This Man Got India's First MG Cyberster As A Gift From His Wife

India's first MG Cyberster electric sports car was delivered in a heartwarming birthday surprise, showcasing its powerful performance and sleek design. Morris Garages (MG) has launched its very first electric sports car in India, called the Cyberster. The new model has started reaching MG Select dealerships nationwide, and deliveries have officially commenced. One special delivery was captured in a video shared on Instagram, where a man named Vishu Gowda was surprised with the brand-new Cyberster by his wife and children on his birthday. The video shows a big birthday party arranged by Vishu's family, with friends and guests gathered to celebrate. After some interactions and greetings, Vishu's wife leads him to the lawn where his new MG Cyberster is parked. His genuine surprise and happiness are visible as he takes in the sight of the sleek electric sports car. A Closer Look at the MG Cyberster The MG Cyberster is a powerful and feature-packed electric sports car designed to turn heads. It is inspired by MG's classic MGB Roadster but comes with a modern twist. The car features stylish butterfly doors, a long hood, a convertible roof, bright LED headlights, and large 20-inch wheels that give it a true sports car look. Despite its sporty design, the Cyberster is fully electric, making it MG's high-performance electric offering. Under the hood, the Cyberster is equipped with a 77 kWh battery and a dual-motor system. The power distribution sends 60 per cent of the power to the rear wheels and 40 per cent to the front, helping it deliver impressive speed and handling. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, making it the fastest MG model to date, according to the company. Performance and Features The MG Cyberster packs a punch with 510 horsepower and 725 Nm of torque, making it not just quick but also fun to drive. Its claimed driving range is about 580 kilometres on a single charge, though real-world use might give around 400 kilometres, which is excellent for a sports car in this segment. MG has loaded the Cyberster with several premium features. Inside, there is a triple-screen setup for infotainment and controls, automatic climate control with seat ventilation, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and a 360-degree camera for easy parking and manoeuvring. The seats are powered and comfortable, while the car also offers conveniences like an electronic parking brake with auto hold, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a high-quality audio system. One of the coolest features is the convertible roof, which can open or close in just 10 seconds. The roof can even be operated while driving at speeds up to 50 km/h, making it perfect for those sunny days or starry nights. Where to Buy and Price top videos View all MG is selling the Cyberster exclusively through its MG Select dealerships across India. The electric sports car comes with a price tag of Rs 75 lakh (ex-showroom). For those looking for a unique blend of style, performance, and eco-friendly driving, the Cyberster offers an exciting new option in the Indian market. view comments Location : Delhi, India, India First Published: August 12, 2025, 10:57 IST News auto This Man Got India's First MG Cyberster As A Gift From His Wife Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
