Following Europa League heartbreak against Tottenham, the Argentine refused to be drawn on his future at United.

Man Utd and Spurs turn attention to Arsenal-linked Roma centre-back

Manchester United and Tottenham are both interested in Roma centre-back Evan Ndicka, who has already caught the attention of Arsenal, according to reports. The 25-year-old defender has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, even before he joined Roma from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023. The Ivory Coast international instead moved to the Italian capital on a free transfer, signing a five-year contract. Since then he has become a key figure in the Roma starting XI, making 85 appearances in just two seasons, scoring once. Ndicka was named in the Bundesliga Team of the Season in his final year with Frankfurt and in the Serie A Team of the Season this season with Roma. As Roma finished fifth in Serie A and had to settle for a return to the Europa League, the towering central defender continues to be linked with a move. Arsenal were linked with a move earlier this year, but were reportedly informed that Roma had no intention of letting Ndicka leave. That has not quelled speculation and reports from France – where Ndicka was born – have linked Manchester United and Tottenham with possible bids this summer. The report from RMC Sport, via French Football Weekly, states that Ndicka is valued at as little as €40m (£33.7m). However, that seems improbably low given the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Newcastle United have also been touted as interested parties. If Roma were to sanction a move then there would likely be a bidding way and Ndicka would have his pick of a string of huge clubs. In a recent interview with L'Equipe, the Ivorian refused to be drawn on rumours surrounding his future and insisted he remained fully committed to Roma. 'I'm not pretending that I don't see the rumours,' Ndicka told the French publication last month. But I have respect in Rome and I respect them 'I have three years remaining on my contract, we will see what happens later.' Manchester United are expected to have an extremely busy transfer window, both in terms of incomings and outgoings. More Trending Central defence is not their top priority, with both signings and sales in attack top of the to-do list. Their transfer budget and pull in the market was hampered badly by their defeat to Tottenham in the Europa League final, which saw Spurs grab the spot in the Champions League for the forthcoming season. Spurs are now expected to invest heavily, but first they must appoint a new manager after the sacking of Ange Postecoglou. Brentford boss Thomas Frank is expected to be hired as the Australian's replacement. Juventus respond as Andrea Berta puts Kenan Yildiz on summer transfer shortlist

Arsenal are interested in Juventus star Kenan Yildiz, but they do not want to sell the 20-year-old winger and are set to open talks with him over a new contract Juventus are reportedly planning to offer Kenan Yildiz a new contract in a bid to ward off interest from clubs like Arsenal. Yildiz enjoyed an impressive campaign for Juventus this season, producing 16 goal contributions in 48 appearances across all competitions. The 20-year-old is attracting interest from a number of sides across Europe and Arsenal are among them, with Mikel Arteta keen to strengthen his forward line this summer. Italian outlet Tuttosport are reporting that Arsenal are the club who are 'most interested' in Yildiz. ‌ The Gunners are said to have a longstanding interest in Yildiz and are ready to spend between €50million (£42m) and €60m (£50.5m) on a new winger. It is claimed that Yildiz and Athletic Bilbao star Nico Williams are Arsenal's top targets. ‌ However, Juventus believe Yildiz is worth closer to €100m (£84m) and they are ready to open talks with the Turkey international over a new deal which could see him double his salary. Juventus endured a disappointing campaign as they finished fourth in Serie A, but they finished the season strongly after Igor Tudor replaced Thiago Motta as manager in March. Juventus have lost just one game under Tudor and Yildiz has spoken highly of the Croatian. "He gave us energy, it was important for us," Yildiz told DAZN last month about Tudor's impact. "Since he arrived, we've been happy, we've been working hard. I'm happy with this season, but I want to improve in everything. "I'm always looking ahead. The No.10 shirt doesn't add any pressure. I play as usual and I'm happy to be wearing it." Arsenal, meanwhile, have yet to make any new signings but Arteta has told fans that this summer's transfer window will be a "big one" for the club. "It's going to be a big one and we are very excited about it," he said. ‌ "When you are going to go again, we want to increase the depth of the squad and the quality and the skills that we need to go to the next step. "Every summer is big because it is an opportunity – and especially because of the number of players we have in the squad right now, that is necessary. "But it's a big summer for many things because first of all we have to maintain the good foundations that we have and then obviously how can we improve and evolve the team." Ross McCausland transfer latest as Rangers winger sees fight for his signature multiply

The Northern Ireland ace still has two years left to run on his contract and is keen to be part of Russell Martin's plans. Cardiff City is the latest club to register an interest in Rangers winger Ross McCausland. The Northern Ireland ace still has two years left to run on his Ibrox contract and is keen to be part of new gaffer Russell Martin's plans. ‌ But with Rangers in the market for wide players, several clubs are keeping tabs on McCausland's situation. English League one sides Cardiff and Plymouth Argyle, as well as MLS club FC Cincinnati, are all monitoring the 22-year-old in this transfer window. ‌ While Belgian side OH Leuven and Swiss outfit Basel also have McCausland on their radar. Record Sport understands he'd prefer to stay at his boyhood club but with a squad overhaul on the cards at Ibrox, Martin could listen to offers for the youngster who made 25 appearances for Rangers last term. McCausland moved to Ibrox in 2019 from Linfield and was given first-team opportunities by ex-gaffer Philippe Clement. He scored in the club's 2-0 Europa League win over Malmo last season but failed to nail down a regular starting slot. New boss Martin is still assessing his squad and potential targets, alongside Ibrox sporting director Kevin Thelwell. He's keen to land Leicester City defender Conor Coady to bolster his backline and have already made contact with the Foxes.
