Madden NFL 26 Beta Reveals Packers Team Rating
The Madden NFL 26 video game is generating a lot of buzz as fans anticipate that the newest iteration will outdo previous releases. The game continues to innovate in its realistic simulation of football, allowing gamers to experience all of the action and uniqueness of their favorite players and teams.

The Green Bay Packers are also looking forward to a season where they'll improve upon last year's version. That featured a Wild Card Playoffs loss to the eventual Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.
The NFC and NFC North should be super competitive again. Jordan Love will have a brand new rookie receiver in Matthew Golden, along with talented offensive threats like Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, and Josh Jacobs.

All of the above will be in the upcoming Madden video game, along with the rest of the team's 2025 roster. And some gamers are getting to see if this Packers unit can compete, virtually speaking.

A new Madden NFL 26 beta version dropped this week, allowing select individuals to test out the game. Leaks have seemingly surfaced, with some showing off the overall ratings for all of the league's teams.
One video shared on X displays the Green Bay Packers as the first team and shows that they'll carry an 81 overall rating. That's tied with their division rivals, the Chicago Bears.
Their other NFC North foes have higher ratings. The Minnesota Vikings check in with an 83, while the Detroit Lions carry an 88 in the game's beta version.
While many fans on X griped about the team ratings revealed in this beta leak, there weren't any complaints about the Packers yet. Some complained about the Eagles' rating seeming low, or the Buffalo Bills having a lower ranking the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins.

Several X commenters also mentioned some intriguing points about these leaked overalls in the video.
"They literally said the deep dive all the ratings are randomly generated," one X commenter said.
Another wrote on X, "They aren't finalized they never are don't take this into account."
That 81 may or may not be what Green Bay's rating is when the game drops. According to GamesRadar, the team had the same rating when Madden NFL 25 came out last year. It could also improve as the new season progresses.
Madden NFL 26 releases on August 14 with additional details from the game forthcoming. As of this writing, player ratings have yet to arrive, so fans should have another debate when they see how Packers players compare with others in the league.

Packers invite kids to lend their bikes to Seattle players before joint practice
The Green Bay Packers put out a call to kids to provide bikes for the joint practice with the Seattle Seahawks on Aug. 21. The teams will begin their practice at 10:30 a.m. at Ray Nitschke and Clarke Hinkle Fields, but they'll start at Lambeau Field well before then. The joint practice is the final practice open to the public this season. The Packers play the Seahawks at 3 p.m. Aug. 23 at Lambeau Field. They open the regular season at 3:25 p.m. Sept. 7 against the Detroit Lions at Lambeau Field. It is a tradition for Packers players, and in recent years, of those from visiting teams, to ride bikes, accompanied by their owners, from the Lambeau Field locker rooms to the practice fields east of the stadium. Players from several other teams, the Baltimore Ravens and the Houston Texans among them, have joined in the experience. Kids who want to provide bikes for Packers players can line up in Lot 1 near the Oneida Nation gate on the east side of the stadium. Kids who want to provide bikes for Seahawks players can line up near the Invisalign gate at the end of Valley View Road on the south side of the stadium. There are usually more than enough bikes for Packers players. Fans can gather as early as 8 a.m., but are asked to be in place by 9:30 a.m. at the latest. Bike corrals will be in place at both places to allow kids and players to make contact. The Packers will open practice at Ray Nitschke Field, entering off of Armed Forces Drive, the Seahawks at Clark Hinkle Field, entering through the gate on South Oneida Street. After the teams warm up, they will conduct a joint practice on Ray Nitschke Field. After practice, the Packers will meet bike kids on Armed Forces Drive. Seahawks players will meet kids at the entrance to Lot 1 across from Clarke Hinkle Field and west of South Oneida Street. Texas QB Arch Manning says his grandpa apologized for NFL plan prediction
There's so much speculation about Texas quarterback Arch Manning's future, in the media and even within his own family, that it can be hard for him to keep up. On Tuesday, Manning insisted he's not plotting out how long he'll stay at Texas or when he'll enter the NFL draft, despite his grandfather's recent prediction to Texas Monthly magazine that he'll be with the Longhorns through the 2026 season. 'I don't know where he got that from,' Arch Manning said in his first meeting with reporters since SEC media days in mid-July. 'He texted me to apologize about that. I'm really just taking it day by day right now.' Arch Manning has been careful while talking about his future as he leads the No. 1 Longhorns as the full-time starter after playing behind Quinn Ewers the past two seasons. Manning enters this season as the early favorite for the Heisman Trophy, has endorsement deals worth millions and comes from the most famous quarterbacking family in football. Grandfather Archie played in the NFL and uncles Peyton and Eli combined for four Super Bowl victories. Add that together and Arch Manning is shouldering the biggest spotlight of any player in the country. Texas opens the season August 30 at No. 3 Ohio State after losing to the Buckeyes in the national playoff semifinals last season. Manning is also very close to his grandfather, despite any confusion about whether he's destined for one or two seasons as the Texas starter before heading to the NFL. Manning noted Tuesday how Archie is always giving him advice on how to avoid taking big hits to prolong his career. 'Those hits add up,' Arch Manning said.
