BLACKPINK To Headline Rock In Rio 2026 With Rock Band Linkin Park?
Rock in Rio, one of the world's biggest music festivals, has started the countdown to its 11th edition, scheduled for June 2026. The festival has already confirmed major performers, with Linkin Park announced as one of the headliners. Adding to the excitement, social media is buzzing with speculation that BLACKPINK may also be part of the lineup, alongside American singer SZA. However, the official artist list released so far does not include the K-pop group, sparking debate among fans over whether their appearance could be a surprise reveal later.
This is not the first time BLACKPINK's name has been linked to the festival. Back in 2024, there were similar rumours that Jisoo, Jennie, Rose and Lisa might perform, but it never happened. The new rumours surfaced after the K-pop group had been keeping fans excited with their busy schedule. Since ending their break, the group has been performing at several international music festivals and continuing their tour. Their presence on stage this year has fuelled fresh talk that they might be added to the Rock in Rio 2026 lineup.

Right now, the group is busy with their Deadline tour, but it has not been confirmed if Brazil will be one of their stops. Rock in Rio attract massive crowds to the City of Rock in Rio de Janeiro every year. For 2026, the event is expected to feature top artists. Fans are eagerly waiting to see if Jisoo, Jennie, Rose and Lisa will join the stage alongside the already announced stars.
The 2026 Rock in Rio festival is set to happen in two weekends, first on June 20–21 and later on June 27–28. The first big headliner announced is Linkin Park, the iconic band, which will return to the stage after more than a decade. Their last performance in the country was 11 years ago.

Anita Advani says Rajesh Khanna's family abandoned him yet inherited his entire property while she got nothing: 'You can't escape Karma'
Anita Advani, who recently revealed that she was secretly married to India's first superstar Rajesh Khanna and lived together for nearly 12 years, has revealed new details about his final years, his family's absence, and the property battle that continues to this day. 'Everyone had left him' When asked why his family did not support him despite having such a 'beautiful family' — two actress daughters, Twinkle and Rinke, son-in-law Akshay Kumar , and wife Dimple Kapadia — Anita said on REEL Meet REAL, 'She (Dimple) had left him in 1982, and for 30 years, she had no connection with him. He had already lost everything by then; everyone had left him. He was stuck in between. He wasn't even getting a divorce, so he remained trapped. No divorce, no resolution.' Family inherited property, not her Despite years of togetherness, Anita said she was left with nothing. 'The discussion did take place but in the end, when he was not even conscious, everything was done in such a way that it went completely out of control — beyond anyone's reach, including his own. Yet, the family got his entire property. That in itself is a big story.' She added that she has been locked in legal battles ever since, with the case still ongoing in the High Court. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like American Investor Warren Buffett Recommends: 5 Books For Turning Your Life Around Blinkist: Warren Buffett's Reading List Undo 'Recently, I even received a statement from the Supreme Court. Anita Advani claims right over Rajesh Khanna's bungalow 'No one takes anything with them' Reflecting on greed and betrayal, Anita said, 'No one takes anything with them when they go. So why cheat like this? No one can eat or carry so much money after death. Then why such greed? Every relationship deserves respect. In my heart, I know — everyone should get what they rightfully deserve. Karma comes around on its own. No matter how smart you think you are, you can't escape karma.' Bond with Anju Mahendru The conversation also touched upon Rajesh Khanna's past relationships, particularly with actress Anju Mahendru, who was in his life before his marriage to Dimple. Clarifying her equation with Anju, Anita said, 'Anju is a very good friend of mine. I often visit her; we've known each other for years now. She never asked for anything. She told me herself she didn't want anything. She is a wonderful human being, like a sister to me. ' On whether injustice was done to Anju too, Anita responded, 'She herself said she didn't want to marry him. The truth is, he was a very difficult man. A difficult person, no doubt about it. Ask any woman who was in his life, and she will say the same. That's why Anju ultimately decided not to marry him.' Justine Lindsay, NFL's first transgender cheerleader, quits Carolina Panthers; fans think they know why
Justine Lindsay is parting ways with the Carolina Panthers, marking an end to their stint with the NFL club that saw her make history by becoming the first transgender cheerleader for the sport, when she joined in 2022. Justine Lindsay said her next focus is to be a sportscaster(Instagram/justinesimone_) Speaking on the decision to quit the job with the TopCats, Lindsay told Outsports 'For now, I'm focusing on my pageantry work and community involvement, striving to be recognized not just as an NFL cheerleader, but as someone making a positive impact, especially during these uncertain times.' She did not want to elaborate beyond their comment and no official reason was stated for the departure. Notably, the Panthers have also not spoken publicly about Lindsay's departure. Lindsay's decision comes during a season when several NFL teams are facing flak for having male cheerleaders. It started with the Minnesota Vikings, but the Philadelphia Eagles is finding itself in the eye of the storm now as well. Her decision to walk away has left fans guessing as to what might be the reason. Here are some responses. Fans think they know why Justine Lindsay is stepping down Social media is abuzz with the news of Lindsay stepping down, and some fans think they know why. 'Of course, transphobic harassment is a major reason... It's the damage that bigotry does,' one fan said. Another remarked, 'Sounds like they paid [them] to step down.' Yet another said, 'More money in pageants…'. While some comments did wonder at why Lindsay was moving on, most expressed conservative views about a transgender cheerleader's inclusion in the first place, mimicking the vitriol the male cheerleaders have been facing from some NFL fans this time around. Hindustan Times cannot verify the authenticity of these claims. No official reason behind Lindsay's decision. What's next for Justine Lindsay? Speaking to Outsports, Lindsay said 'Being in the NFL was a stepping stone to get me where I need to be, and God is blessing me each and everyday giving me the breath to do the work and change lives. My focus is to educate and uplift the younger generation of leaders to focus on their dreams and goals. Don't let a president who is delusional stop them from reaching their goals whether they are trans, African American, not American, etc.' She said her next focus is to be a sportscaster, and go to school to further her career. 'I'll see you all next year on a football field, either conducting interviews or on the sidelines showing off my dance skills,' she said.
