Horoscope Today
In love, emotional clarity brings deep comfort. If in a relationship, ask yourself whether your feelings are being respected. Do not keep adjusting yourself just to maintain harmony. Honest conversations may feel difficult but they will create stronger understanding.
If single, stop overthinking every sign or message. You deserve a love that feels sure, not confusing. Clear love will always be more beautiful than complicated attention.
Choose emotional honesty over temporary charm.
Virgo Career Horoscope Today
Career work may bring small confusion today regarding direction or teamwork. Do not ignore small mistakes or unclear messages. Ask questions before moving forward. You may feel slightly overwhelmed if you try to manage everything silently.
Instead, speak clearly with your team or senior. This is not a sign of weakness, but smart planning. You may receive important updates or new responsibilities, so it is good to be mentally ready.
Clear communication will improve both your workflow and your peace.
Virgo Money Horoscope Today
Money matters today need a calm review. There may be confusion around expenses or payment delays. Take time to sit with your accounts and check what needs attention.
Do not avoid the details. A small correction can prevent a bigger issue later. If someone is involved in shared finances, make sure both sides are fully clear about expectations. You are worthy of financial peace, not stress. Avoid borrowing or lending today unless everything is clearly written and understood.
Simplicity is security.
Virgo Health Horoscope Today
Health feels average but the mind may be slightly foggy or tired. You could experience stomach discomfort or light sleep due to internal stress. This shows the need for mental cleansing, not just physical. Avoid overthinking and reduce screen time. Eat warm, clean food and drink jeera or ajwain water to calm digestion. Sleep early and avoid multitasking.

Elon Musk confirms Tesla will let shareholders decide on xAI investment: Details here

Elon Musk has confirmed that Tesla plans to poll its shareholders on whether to invest in xAI. The billionaire's comments come shortly after a Wall Street Journal report claimed that SpaceX was ready to invest $2 billion into xAI. Writing on X, Musk suggested that the final decision on investing in xAI does not reside with him but with the shareholders. Last year, Musk had also polled X users on whether Tesla should invest $5 billion in xAI, noting at the time that he was just testing the waters. 'It's not up to me. If it was up to me, Tesla would have invested in xAI long ago. We will have a shareholder vote on the matter,' Musk wrote in response to a post. xAI is the artificial intelligence lab set up by Elon Musk in early 2023 in response to the rising popularity of ChatGPT. Since then, the company has rolled out its Grok AI chatbot, which recently received an update to the Grok 4 models. The chatbot competes directly with the likes of ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude. Earlier this year, Musk merged xAI and X in a deal that valued the AI startup at $80 billion and the social media company at $33 billion. According to a Bloomberg report, Musk is seeking investments in the combined entity at a valuation of $200 billion. His desire for Tesla to invest in xAI appears to be part of his broader plan to more closely entwine his corporate empire. Earlier this month, Musk revealed that Tesla would use Grok AI within its cars. The EV maker had also disclosed in April that xAI was one of its customers last year, with the startup spending $198.3 million on commercial consulting and support agreements with Tesla. Bloomberg reported that the bulk of that amount ($191 million) was spent on purchasing Tesla's utility-scale energy storage batteries, known as Megapacks.

Tesla to offer shareholders chance to invest in xAI, says Elon Musk

Tesla will give its shareholders the option to invest in artificial intelligence startup xAI, billionaire owner of both companies Elon Musk said on his social media platform X. "It's not up to me... We will have a shareholder vote on the matter," Musk said in response to a social media user suggesting that the electric car maker take a stake in xAI, which recently acquired X. "If it was up to me, Tesla would have invested in xAI long ago," the world's richest man said. According to the Wall Street Journal, another company controlled by Elon Musk, SpaceX, will invest $2 billion into xAI as part of its $5 billion capital raise. Responding to an X user who cited the WSJ's news story, Musk said that "it would be great" but would depend on "board and shareholder approval." Since the launch of xAI, which developed the generative AI assistant Grok, Musk has floated the potential synergies between the AI start-up and his two crown jewels, SpaceX and Tesla. According to the Financial Times, the businessman is seeking a valuation between $170 and $200 billion for xAI in a new funding round. Launched in July 2023, xAI is hoping to catch up with its major generative AI competitors, OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic (Claude) and Google (Gemini). The start-up has invested heavily in a gigantic data centre in Memphis, Tennessee, which Musk claims will become the "most powerful AI training system in the world." He has purchased another plot of land nearby to create more data centers, which are essential for developing and running large-scale artificial intelligence models. According to Bloomberg, xAI is costing over a billion dollars every month as it builds upgraded models, with its expenses far exceeding its revenues. xAI's virtual assistant Grok has been the source of a series of controversies. After an update on July 7, some of the chatbot's responses praised Adolf Hitler and suggested that people with Jewish surnames were more likely to spread online hate. On Saturday, xAI apologised for offensive posts, announcing that it had corrected the instructions that had led, according to the company, to these slip-ups.

Google launches new AI innovations to strengthen agri sector

Bengaluru: To strengthen India's agriculture sector and make AI models more sensitive to the country's linguistic and cultural diversity, Google launched a new agricultural monitoring and event detection (AMED) application programming interface (API). The company also announced a collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur to build localised datasets on India's rich cultural tapestry. It will help in equipping global Large Language Models with better linguistic and cultural context at the local level. The new mechanism will provide information on crops and field activity across India that will eventually empower the ecosystem to build targeted solutions that support agricultural productivity and resilience, the global tech giant said in a statement. The API details the type of crop on individual fields across India, as well as each field's size and corresponding sowing and harvesting dates. It will also provide historical information of last three years about the agricultural activity in each field. 'With AI research -- and especially with AMED building on the foundation of ALU -- we're working on accelerating crucial shifts, transforming broad insights to granular, real-time data, so that increasingly impactful solutions not only translate into benefit for India's farmers, but also bolster the nation against rising climate risks,' said Alok Talekar, lead, agriculture and sustainability research lead, Google DeepMind. 'At Google, along with charting new frontiers in foundational AI, which forms the backbone of many of our launches in the Gemini era, we have continued advancing fundamental research that addresses some of the most pressing challenges facing humanity,' said Dr Manish Gupta, Senior Director for India and APAC at Google DeepMind. By adding more localised data — such as various languages, dialects, and cultural quirks that aren't currently included in AI training — Google's Amplify Initiative seeks to fill in knowledge gaps in Large Language models. 'We're thrilled to collaborate with Google on the Amplify Initiative and open a new chapter in global AI development,' stated Dr Mainack Mandal, Assistant Professor, IIT Kharagpur.
