Ducab Metals Business campaign makes brand more relatable with partners, customers

Campaign ME28-04-2025
Ducab has launched an awareness and education-based campaign titled How DMB Makes It Happen, which is aimed at highlighting the quality of the products of Ducab Metals Business (DMB).
The campaign brought to life by Saatchi & Saatchi Middle East and Prodigious was intended to reinforce DMB's credibility and leadership in the metals sector within the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The mandate of the campaign was to build a deeper understanding about DMB – both internally among employees and externally with partners, customers and the wider industrial community – by making the brand relatable.
The campaign was carried across the brand's social media channels, and will run for a month.
The creative style of the hero video was a blend of industrial storytelling and brand symbolism.
It combined cinematic visuals with a narrative that positioned DMB as more than just a metal supplier; it reflected the human side of the brand, its values, its people and its role in shaping real-world progress.
'Progress is human; it's hands-on – sparking what turns metal into motion. sparking what turns copper and aluminium into lifelines and the engines that drive you forward,' the narrative on the campaign video states.
Success metrics of the campaign are being monitored based on social media engagement.

Cheval Blanc's ultra-luxury private island resort is coming to Dubai

Dubai's hospitality landscape is poised to reach new heights with the arrival of Cheval Blanc, the ultra-luxury maison renowned for its intimate, emotion-driven stays. Set to open in 2029 on a private island, the resort marks the brand's first foray into the city, joining its coveted portfolio of properties in St. Tropez, the Maldives, Seychelles, and St. Barths. Developed by Shamal Holding, the UAE-based investment firm, Cheval Blanc Dubai will embody the brand's signature elegance while embracing the essence of its surroundings. The retreat will feature 30 suites and 40 private pool villas, each meticulously designed with clean, modern lines and warm, understated details. Far from chasing fleeting trends, the architecture will prioritize flow, natural light, and serenity, offering guests an immersive sanctuary to unwind. A Philosophy of Presence What distinguishes Cheval Blanc is its art of hospitality—an experience crafted around emotion, presence, and intuitive service. Every stay is designed to feel deeply personal, where every detail is considered not to impress, but to resonate. Wellness as a Way of Being At Cheval Blanc, wellness is not an add-on but a fundamental rhythm of the stay. The spa experience—likely curated in collaboration with iconic names like Guerlain or Dior—will transcend traditional treatments, offering quiet, thoughtful rituals tailored to individual needs. This is not merely a spa, but a journey of rejuvenation, where every moment is designed to slow time and restore balance. While official details remain under wraps, the maison's legacy suggests exceptional gastronomy will be at the heart of the experience. Expect seasonal, artfully crafted menus that go beyond dining, creating moments where atmosphere, timing, and detail converge into something unforgettable. A Seamless Escape Every element of Cheval Blanc Dubai will honor the natural beauty of its island setting while offering a refined, contemporary retreat. It's a place where luxury is not about excess, but about the right kind of stillness—a rare harmony of design, service, and soul. As anticipation builds, one thing is certain: Dubai's luxury hospitality scene is about to be redefined. – For more on luxury lifestyle, news, fashion and beauty follow Emirates Woman on Facebook and Instagram Images: Supplied & Feature Image: Supplied

How Gulf Millennials are trading like It's Instagram

There was a time when investing was for the lucky few — the rich, the serious, the kind who wore suits to breakfast. Now it's for everyone. Even that twenty-something guy flipping through trading apps in a Sharjah coffee shop, pretending to read poetry. He isn't reading. He's trading — or rather, copying someone else's trade with a single tap. They call it social trading, and Gulf youth are hooked. No all-nighters with charts. No pretending to understand 'Bollinger Bands.' Just find someone who looks like they know what they're doing and copy them, like a recipe from TikTok. Simple. Exciting. Risky It started as whispers: someone's cousin made money in forex; a friend in Dubai cashed out on crypto. People doubted it — 'Just luck,' they said. Then more joined: quiet ones, loud ones, reckless ones. The whispers became movement. A generation raised on Instagram wanted their money to move as fast as their thumbs. Slick apps with shiny charts and 'Top Traders This Week' banners. Users scroll, follow, copy. Wins are thrilling. Losses happen, too — but people keep going. Enter the platforms This isn't only about money; it's about belonging. Open the app and see: 'TraderX is up 28% this month,' with comments and mini fan clubs cheering them on. Trader-influencers are the new reality. 'Buy EUR/USD.' You don't know why — but you click. Social trading is fast, communal, and addictive, like watching reels with cash on the line. The Gulf's young traders want it all now — real-time, bite-sized, and story-driven. Not stiff, calculator finance. They want apps that move like apps, not bank websites from 2003. Stories sell: 'How I made 200 AED in five minutes,' 'Portfolio glow-ups,' lunch-break trades. Social trading adds community to money. A woman shares crypto tips; a guy trades between meetings. Why the Gulf Loves It Little tribes form around risk and reward. Critics call it gambling, and maybe it is — but excitement drives adoption. Behind the scenes, brokerages scramble to adapt. They need platforms that offer copy trading, real-time alerts, and tech that feels effortless. That's where ScaleTrade comes in — giving brokers modular, white label solutions built for this generation. Social trading is about vibe , and ScaleTrade powers it. The future generations come fast, flashy, and maybe wiser. AI may pick your trades in a couple years from now. Apps might warn: 'Too risky.' But once people taste the power to trade, to follow, to win , they won't let go.
