Sheeran, who is even a godfather to one of Blunt's sons, said the "You're Beautiful" singer is one of his "close mates" now, which is why he asked him to perform at his final show in Ipswich on Sunday night. "I asked him to do the final night at ipswich because of that gig 21 years ago where I saw him at the same venue," Sheeran recalled. "And I asked him to sing my favourite songs of his tonight, because he, and the song, mean so much to me." He then told Blunt, "Thank you James for coming today. I know you finished your South American tour two days ago, and you should be resting, but you flew to ipswich to sing with me. And it meant the world." The "Shivers" singer said his duet with Blunt is now in his "Top 3 favourite moments on stage of all time." He concluded his post by adding, "Don't meet your hero's, unless your hero's are James blunt. 'Harry Potter' Star Set To Appear in Ed Sheeran's Latest Music Video originally appeared on Parade. Ed Sheeran announced some exciting news for fans on Monday morning. The English pop singer took to Instagram to share that his upcoming single 'A Little More' will drop this Thursday, and the video will star Rupert Grint, the beloved actor known for his role as Ron Weasley in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. The duo first teased that something was in the works last Thursday on Instagram, sending fans into a frenzy. Sheeran and Grint have long been linked in pop culture thanks to their striking resemblance and similar ginger hair — a running joke among fans. Back in 2011, the 36-year-old actor famously appeared in Sheeran's "Lego House" music video, which quickly became a fan favorite. "14 years later me and @rupertgrint are reunited. I had this wild idea after writing the song, and thankfully rupert was up for it," the 34-year-old singer wrote. "It's an utterly bonkers video for a very upbeat, fun, but angry song. Think this one is gonna be a lot of people's fav song from Play. Out Thursday, watch out for more stuff coming x." Not only is Sheeran gearing up to release his eighth studio album Play, on Sept. 12, but the 'Photograph' singer has also been on his +−=÷× Tour since 2022, returning to Europe for another leg this summer. Over the past three months, he has also dropped multiple singles ahead of the album, including 'Azizam,' 'Old Phone' and two versions of 'Sapphire,' one featuring Indian composer Arijit Singh. Tate McRae Honors Popular '60s Writer in Latest Post
Tate McRae Honors Popular '60s Writer in Latest Post originally appeared on Parade. On Wednesday, Tate McRae posted an upward photo to her Instagram of her lying down on Hollywood Blvd with her legs extended over a cracked and crushed Hollywood Walk of Fame star. The 22-year-old stunned in a sheer, sparkly blue dress paired with clear heels and her hair worn down. In the caption, the Canadian pop star quoted beloved writer Anaïs Nin, who was popular in the 1960s and 1970s. "I'm restless. Things are calling me away. My hair is being pulled by the stars again - Anaïs nin," McRae wrote. The quote is from Nin's diary, Fire: From a Journal of Love, which was written from 1934-1937, but wasn't published until 1995. While the Canadian singer's caption quoted a well-known line from Nin, many fans suspected the post could be a teaser for a deluxe version of her most recent project, So Close To What, pointing to the dramatic visuals and tone. The "Sports car" singer released her third album, So Close To What, in February and is currently on her Miss Possessive Tour. Last month, she wrapped up the European leg and is set to continue touring across North America, starting at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada, on August 4. Nin was a French-Cuban-American writer best known for her deeply personal diaries, which spanned decades and offered an intimate look into her thoughts on art, relationships and sexuality. Born in 1903 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, she became a pioneering figure in feminist literature, admired for her lyrical prose and exploration of the female psyche. Nin also published experimental fiction, including House of Incest and Delta of Venus. Decades later, her work continues to influence the next generation of writers and artists around the world. The writer died of cancer in Los Angeles on January 14, 1977. She was 73 years old. Even if fans missed the reference, McRae's nod to Nin shows she's inspired by more than just current trends. It's clear she's pulling inspiration from the past, adding a thoughtful layer to her identity as a young McRae Honors Popular '60s Writer in Latest Post first appeared on Parade on Jul 24, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Jul 24, 2025, where it first appeared.
