The Stormont Dundas & Glengarry detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police has released photos of a vehicle of interest as it continues to investigate a fatal motorcycle crash on July 6.

In a social-media post on Thursday, police said they were attempting to identify a black Honda Civic or Accord that had been seen nearby at the time of the crash at County Road 2 and Brodeur Road. Anyone with dashcam video of the area at that time was asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers.

A 23-year-old man from Quebec was found in a ditch beside County Road 2 in the Camerons Point area just before 9 p.m. on July 6, police had said previously. The rider was transported to hospital by Cornwall SDG paramedics in critical condition before being transferred to a regional trauma centre. He died less than a week later.

Witnesses had said that a car, described as a black Honda Civic or Accord, was driven dangerously in the area at the time of the crash. It was not known if this vehicle was involved in the collision, the police said at that time.

Four people have been taken to hospital following a serious marine incident in Lakeshore. CTV Windsor's Travis Fortnum is on scene. A 17-year-old girl is dead and another teen is fighting for her life after a jet ski crash in Lakeshore. Essex County OPP say emergency crews were called to Lake St. Clair, near Couture Beach, around 2 p.m. Thursday for a collision involving a single personal watercraft. With help from nearby residents, first responders pulled four girls — aged 15 to 17 — from the water. Police say the 17-year-old victim was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead. A 16-year-old girl was transported to hospital and later airlifted to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries. Two more girls, ages 15 and 17, were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. 17-year-old dead, three others injured in Lakeshore personal watercraft collision, OPP say

One young woman is dead, a second has life-threatening injuries and two others are also injured after a collision involving a single personal watercraft near Couture Beach on Lake St. Clair, according to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). First responders were called to the scene in the Municipality of Lakeshore at about 2 p.m., OPP Const. Steven Duguay said in a video posted to Facebook. Nearby residents helped them rescue four people. A 17-year-old girl from Essex County was taken to hospital, where she was pronounced deceased from her injuries, Duguay said. A 16-year-old girl was taken to hospital then airlifted to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries. Two other girls, aged 15 and 17, were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. OPP are investigating the collision, Duguay said.
