Royal Enfield has expanded its apparel offering and introduced a new 'Urban Outerwear' segment, targeting city riders with gear designed to blend everyday style and certified protection. The collection includes two core pieces- the Urbanite Hoodie and the Phoenix Leather Jacket, both designed for daily commuting and urban exploration.
'The Urban Outerwear collection is engineered to offer functional, approachable style suitable for both riding and everyday wear,' said Royal Enfield's chief commercial officer Yadvinder Singh Guleria in a press release. 'This highlights our commitment to providing high-quality gear that prioritises both style and rider protection.'
The Urbanite Hoodie features a softshell construction with four-way stretch, CE-certified Class A protection, and Royal Enfield Ergo Pro Tech CE Level 2 armour on the elbows and shoulders. Reinforced with 600D polyester at impact zones, the hoodie balances abrasion resistance with comfort and functionality, according to the label.
The Phoenix Jacket, crafted from 100% genuine leather, offers CE-certified Class AA protection. It includes titanium sliders, mesh lining for ventilation, and Safe Tech CE Level 2 back armour. With perforated panels and stretch zones, the jacket is tailored for both mobility and durability.
The launch is supported by complementary riding gear such as helmets, gloves, boots, and sneakers, as well as lifestyle accessories including caps, bags, and mugs. Priced at INR 8,990 for the hoodie and INR 19,990 for the jacket, the collection is available in select Royal Enfield stores and on its direct to customer e-commerce store and is designed to engage motorcycle enthusiasts across India.

Royal Enfield Apparel expands rider-focused apparel offering with 'Conscious' line

Royal Enfield has expanded its sustainable apparel offering with the Conscious Collection, a clothing range designed under its Green Pursuit initiative. The new line is made with natural materials, furthering the brand's commitment to responsible craftsmanship and its ethos of 'Ride Green. Ride Pure.' The Conscious Collection is made using recycled materials, Himalayan grass, natural dyes and organic cotton, the brand announced in a press release. Available in four tones- beige from tea leaves, green from pomegranate rind, off-white from natural bio, and mauve from acacia catechu, the collection is built to reflect the colours of nature. Labels, tags, and packaging are crafted for reuse, with the latter doubling as travel pouches. 'The Green Pursuit is an initiative that focuses on giving back to the environment while continuing our pursuit of 'Pure Motorcycling',' said Royal Enfield's chief commercial officer Yadvinder Singh in a press release. 'With the Conscious Collection, we embrace intentional, purpose-driven craftsmanship… by reimagining [waste] into something new.' The collection features three fabric blends: a cotton and recycled cotton jersey knit, a recycled cotton-polyester pique, and a HimGra-based woven fabric. HimGra, a patented Himalayan grass fibre, is waterless and low-impact in production. Priced from Rs 1,600, the line is designed to reinforce Royal Enfield's approach to combining sustainability, function and style, while extending the brand's lifestyle offering beyond motorbikes.

Newbie set to open in Windsor shortly, expansion plan aims for 13 UK stores this year

True to its word, sustainable baby/children's/women's lifestyle brand Newbie has continued the rollout of its UK store programme with Windsor, Berkshire, coming into play on 5 June. As announced earlier this month, it will be the Swedish Kappahl Group-owned brand's' ninth store store (including Bromley, south London, earlier this month) with another four launching in strategic locations across London and the UK for a total tally of 13 by year-end. Specifically, it opens in Windsor Yards, Windsor Royal Shopping Centre, with the 131 sq m space offering a complete wardrobe for children aged from newborn to eight years, featuring hand-drawn patterns and a soft colour palette 'inspired by nature with a clear focus on sustainability'. Its latest collection, Summer Fields, features strawberry prints and gingham checks in soft pink, yellow, and green, complete with ruffles, accessories, and matching outfits. It noted that all its collections are made of organic cotton and RWS-certified wool. Meanwhile, the additional Newbie Woman collection provides matching outfits for mothers and children, 'enhancing the brand's appeal to families', and the Newbie Room Collection further diversifies the product range, featuring storage solutions and decorative items. It said this ongoing expansion is part of the company's long-term growth strategy, where the focus is on a three-pillar approach of 'establishing a presence in key markets, meeting increased demand and creating inspiring in-store experiences'. Thomas Kusoffsky, VP at Newbie, said: 'The British market is exciting and full of potential, and we are eagerly looking forward to continuing our growth journey here. Our British customers have given Newbie a very warm reception. The UK is an important market in our global expansion strategy, as we aim to also establish the Newbie brand in more markets across Europe.'
