A man has died after a tractor crashed into hedges and cars.The incident happened in Fiddington near Monks Lane in Tewkesbury at around 23:25 BST, close to the site where the Severn Vale Vintage Club show had been taking place.The passenger, a man aged in his 50s, sustained serious injuries and died at the scene - his next of kin have been made aware, police said.A man aged in his 20s, who is believed to have been driving the tractor, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving while unfit through alcohol.
Following the incident, Severn Vale Vintage Club organisers have closed the event which was due to continue on Sunday.Gloucestershire Constabulary has made an appeal for any witnesses to come forward.

A pensioner has allegedly been murdered at his home with police arresting a woman who was 'known to him'. The 88-year-old man was found dead by officers at a property in the Winton area of Bournemouth on Saturday after Dorset Police received a report by the ambulance service raising concern over his welfare. After making enquiries, police then arrested a woman, 60, on suspicion of murder. The supect remains in police custody. A police cordon remains in place as officers continue their investigation. Detective Chief Inspector Neil Third, of the Major Crime Investigation Team, said: 'Following the discovery of the body, we have launched an investigation to establish the full circumstances surrounding the death, which is currently being treated as unexplained. 'I am keen to speak to anyone who has seen any suspicious activity around the address since Friday 18 July 2025 to please come forward. 'You may have vital details to help us establish what has happened. 'To enable us to gather as much information as possible about circumstances surrounding the man's death, and in order to provide legal protection for the individual, we have made an arrest. 'There will be an increased police presence in the area while we work to establish what has happened and we would encourage anyone with information or concerns to please speak with an officer.'

A BODY of a 88-year-old man has been found by emergency services with cops arresting a woman on suspicion of murder. Detectives are investigating after the man was found in a property in Bournemouth, Dorset. Police raced to the scene at 12.57pm yesterday, called by the ambulance service. A 88-year-old local man was found dead at the address, and a police cordon is currently in place while an investigation is carried out. His next of kin have been informed. Cops arrested a 60-year-old woman from Bournemouth on suspicion of murder and she remains in police custody. Police said in a statement: "She is believed to be known to the deceased man."
