Atalanta identify Elia Caprile as replacement for Marco Carnesecchi

Serie A side Atalanta can lose Marco Carnesecchi this summer and they are eyeing a replacement for the goalkeeper.
Manchester United have been linked with the La Dea player and TuttoAtalanta claim that even though no formal offers have arrived, a figure of around €50 million will convince Atalanta into a sale.

The Bergamo club know that it will be difficult to replace the 24-year-old, but they see Elia Caprile as a key target. He is at the top of their shortlist, if Carnesecchi departs as the Napoli player has been on the radar of Atalanta scouts in the last few months when he impressed in a loan deal at Cagliari.
Good relations between the Sardinians and Atalanta can help in this move, but also of interest is Juventus' Mattia Perin.
They believe that the idea of playing regularly for the Champions League club can convince the goalkeeper into a move. Everything now depends on Carnesecchi and how much Manchester United can offer for him.

Arsenal fans: After Havertz injury, who should be signed in closing days of window?

Arsenal have brought in six new signings this summer, but with David Ornstein reporting Kai Havertz is set for a spell on the sidelines with a knee injury, what should they be doing in the final days of the transfer window? Viktor Gyokeres, signed from Sporting CP this summer, started in the victory over Manchester United on the opening day of the Premier League season, but with Havertz out, he will be the only recognised central striker available to Mikel Arteta. The club have been looking for an option to play on the left of their front three, but should they now concentrate on a No 9? Or look for a versatile option? As reported today, the club are actively exploring the transfer market to potentially reinforce their attack and cover the absence of Havertz. With the transfer window closing on September 1, who do you think sporting director Andrea Berta should be looking to bring in? The Athletic Staff Aug. 20, 2025 7:45 am EDT

Agent Of Marseille & France Midfielder Comments On His Future Amid Inter Milan Links: 'We Will Evaluate Offers From Serie A'

Marseille midfielder Adrien Rabiot could return to Serie A after his representatives offered him to Inter Milan. Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, Rabiot's mother-agent Veronique delivered a verdict on her son's future. Despite joining Marseille only last summer, Adrien Rabiot could already be on his way back to Italy. Indeed, the former Juventus star has grown frustrated with life at Stade Velodrome. Following a heated discussion with his teammate, Jonathan Rowe, Rabiot has expressed his desire to leave. Although Roberto De Zerbi sidelined Rowe, the 30-year-old remains keen on severing ties with Marseille. Meanwhile, his entourage has offered his services to Inter. The Nerazzurri refused to sign the Frenchman last summer when his contract at Juventus expired. As it stands, Inter's stance has not changed as they seem unwilling to seize this opportunity. On the other hand, his mother confirms his decision to find a new club. Adrien Rabiot Agent Fuels Exit Speculation Amid Inter Milan Links SALERNO, ITALY – JANUARY 07: Adrien Rabiot of Juventus during the Serie A TIM match between US Salernitana and Juventus at Stadio Arechi on January 07, 2024 in Salerno, Italy. (Photo by) Veronique admitted they will entertain offers from Serie A. However, she left the door open to a potential switch to the Premier League and La Liga. 'From now on, we will only consider serious projects coming from Italy, Spain, and England,' she said. Furthermore, she also dismissed De Zerbi's recent claim that Rabiot had shown unprofessional behavior. 'It came as a shock, because disagreements between players do happen. 'In any case, Italy shouldn't be ruled out, alongside the projects of top clubs in Spain and England,' said the mother-agent. Rabiot has emerged as one of the potential midfield targets for Inter. However, the Italian giants prefer a younger alternative, with Rennes starlet Djaoui Cisse ranking high on their list.
